I normally don't write reviews, but I'm disappointed enough with this experience that I felt it was necessary to share. I truly wish I could have left a 5-star review for their service. I was referred to Simply Suits by a friend because they were running a promotion: buy six suits, get the seventh free. We have a wedding coming up, and I thought it would be a great deal for the groom and groomsmen. I reached out to Charles, and to be fair, he was very pleasant and thorough in explaining everything. I let him know that we're based in Arizona while he operates out of California. He assured me that distance wouldn't be an issue. It took me some time to gather all the measurements from our group, but once I did, Charles got the ball rolling. Communication was excellent--until we received the suits. Unfortunately, this is where everything went downhill--and why I'm leaving a 1-star review. We received the suits on May 27th, 2025. I had been recovering from the flu and wasn't able to try them on right away or coordinate fittings with the others. Once I felt better, I collected payments from everyone and Zelled Charles $180 per suit for six suits, plus shipping, on Friday, May 30th. That same evening, everyone finally had a chance to try on their suits for the first time. Right after sending the payment and trying on the suits, I let Charles know that several of them didn't fit properly. Some pants were far too large and long (for example, someone with a 32/30 size received a 40/34). Most blazers fit well, but a few were uncomfortably tight. Charles suggested getting them altered locally for an additional $20-$30, but we were expecting suits that were ready to wear. Everyone agreed they'd rather return the suits. As soon as I brought up the possibility of a return, Charles went completely silent. I've texted and called him multiple times over several days--with no response. I even reached out via Simply Suits Co's Instagram page (which publicly lists his number), but still haven't heard back. I was expecting great customer service and had high hopes based on all the 5-star reviews. Instead, I feel like I misled my groomsmen into thinking we got a great deal--only for all of us to end up stuck with ill-fitting suits and no support. read more

I had a good experience with Charles and Simply Suits but did have some struggles. The first fitting with my groomsmen went really really well. I actually had my groomsmen all go to his place in Pasadena together and it was a great experience. We were cutting it a little close because we went in about a month or a little more than a month before the wedding. That may have been some cause for the struggle because Charles really pushed to make the order for the light grey groomsmen suits which we had tentatively chosen for us to be able to get the suits on time. I really appreciated his care to make sure we could get them on time. However, I had not made any payments nor had I made it clear that grey was the final decision. He went ahead and ordered the suits from the supplier, so when we decided to change the colors to midnight blue for the groomsmen he seemed upset that I was changing colors because he had already paid the supplier. He reluctantly changed the color to dark navy blue when I made the final decision for the color. Furthermore, when we had fitted for the white shirts for everyone, we thought the fit was pretty good and might just need 1 minor adjustment per shirt, but it all happened very quickly and after paying $125 and receiving the shirts, we realized the fit was pretty off for all of us, and would require another $30-40 per shirt for tailoring multiple parts of the shirts when we could have just looked elsewhere for better fitting shirts. Charles would not take returns on the shirts once they were taken out of original packaging and I guess I should have known that he had a no return policy, but I wish he would have been more serious about making sure at the fitting that the shirts fit very well and would only need minor adjustment. Just be warned of the no-return policy and be very careful and detailed when doing your fitting. Otherwise, they are very kind and good people, and I would definitely recommend them for your wedding suits needs. I got wool suits at a great price and they really do help make getting suits for all your groomsmen an organized and easy process. read more
