We paid $150 for a child suite ( shoes, tie, and handkerchief NOT included) and I should be able to think this place is competent enough that I don't have the responsibility of double checking their work. It's not rocket science people. We were given a size 10 suit with a 5T button up T-shirt. We did not notice until day of. When we returned the suit, my husband asked not for a full refund, but maybe a partial refund due to the inconvenience and stress of not having our order correct and complete. Very disappointed! My daughter's big party in one week and Marla didn't have the dress. We went in October 2023 plenty of time and she said she would have it done Event is end of April . I called every month and weekly to ask how dress was going . She gave me excuses. Finally the week of event , she said she didn't have the dress! This ruined my moment with my daughter. I was in need of a suit for a school formal event and was initially looking to rent a suit. I looked at a couple different places based on their ratings online and D'arca stood out. When I got in I was instantly greeted and my questions were all answered. They went out of their way to help me try on different suits. I liked one of the suits so much that I decided to buy instead of rent. I tried it on and John sat down and pointed out where the fitting could be adjusted. I have longer legs and longer arms so I needed an inch or so for the sleeves and pants each. I told John about my tight deadline and he said he could have it adjusted for no extra charge. Mr. D'Arca was a life saver with our wedding! Having had absolutely no experience with weddings, my husband and I were a bit lost as to what to do. It was amazing, last Saturday I was going all over for a wedding dress, really discouraged from the other places I went to, while I felt safe at the other places their customer service was not great and as much as tried to explain what I was looking for they weren't able to understand. We came to this place to get an emergency dress for my daughter's 15th birthday celebration (quinceañera) because the place we originally ordered it from 4 months prior, was not responding. The nice lady there was super helpful. Although they didn't have her dream dress, there was one that would suffice. The lady there said she would place it on hold for us for a few days. In the meantime, she would pray for us to get her dream dress. We found the dress at a different store and when we notified her, she celebrated! This place is also a tuxedo rental. I came to this store with the intent of having alterations done to a brand new $900 Hugo Boss suit. I was recommended this place by a few of my friends so I took their advice. I also appreciated that this place was open on Sundays which you'll find is rare with tailors in the San Bernardino. I arrived their at around 1:30pm and it was busy. A tailor was with a family setting them up for a quincenaera. The way they have the front desk positioned so the lady clerk cant really see you. Once she did see me, I was told to talk to the other tailor Eric in the other room. I explained to the lady clerk I need my suit altered and pants hemmed. Erik yells out tell him to come back tomorow when Marge is here. I was willing to wait since I saw it was a little busy. They didnt bother asking me that or any other questions. Plus to get properly fitted wouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes and then drop off for a pick up a week later. I work a 9-5 job during the week and to be asked to come back on a different day didnt sit well with me. Needless to say I wont be coming back. Call before you drop by the store if you absolutely must go to them. Otherwise, dont even bother. read more
