She came off very kind in the beginning but she is a very hostile woman who made the entire experience a very sad one for me and it's still on my mind. When I went to pick up my dress, she called me and immediately accused me of being "disrespectful" for not doing all my alterations with them--something that was never stated to me as a clear policy. In person, she continued to speak to me harshly and said I wasted their time and what I did was not acceptable. She said it so many times and so aggressively I started to cry, and only then she felt bad for being so ridiculously harsh. I even offered to apologize to her seamstress who she claims I was wasting her time, to which she then told told me "it's not a big deal" To make it worse, I was quoted $50 but charged $75 with no clear explanation. I did not want to further argue so I paid what was asked. I went in to pick up my wedding dress, an experience every girl wants to remember for the rest of their lives and left feeling upset and honestly in tears. No customer should be treated this way. Would not recommend doing business with someone like her.

With that said, I had a really pleasant experience recently with Men's Suit Outlet. I went in, got greeted straight away, and it was down to business. John helped me out. Asked me some basic questions about what the suit was for, when I needed it by, what sort of price range I was after, etc. He quickly narrowed down exactly what I needed. Had me try on a jacket to start. It fit pretty much perfectly, no adjustments needed. Then it was on to pants. The pants ran long, but that's to be expected... everyone has different length legs. It would be a bit much to expect them to carry lengths for every leg size. We got a pair that fit my waist well, but was a bit tight in the thighs and calves. John let me know they could let it out a bit. The cost for tailoring the pants was reasonable and competitive. They had the suit ready for me within a few days. I think they likely could have done the tailoring faster if I requested, but I wasn't in a last minute rush so it was fine. Overall I was really happy with my experience and my purchase. The suit looks great on me. Best fitting suit I've probably ever owned. I used to just buy off the rack suits that always fit a bit weird and looked a bit silly. The tailored look really takes it to the next level. So if you're a guy who doesn't wear a lot of suits, wants a nice suit for a budget price, then you should be pretty happy getting a suit here. That's not to say if you are a suit guy with a bigger budget that you can't find stuff here. They certainly had much fancier suits that I certainly couldn't afford. Right after purchase and walking out, their alarm beeped again. She came running after me, screaming, assuming I stole something. She asked to check my bag and I showed her my bag with the receipt. Her response was "Oh, this is from H&M. The alarm beeped." And walked away. While I understand alarms need to be checked, the situation felt uncomfortable because of how it was handled, and there was no apology after the misunderstanding.
