We've mostly stuck with milk teas, so I can't really speak for the rest of the menu, but the ones we've tried have been tasty (usually taro and thai tea). I wouldn't say the tea itself is particularly high quality or anything that will blow your mind, but it does the job when you're craving a casual milk tea. The tapioca boba has always had the texture it should: nice and chewy without being too hard or mushy, so no complaints there i guess. I also really like that they have stamp cards. I'm a sucker for a loyalty card because it gives me more incentive to stop by whenever I happen to be in Gig Harbor. The shop itself is pretty small, with just a few seats inside, but it usually hasn't been too busy whenever we've visited. There's also a kiosk you can order from. In general, Pearl Tea is a reliable 4-star boba spot for me. Nothing fancy or life-changing, but the drinks are good, the boba is properly chewy, and I would stop by again when I'm in the area.

I was greeted immediately when I walked in and the employee told me they had two açaí bowls - a berry mix and a chocolate berry mix, I choose the chocolate/berry combo. It was prepared right in front of me with all natural ingredients and topped with coconut, granola, banana and almond butter. The açaí base was the perfect consistency - it wasn't half frozen like ice cream or overly soggy. All the ingredients on top, added the extra texture and brought it all together. It was a surprisingly big portion too for $13, and can easily be shared with two people. There is plenty of seating inside with tables and high tops, if you wanted to enjoy a drink or bowl inside.
