I'm very impressed with Fresh Tech Maid Chicago. We specifically chose them because they use environmentally friendly cleaning products that are safe for people with allergies, children, and pets. They absolutely delivered. The first thing I noticed was the complete absence of strong chemical odors, which is rare with most cleaning services. Corrina handled our cleaning and she was meticulous, thorough, and very pleasant to work with. Excellent service from start to finish. Will definitely be using them for our future cleaning service!! read more

I've had a lovely experience with this company so far - Angela was very helpful and thorough in providing me a custom quote and scheduling almost right away for my apartment rental in Lincoln Park. She sent Jannette to clean my home who did a fantastic job and is a lovely human being. She did a good sweep of my home and it felt sparkling after, especially the bathroom and floors. It's been well worth the decision to outsource my cleaning so far to save me some time and energy! read more

Consistently top notch. I am so grateful to have found a company that does such excellent work and cares about the health and safety of their customers and employees. We use Fresh Tech Maid for our housecleaning services and highly recommend Lexie, the technician we always ask for. Lexie is attentive to every detail, noticing areas around the house that we can't get to and that need expert help. Lexie is a perfectionist which we admire and appreciate so much. All that and super sweet with our pets, making sure they are cared for and doted on during her time in our home! Thank you so much, Lexie and Fresh Tech! read more

Leeana's attention to detail is always great and she took extra care when I mentioned my dad was coming in town. Thanks so much!

We have been working with Fresh Tech for several years now and have been mostly pleased with the quality of the cleaning and the dependability of the housekeepers. Our current housekeeper (Maddi) has done a stellar job and has shown a great deal of flexibility and a willingness to go the extra mile to complete all of the tasks on the list. Maddi is cordial, hardworking, and punctual and we are grateful. read more

We've been using Fresh Tech Maid for several years and have always very much appreciated the high quality work and kind service each of the technicians provide. Our most recent technician, Takia, was great with our pet and left our house in fantastic shape - it was so nice to walk into the house after work and see such a clean house! read more

We've been very happy with Fresh Tech Maid. The service setup, the billing and the communication have been very clear and professional. Our tech is Joanisa, and she is great! We appreciate how they listen to our needs. If you are looking for a reliable and professional cleaning firm, give them a try! read more

The cleaning is good. I've used Handy a bunch, and after using Fresh Tech for 3 months, the qualify of cleaning is more consistent with Fresh Tech. Since I know these things get pegged on the workers, the one cleaner I'll call out is Khari, who I always had a good experience with and who always did a good job. If I was reviewing Khari alone I'd give her 5 stars. The communications are super weird with this company. The corporate communications really gross me out and strike me as anti-worker. I really didn't like being told that if a cleaner tries to work with me on their own I should report it and that they would be fined. That really struck me as language that would endanger their workers. What protects cleaners from customers making dishonest claims? Fresh Tech's communications made me feel like they were putting my satisfaction before the humanity of their workers. I am not cool with that. I want a regular maid service because I want to always have the same cleaner. Having the same time slot is good but less important. I've repeatedly had substitute cleaners, where they'd say the cleaning team was one person, but then a different cleaner would show up without any advance warning. That's not ok. If my preferred cleaner can't make it, I'd rather reschedule the time slot than change cleaners. And honestly the chemical-free nature of the company isn't something I even realized when I booked them the first time. I don't even remotely care about that. If you care about that, then, sure, they've got that. Oh and I have a dog, and all the cleaners were cool with my dog. read more

Lashanda was fun to converse with, and she did a great job cleaning. We have been looking for someone new to come and help us with all of the dog hair (3 dogs) and get our place looking presentable again. Thanks Lashanda for your help. Glad to have a professional service instead of mediocre services from Handy. read more

We needed a thorough move out cleaning. Fresh Tech was responsive to my inquiries and able to work within my schedule. The team of Shannon and Rashidah was competent, professional, and cordial. Our home never looked or smelled better. It is also worth noting this is an ethical company - they pay a fair wage to staff employees and provide health care. They followed up to make sure the service was satisfactory. I wish I had discovered them sooner. read more

Last month, I updated a previously positive review to reflect a disappointing experience that I had with Fresh Tech Maids. I'm pleased to report that Fresh Tech contacted me proactively and helped resolve the issues completely to my satisfaction. I'm going to give 4-4.5 stars because we shouldn't have had issues to begin with. That said as, it was a great recovery. Tough interactions are a window into how much the company values customer service. Based on the balance of my cleanings and their effort to resolve, I would definitely recommend and look forward to continuing to use their services going forward. P.S. - I'd really like to thank Susanna. She did a great job on our home. Wonderful attention to detail. Thorough. Super friendly. read more

Domunique did a wonderful job. Very thorough and a very kind professional. She is so great!

