I needed our home deep cleaned before Thanksgiving and requested quotes from several companies. I hadn't used a service since Covid, and noted that prices have gone up dramatically. Most were ridiculously too high for our small home; whereas when I mentioned this to Andre, he asked me to call so we could discuss what I wanted. I did that, and he offered a much more reasonable price for my specific needs. The day of, Lori arrived 30 minutes early, which was not a problem since I work from home. She spoke to me in Spanish, listened to what I wanted and got right to work. She had the standard cleaning supplies but didn't have a vacuum, and we have two bedrooms with carpet that needed vacuuming. This was going to be a problem so I let her use ours (an expensive one that only my husband uses) and she did a great job on the carpets. She worked nonstop from the main floor down to the basement where a 2nd full bath, another bedroom and our family room are. She threw away the flowers on my dining room table without asking, and when I asked her why she said the leaves were dying and they were starting to smell. I hadn't noticed that so I was a bit surprised that she would just do this on her own, but I wasn't angry. Our house is otherwise nice and clean for Thanksgiving. She understood exactly what I wanted done and completed it all in the time allotted (3-1/2 hours). She even asked about a quick clean of my office, which was not expected, and she cleaned off the stairs on her way up from the basement. She had emptied every garbage can she found and also offered to take out the two bags of garbage she had accumulated. I instructed her to leave them on our back porch for my husband. I was looking for a black local cleaning service. Andre who was my cleaner was amazing. He was on-time and very polite. I scheduled a deep cleaning which cost me $165. I had scheduled for my front, dining, kitchen, hallway, and 2 bathrooms to be cleaned. It took 4 hours but I would like to say I am satisfied . They are a little on the pricey side for deep cleanings. I can not speak to there other services but definitely give them a shot. Redymaid was hired cleaned my house in April and I will never use them again. Their cleaning was not a cleaning at all. There were so many areas that was untouched and my condo is only a one bedroom. I couldn't even say that they did an adequate job. I have pictures to show the dust under my sofas that was left untouched and all the other areas. There were things that were taken out my tub and left on the sink. I could go on and on. I sent them pics as proof. In addition, they scratched my stainless steel stove. When I text Andre/Ali (still now sure who he is), I told him that my stove was not scratched prior to their visit and that I have a cooking blog and have tons pictures of food on my stove to prove that it wasn't scratched. Now a you expect a business owner to respond professionally (especially since he didn't clean the kitchen, Jazmin did) and maybe say something like "I am so sorry to hear that but let me check with Jazmin, since she cleaned the kitchen, because we normally don't use anything abrasive on stainless steel and I will get back to you. However this was his response verbatim: "Good morning Joy! I was there at the clean. I am Ali. Knowing that we went above the clean in such a tight and cluttered space. We don't use any steel on stainless only magic erasers. We understand that you are very particular about how you like things. Thank you for allowing Redymaid to clean. Have a great day". Let me start by saying, my condo is not big but it is neither tight nor cluttered. However, if that was his opinion of my house, he should have kept that bitchy comment to himself. I emailed him back about his unprofessional response and we went back and forth. Not long after the back-and-forth email exchanges between Ali/Andre and I, I received a voice message from Jazmin apologizing and stating that she did scratch my stove and to please let her know what I want them to do fix it or replace. There is. I fixing for scratches on stainless steel. At least she was honest. However, when they were leaving my house they should have been forthcoming and told me then. Things would not have escalated to the point of where they are now. I am now fighting with their insurance company who wants to give me $250 for my stainless steel stove with built-in microwave oven that cost $1, 947.60 because Redymaid stares to their carrier that my claim is "doubtful and disputed and they want to settle to avoid litigationZ. Life is crazy. Not just now mid-covid, but always. We work. We play. We engage family and friends. We turn ourselves off. We shop from bed. We do so very much. I hired Andre and Redymaid Cleaning to help with some of the doing, namely the cleaning. Then, through a custom consult, we determined that folding laundry could be added to the mix. Side note: folding laundry for me is torture on my psyche and has long been a goal to be more accurate and timely. My therapist told me: if you could remove that barrier to happiness, would you be happy? The answer is no. Happiness is a complicated