I got married in October and looked great that day thanks to Simply Suits! The entire process for my groomsmen and I was super easy. Richard comes over to your house, he takes your measurements and then he delivers your tux in about a week. On top of that, you won't be disappointed with the overall price tag I highly recommend Simply Suits!

My fiancé and I found out that a friend of a friend had a wedding suit business so we decided to call Charles. He was very friendly and easy going with the whole process. We did the initial appointment at my house in Alhambra. Charles showed us the suits and did a quick fitting my fiancé, his suits are great quality and the price is just right. So we decided to go with Charles for the suit and we set up a second appointment along with my fiancé groomsmen. The second appointment was at our house as well which was very convenient. Once Charles was done with his getting everyone sizes, he had them deliver the suits in a week. I really loved his suits and the price he gave us. I highly recommend Charles if you're in need of wedding suits for you and the groomsmen. Quality 5 out of 5 Price 5 out of 5 Service 5 out of 5 *I recommend giving him a call to set up an appointment.

Do they take walk-ins or by appointments only?

Hi, we are by appointment only. However if you have an urgent request we can do our best to accommodate your request.

    Do you tailor women's suits?

As far as my experience go, they only do mens suits

From the very beginning, Jerry took the time to guide me through the entire process of building my first custom suit. We carefully reviewed every detail, from the collar to the cuffs, and I quickly realized just how meticulous the art of suit-making truly is or perhaps that level of precision is simply Jerry's signature. At the first fitting, Jerry proudly presented the finished suit and shirt, walking me through every thoughtful detail. He explained the stitching, pointed out how the trousers were subtly tailored at the hem to drape perfectly over the shoes, highlighted the custom embroidery, and even showed the sweat guards sewn into the suit--along with countless other details I would have never noticed on my own. His enthusiasm and pride in his craft were unmistakable, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about creating something exceptional for his clients. I walked away with an incredible suit and tie, and an even greater appreciation for the craftsmanship and passion that Jerry brings to his work.

I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Most of what I found in the stores were polyester dominant blends or unattractive designs. Suits were shiny or tailored for a body shape that was thinner than mine. Stores are also open to the street. Needless to say, I arrived after a most depressing shopping experience. When I went to The Men's Wearhouse, I easily found street parking (on a Sunday). I was greeted upon entry. I did not know the lay out of the store and the younger salesman who was attending me asked appropriate questions about what I was seeking. My tastes are somewhat older and many of the features or designs that I had wanted are no longer in fashion. The clerk, however, was able to extrapolate from what I was expressing to help me find something that might seem close to what I would want. When I asked him for measurements he took a variety of them; arms up, arms to the side, etc. I wasn't planning on buying a shirt, but I went for it anyway. I told him that besides having some extra space in the stomach, I absolutely needed a neck collar with some give. I was going to be wearing a tie and was not about to be pinched by it. The second shirt he found me was 100% cotton and an excellent fit . I was clear about my budget and he told me what the prices were of the garments before he offered me to try them on. At check out, he told me that if I were to sign up for the store's website, I would be given an on-the-spot discount that would cover the cost of the tax. I was extremely satisfied with this shopping experience and would whole-heartedly recommend the Men's Wearhouse in Pasadena for upscale men's garments.

I brought the jacket in for a smaller size. The store removed the tags because I asked them to open the pockets. On the day of the funeral when I tried to button the jacket and realized the button was on the lapel in a way that didn't allow for the lapel to lay flat. The day after I needed the suit I brought it back to return it. It hadn't been worn, but without the tags they won't accept it. THEY REMOVED THE TAGS. The suit was unusable and sold as separates. Take the unworn jacket back (at least) and offer an apology. The tags are in your possession!

Main Street Attraction is a nonprofit thrift run by volunteers. Proceeds from sales go to benefit local charities and fund college scholarships for women in the local area. When I arrived there were about 10 people lined up out front waiting for the store to open. All items were on sale for $1 with the exception of Men's Suits and a few high end designer pieces. Inside you will find a little of everything. Clothes, shoes, and accessories for men, women, & children as well as books and household items. Everything was nicely laid out. The store was clean & organized and all items were in good condition. The prices are very reasonable, which makes this store a great place to pick up items that you don't want to spend too much money on. I scored an adorable Nicole Miller bolero jacket as well as a few other items for $1 each. I had to suggest their actual hours so that their website reflected that. Everything is donated and appears to be fast fashion-think SHEIN and lots of polyester, everything goes to charity so there's that I suppose. The workers are entirely volunteer based which makes for a poor system, resulting in the service being almost too attentive with the staff immediately asking what you're looking for and approaching you the minute you pull something off to get a closer look. For example I had to remove some dresses to even be able to look at the dresses but one of the volunteers asks if I wanted her to hold them but then stood there waiting for me to be done which felt uncomfortable to say the least. Because everyone's a volunteer they're bored and try to be "too helpful" in that you can't look in peace and feel constantly watched. In addition the racks were packed way too tight, making it almost impossible to look at the clothes individually. Hard pass for me thank you.

Basically, it would require hand-stitching around the hem to ensure the dress was proactively protected against possible fraying of the sheer silk / cotton material. When another seamstress (see previous review) promised the world, then disappeared, we needed to find another referral, and one of our stylist at the studio suggested this quaint shop located in the heart of West Hollywood. They were open thankfully until 7 pm - much later than most tailors - and even at that hour were still incredibly busy with clientele needing suit and dress alterations. Thankfully, there was plenty of parking across the street, in an area that often has no available parking, and waited about 20 minutes- a blessing considering how popular they are! The owner was incredibly gracious, carefully examined the dress, found a few other places that could use the protective stitching, and graciously worked out a price point that would work. They even graciously expedited the work, allowing us to pick up within four days versus the normal 7 to 10. Genuine lifesavers; we can only assume from all of the outstanding reviews and how busy they are that the work will be excellent. Will update once the dress is ready. It seemed like they had about 5 to 6 tailors on staff, an owner, a senior manager, and a front desk person - so very well staffed and clearly thriving in their excellence.
