Just bought a Mediterranean with chicken from there and I have had it before. Today it turned out differently. As I opened my bowl from take out, a tiny bug crawled out of it. I saw it slowly come out of the greens and made its way out of my bowl. That was absolutely disgusting. I hope they can do something about this issue but i am not going back there anymore.

I come here frequently, because I believe in healthy eating. We're pretty much loyal fans with this Freshii location. Although you may see dessert and junk food reviews up on my Yelp from time-to-time, my main diet is actually very vegetarian and alkaline. So my main go-to venues are at Freshii and another vegetarian place. We often go to this Freshii location because we have relatives and a few friends who live in Richmond, so we stop by Freshii before or after visiting them. We've been here since they first opened, but I can't remember when that was, I think maybe early 2018. The owners are very nice and put a lot of hard work into their franchised venue. We received a little card for Christmas from the staff, which was a sincere touch from this venue. The food is always fresh and I love how Freshii allows customized menu items. I often get a custom rice or salad bowl here. I think we come anywhere between 2 - 6 times per month to this Freshii (it depends on how often we visit family members in Richmond). Customers seem to mostly be residents from the neighboring condos, and the clientele from the Steve Nash Gym right beside it, around the 20's - 40's age range. I have seen a few times a family or 2 here as well, but mostly quiet singles or couples. If you have read my previous reviews, an eating establishment's environment is important to me, because I try to find venues that aren't noisy (ie not have too many children around making noise, or young party-type highschool/college kids with their loud-talking selfie-taking entourage). As my Yelp title "Introvert Foodie" implies, I try to seek venues that attract mostly quiet adult customers and a zen atmosphere, which this Freshii location does nicely.

superfood soup, very disappointing. uncooked veggie + hot water

salad, wrapps are ok. the superfood soup is a disaster, it's basicaaly raw veggie + hot veggie broth....

Delicious and authentic Chinese vegetarian restaurant located in the International Buddhist Temple…read more We tried a number of dishes including the sweet and sour "pork", tofu wrap, Teochow dumplings, radish cakes, sesame balls and mango pudding. The sesame balls were perhaps the best I have ever had--still warm and toasty on the outside and soft red bean goodness on the inside. Service was very kind and welcoming. The place itself is a cozy spot with around 8-10 tables that can seat 7-8 people and a handful of 2-seater tables. The restaurant opens daily from 12:30 pm-3 pm. Worth adding to any visit to this temple!

The dishes included were: Sichuan-style spicy tofu (not spicy at all), Fried rice, Fried broccoli, Veggie chow mein, and Sweet and sour vegetarian "meat". The first four were very good, but the sweet and sour was exceedingly sweet (par for the course for the dish). The fried rice was a surprising highlight. I wouldn't have chosen this assortment of dishes if it were up to me, but given the selection, everything was made very well. Not at the level of the Buddhist Chinese restaurants in Vancouver (Po Kong and Sun Bo Kong), but very good nonetheless. I'm sure we will return to try out other dishes. Recommended.

My daughter was at a cooking class in Richmond and as she would always eat dinner at her cooking…read moreclass, I needed to find dinner for myself. After a bit of Google searching, I decided to try out Greenday Vegetarian. It's a food court stall, tucked away on the 2nd floor of Pacific Plaza building. I found it on the Fantuan app and decided to order my food through Fantuan; then go pick it up. There are two sides of the building with escalators that look nearly identical. Make sure to go up the one that's close to the Big Feet store! After waiting several minutes past my requested pickup time and seeing that the app was still showing the message "Confirming your order", I went up to the food stall and inquired about it. It turns out, they don't actually do takeout orders anymore. They really shouldn't be listed on Fantuan anymore. The lady told me they only do dine-in. Well, I was OK with that as I had planned on eating there anyways. I just thought that pre-ordering for pickup through the app might make things quicker for me.  Even though they don't actually do takeout anymore and shouldn't be on the app, it's a good thing for me that they were still on the app, as the food stall only has Chinese menus and I don't read Chinese! Since I had read the menu on the app though, I was able to put in an order for Eggplant and Tofu on Rice. I was relieved that they had that as there were a couple of other items that I inquired about,  having seen them on the Fantuan menu and it turned out, they no longer served it or else it needed to be ordered about 2 days in advance. Well, the food was good. There was a very flavorful sauce used in the dish, and it was colourful which I always love. I was happy with my food but it sure was a bit of an ordeal trying to get my food from this place. Don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. I recommend this place only if you read Chinese, or if you've got someone who reads Chinese to accompany you!  Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free for the first 3 hours.  Location: Tucked away in the food court of Pacific Plaza, on the 2nd floor. You really need to be looking for it or else you can easily miss it.

Decent, no-frills, heap, food court, vegetarian Chinese food…read more I stopped in for lunch on a Friday, as I was passing through Richmond and was ready for lunch. The food court is on the second floor and has 8-10 stalls. This little vegetarian stall has an all-Chinese menu, so if you don't speak the language (i.e., me), it can be a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, the nice woman translated for me and told me some items they had available. I ordered a mixed veggie fried noodle dish ($8.75 after tax), which was ready in under 10 minutes. It was mediocre at best flavour-wise, with a slightly sweet, rich soy sauce covering a generous portion of noodles and decent amount of veggies. Tasted like a cheap home-made stirfry, not something I'd want to pay for. Tasty enough, but unimpressive overall. I wouldn't especially recommend it, but if you happen to be nearby and need a cheap veggie meal, you could do worse.

The menu was great, lots of items you can order pizza, pasta, and Indian! I got a few dishes, and I was happy with them all. I really enjoyed the veggie burger, and the tandoori paneer plate & the cauliflower wings. Everything was flavourful, and felt healthy, I didnt feel gross after eating this food (most places in surrey you feel like there is MSG and feel not good after eating it) but I felt leaving good! The place was busy when I came in and the staff was very nice and attentive Overall it is very clean, and there is absolutely no meat or eggs there. I will certainly be back to try other items on the menu!

A vegetarian bistro and we had just been talking about trying more vegetarian dishes? Why not? As the name suggests, it is small and quaint, buried in a strip mall and one of those "blink and you'll miss it" places. The decor reminded me of a contemporary restaurant where everything is chosen based on their ease of ability to be cleaned (and for the record, the place was clean), with enough seats to sit about 15 people, and I may be rounding up. We were the second table to enter and we were greeted promptly and given the menus. Perhaps I was misled by the restaurant name and did not really know what to make of the meat dishes that I saw: Beef burger? Chicken Nuggets and Fries? Crispy Chicken Burger? I saw nothing to indicate they were the vegetarian version of chicken nuggets or beef burgers, and about 2/3 of the menu was vegetarian or vegan options, so I surmised they must have put a few meat options there to satisfy any meat eaters that wander through the door. I settled on the Spaghetti with Veggie Balls and the boyfriend ordered the Veggie Curry. The pasta was quite filling (included garlic bread) and I discovered the veggie balls and/or sauce was a tad above my spiciness tolerance level, and was even spicier than the Veggie Curry. In hindsight, I wasn't surprised: it is my personal experience that a lot of the times a vegetarian dish will have a lot of spices added in. Chalk it up to not reading the ingredients carefully and thinking things through. In terms of service, I thought it was great. Water glasses were filled regularly, the waitress checked up on us to ask how we were enjoying the food. I would be very interested in coming back and trying other items on the menu!