mistress with plans of her own. Yet, one of her plans for me includes not scheduling a date until my clothes are folded. Only then can she and I see if reservations are available at our favorite metaphysical restaurant. Redymaid heard this and said "yes yes yes, we can clear your path to happiness". The first time Andre came to my home we discussed safety. We also discussed Aristotle, parenting, schedules with an emphasis on mine, and the overall greatness of being. Not in that order. At some point I had to stop so he could work his magic and I could work my work. I felt comfortable and left. When I returned my counters and shelves were adorned with items I felt were lost: an old lanyard from an event, a designer pen, a post-it I wrote a month ago reminding me to look for that lanyard. He was thorough. I had had other cleaning teams in my place, but only he found the hidden secrets, secret even to me. I took a deep breath of lemon and freshness and went about my day. He and I texted and laughed. I zapped him the money, and immediately set up a new appointment. I AM happy now. It isn't because of Andre and Redymaid per se. Although it is adjacent. At 46, I'm a single father with a demanding career and live in Elmhurst. I have dated and had sig others, but my child always comes first. I tell you this because I recently met a girl I care for deeply. It has developed fast and natural and is unlike any other "new" feeling I have ever had, even at 46 with dozens of relationships in this zany transient life. Stating it here is my weird declaration to the world, but only because I feel it is contextual to the over-arching story. I also predict that I won't want to come back and erase this from the internet .... that's how deep the feeling has become. Also, I write it here because I know Andre will read this and be, like, "man, that guy with that weird monkey painting in his home that keeps telling me personal shit is nutty." What does this have to do with Redymaid? Well, you are the second to know. Andre was the first. Soon, she will be the third although I know she already knows. The relationship coincided with Andre entering my home. Coincidence or cause? Why did I feel comfortable talking to him instead of friends and family? Yes, perhaps because of my own strange journey feeling more comfortable talking to acquaintances over equity friendships. But also because his demeanor and work ethic invites openness. That is what led to laundry folding, and yes, potentially my openness to happiness in a way. If not directly, then indirectly like your I-290 lane change effected the entire ecosystem of Chicago in some way, but a way we will never fathom. Andre and I speak briefly as I pack up for remote work in another remote location, but in those fleeting moments, his positive, open and kind communication parallels his cleaning prowess. He works while I talk. He would certainly just say "hey man" and move on to work or continue working if I was ducking out or busy in another way, but I'm inspired by his entrepreneurship and always want to know how it is progressing. That convo leads to others. Eventually, he will own a cleaning empire as a second business, and his daily biz will be helping people in another way. I can only hope that energy is soaking into my sparkling floors and clean, wonderfully stacked piles of children's socks left for me on my made bed Hire him. I'm afraid my experience with Redymaid (Jazmin) mirrors another reviewer's. (And yet I hired them after I read it!) Several rooms were simply untouched (kitchen, dining room, sunroom). In the living room, a cursory dusting of a top shelf was done, but not the shelves below. As my book group gathered round my coffee table (the reason for hiring help), I saw the large glass box on it went undusted. None of the three sinks were cleaned. There may have been further neglect, but the arrival of my mother for a week-long stay to share Thanksgiving prevented me from investigating. This outfit prefers brooms to vacuums. But, brooms don't reach corners where spiders convene and dust bunnies cluster. It's of no matter, however, because no attempt was made to get under the furniture. At what worked out to $54/hour, one would expect very excellent service. This was simply not the case. read more

We used Redymaid for a rental apartment cleaning after our tenant moved out. He had been there 19 years, and though he cleaned the place himself while he lived there, it hadn't gotten a deep cleaning in all that time. Our building is also over 100 years old, so it needed some good care. When I contacted Redymaid, Andre (the owner) responded right away, offering competitive prices and taking the time to assess our needs in a thoughtful manner. He came out within days of our call, showed up early and prepared, and was extremely professional. He ensured he covered all areas of the apartment, checking in with us to make sure he met our needs and was quite thorough. Given how long it had been since the place had gone through this type of cleaning, I wasn't sure how it would turn out (especially since the tenant's furniture hadn't been moved in all that time).