Lashanda did an amazing job. Everything was perfect when I got home. Great attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Samantha from Fresh Tech did an excellent job cleaning our home. She listened to what our priorities were and worked hard to accomplish them. Samantha did a thorough, detailed cleaning that left our home sparkling, and she is very pleasant as well! read more

Untrustworthy. We used them once for their "Plus" cleaning and they sent 2 people for a total of 6.5 hours. We sent them feedback showing areas which were missed in the first cleaning. The second time, they made a scheduling mistake sent 1 person instead of 2 to clean our place. The person sent (who mentioned there was a scheduling screw up) also had to go to another job in 3 hours and would have not been able to clean the entire home. When I spoke to her manager over the phone, he tried to cover his mistake and tried to justify why 1 person for 3 hours was going to be enough and that she had to leave at the end of 3 hours. When I asked if they can guarantee the entire home was going to be cleaned, the unprofessional answer I got was "let us see how far she gets and we can send someone over on another day to finish". I cancelled the booking and was told they never want to work with me again. What a joke!!! read more

I love that they're able to get my home clean without all the nasty chemicals. I'll be the first to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the idea of not using bleach, 409, etc (even though they said it would be okay if my preference was for them to use my own products), but I'm so glad I gave the deionized water a chance, as it's superior in every way. It truly cleans surfaces and removes germs without the icky chemical film and smell left behind. So much healthier for the hands, paws, skin, and lungs of everyone in my home, not to mention our precious planet! Plus, Shakieta and Tanika were very professional and friendly with my dog. Fresh Tech is the absolute best! read more

Maloney does a great job! We have two young children and my wife and I work so our house is constantly a mess. When Maloney leaves the house looks perfect. She works from the second she steps in the door. Very sweet and courteous demeanor. I would definitely recommend her. read more

Very professional. Chasity & Shakieta did an amazing job and they had quite a few obstacles to work around. Everything was perfect & I'm super happy. I plan on calling again. Highly recommend!! read more

Never ever use this company. The cleaning is fine, comparable to more respectable companies, but the lack customer service and respect for their customers is downright inexcusable. They not only broke the bed but they stole a very expensive camera with 3 YEARS worth of photos. After numerous emails and phone calls to try and resolve they had the audacity to ask for payment and confirm their next cleaning without even acknowledging the theft and mistreatment of personal items. Would love a reply here but sure they will probably just ignore it. Hate the line "if I could give them zero stars I would"...but seriously, I would. read more

I booked Fresh Tech for a deep clean. Going into it I was extremely impressed with Dave and the high level of communication regarding what needed to happen in our home and scheduling. Unfortunately the end result was lack luster. Our cleaning team did a below average job. They missed key areas of our home and didn't vacuum under couch cushions, wipe key flat surfaces in high touch spaces in our family room, and missed entire bits of our kitchen floor and the sink. We needed a real deep clean that left our home sparkling for upcoming listing pictures and showings. That isn't what we received at all. I called with my concerns and applaud Dave for instantly addressing my feedback. That said it doesn't remedy the issue and we've now wasted a fair amount of money and time. If you opt to go with this service, I would caution you to be very vigilant and verbal with your cleaning team. read more

Do not use this entity. They cancelled or re-arranged things at the last minute two times in a row. They are also overpriced. The woman who owns the outfit became extremely combative over the phone and also insulting. What's that about? Very unprofessional all the way around. They wanted to send a hearing impaired person who does not read lips to our house by herself and told us we would have to manage her while at our house by writing her notes or sending text messages........really? That shouldn't be our obligation to do. Plus, as a lawyer, I believe this is a clear violation of OSHA law to put an employee in that type of position. The initial time they notified us on the day of cleaning that the person was sick.......never suggested sending someone else maybe later that day, Clearly, they have staffing issues. We spent a considerable amount of time coordinating this and they never did even show up. Where do I get my time back?? read more

We've worked with Fresh Tech for years and they always do a fabulous job. Our tech Shakieta is just the best -- she's so dedicated and considerate, and she always leaves our house in spectacular shape. We're so thankful for Shakieta's hard work, and we really highly recommend Fresh Tech! read more

Tatiana is the best, always arrives on time and leaves our home immaculate. She communicates well and makes our home feel like clean and new which allows us time to manage other things. We have a ton of time consuming wainscoting, but we always know she will do a good job. She is always flexible for example if a holiday comes up. read more

I called Fresh Tech maid because I am in a rehab facility having broken my leg in October (2019). My housekeeper had left me weeks before my accident and I needed to have my house cleaned before my family descended for Thanksgiving. Margaret saved me and did a wonderful job of deep cleaning in a large house that she had never been in! She was thorough and professional, according to my neighbor who acquainted her with the house in my absence. When she left the house was "sparkling" and ready for my family. I was so pleased that I had Margaret come back and do a post-Thanksgiving cleaning which also involved washing linens and making three beds. I will definitely hire Margaret for future (regular) cleanings. -anne h. read more

Two weeks ago I booked a cleaning with Fresh Tech to clean my house today since I'm having people over on the 4th of July. I've received multiple reminder emails from them about the appointment, including yesterday at 8:30 AM. Then yesterday at 10:30 AM they sent another email saying the service was canceled with no explanation. I emailed them asking what is going on since I didn't cancel but I haven't heard anything back from them. It's too late now to find someone else so I'll be racing around cleaning my house myself. I thought it would be a nice treat to get my house cleaned and now it's not happening. Obviously I would not recommend this company. Not professional at all. read more

We were moving out from a 3 beds 2 baths apartment during Christmas New Year time. Dave did a really great job explaining their services and listening to my needs, and set up a both efficient and affordable plan for our move out cleaning. Amber was very professional at the work and finished the whole apartments cleaning efficiently. Overall, the price at Fresh Tech Maid is indeed a bit high, but considering the busy holiday time, their efficient work, and their friendly customer service, I would definitely give them a 5 star! read more

Our experience today with FreshTech was truly amazing. Our cleaning was completed by Destiny and she did a fantastic job. She was very thorough throughout and made sure to even clean certain areas that are usually forgotten about. She provided a written account of everything that she did, which was very helpful. Our dog Bentley also approved of the work and looks forward to seeing her back in the future! read more

I take pride in researching and finding the best.  If you're like me you can stop your search and go ahead and book Fresh Tech Maid. It can be hard to find people you can trust and the second we met Destiny we trusted her with our home, dog, and heck even our future children.  Destiny didn't just clean our home, she brought it to a whole other level.  I'm talking about eyes welling up with tears because your home looks so beautiful kind of clean.   Her attention to detail,  professionalism, kindness, and work ethic is beyond compare.  She texted us with updates and exceeded our expectations.  We are so thankful to her and Fresh Tech Maid for providing exceptional service to their customers and for helping us to have a clean happy home! read more

For my first home cleaning, I hired Fresh Tech Maid Services. Enya was assigned to clean my home. Enya is enthusiastic, hard-working, upbeat, conscientious, and well-organized. I live in a condo with a cat. The layout is open-plan, 880 square feet, two bedrooms and one bath, designed so I can "age in place." My cat is a slob. Food particles, litter, cat hair, and litter dust are everywhere. Fortunately, floors are either wood or tile. The initial cleaning included washing the insides of all windows. They sparkle. The wood and tile gleam, as do the stainless steel appliances. Even with all the work she did, Enya took a little time to get acquainted with and play with the cat, who was supervising. I'm very satisfied with Fresh Tech Maid and happy that Enya cleaned my home. I'm on a bi-weekly schedule and Enya will be coming again. Great! read more

We needed a "spring clean" on a short turnaround, as our cat was having an allergic reaction to dust and other things that had settled throughout the long winter. Fresh Tech was able to send someone on very short notice and get our apartment cleaned quickly! Faruk was thorough in asking about our location, rooms, and parking and was able to provide accurate pricing. Alicia was polite and comprehensive in her cleaning. We did provide a bucket, our vacuum, and a ladder to help speed the process, though not sure if this changes anything other than availability and turnaround time. Regardless, we'd definitely recommend in the future and will be returning for future cleaning should we need it! read more

I wanted to treat my parents to a move-in clean for their new condo. They ended up needing it much sooner than expected. I was able to book FTM on a Saturday afternoon for a Tuesday morning clean. On Sunday, the company reached out via text as well as called to confirm. They were beyond kind and accommodating throughout the process and my parents were thrilled with the service. They had Haley and thought she was a miracle worker. She was able to make the bathrooms and kitchen appliances look brand new. Cannot recommend this company enough. read more
