If you look at my other reviews, you will see that I have eaten at several pho restaurants in more than 5 states. This place takes 2nd place for the worst I have experienced. I am giving them 2 stars for their rolls. They had a nice varity and I might be back to try them again. Not for their soup. It was that cheap powder based broth with poor quality ingredients. I've had Thai food all around Gig Harbor and this is my FAVORITE place to eat. The beef broth is waaay better then Phó and more. I've had their phó, sandwich and spring rolls and they were all SO GOOD. The price was cheaper then the other places too. It's a win win. read more

This place's my favorite for lunch since it's very close to my work place. Fast, courtesy, friendly service, decent quality, reasonable price. I love their spring rolls and sandwiches a lot. They're also willing to help me customize my orders every time I ask for it. Just let them know if you want to make any unique changes. I tried the fresh shrimp spring rolls and their beef pho. The rice wrapper on the spring rolls was very thick and they were stuffed with mostly lettuce and a small amount of rice noodles and basil. I was disappointed with the rolls due to this. I received the Beef Pho and could tell immediately that the meat was going to be terrible. The pieces were thickly sliced, grey and tasted reheated. Additionally, most of the beef pieces had thick veins of fat running through them, leaving you with only tiny bits of actual edible meat. The broth had a strong clove taste which was interesting but the meat was such a let down that I left most of my soup and left. The service was adequate. No friendly hello or good bye. They brought out your food quickly and the restaurant was clean. Won't be going back. read more

The food here is borderline terrible. The fresh rolls were not very fresh and were made with your standard grocery store BBQ pork instead of fresh pork/shrimp (or tofu) like most restaurants. The same applies to the Bahn Mi - pre-made grocery store BBQ pork on a french roll with pickled vegetables that were past their prime. I didn't try the Pho, but it wasn't served with any of the usual sides and looks basic and bland. The service was also surprisingly slow for take-out given most things are pre-made. I ordered takeout for the first time from here. The pho was delicious and so were the spring rolls. I really liked the peanut sauce they served with the spring rolls. Updating the review as I have been back three times since the initial review for take out only. Each time the order was accurate fast and fresh. I called ahead and the order was ready about five minutes after I got there each time. Now I cannot speak to in-house sit down as I have not been back for that, so I do not know if that service has improved or not, but the accuracy of the orders I received with take out has been correct each time, so I'm assuming they are definitely much more on their game. Meh. The baguette for the Banh Mi was grocery store level - no chew or texture to the inside and no crunch to the exterior. The pork looked like Chinese BBQ pork you pick up from the Safeway deli. The daikon radish had no snap. The sandwich was a soggy mess. The shrimp fresh roll was fine, though the vermicelli noodles were over-soaked IMO. The peanut sauce tasted like it came from a jar. It did not taste fresh and had no kick. This was a carry-out order, and the beef pho suffered from being assembled and sent out in to-go bowls that leaked. The beef, vegetables, and noodles were all sent in the broth; it would have been better to send the broth alone, and let me stir in everything when I got home. No basil, lime, or jalapeño were included. read more

I had the pork sandwich (bahn mi) which was great. There is not a lot of meat in it, so you might want to go for the double meat option. It was still very filling with all of the veggies though. The spring rolls (shrimp) were very good and pretty large too. My daughter had the beef pho, but the broth didn't really have very much flavor, so she wasn't that crazy about it. Just ordered takeout to try this new restaurant for the first time, service was fast, friendly, and they hand made the fresh rolls I ordered right infront of me! Talk about fresh! I ordered tofu vegetable and shrimp fresh rolls and chicken pho. All of which was delicious. I thought 4.99 for some fresh rolls was a little expensive but what I got was 2 HUGE rolls big enough to fill you up, with some great peanut sauce included. Even though a little pricey (but that's a given for anything in gig harbor) it was great. The portion of pho for take out was a little smaller than usual but still a very hefty portion! Wish I could give this place a better review. I got the beef phone. There was about one or maybe 2 ounces of beef. No real vegetables to speak of. The broth was thin and relatively flavorless, despite additional hoisin and Sriracha added in. I may come back and try the other dishes but for now I'm very disappointed. read more

I was so excited that a new place to get Pho was opening and after coming here I am even more excited because it's some of the best Pho I've had and definitely the best in town. Vietnamese fast food that does the job and is cheap as hell. Very friendly service! You don't get the normal pho goodies on the side like basil and lime etc. with your pho because 1) they are already included IN THE BOWL (to the reviewers who complained about this) and 2) if you don't like that, guess what, you only paid $5 and you aren't in Vietnam, you are in Gig Harbor, and that is CHEAP for a bowl pho in privileged white suburbia. Especially a big enough bowl to be full. The bahn mi is also $5 and is more than good enough which still blows my mind. There are very few meals that can satisfy for $5. Is it the BEST pho or bahn mi you'll EVER HAVE? Is it something you'd get IN Vietnam? No, of course it isn't, but it is well worth $5 and is better than any American fast food you'll eat for cheaper than McDonald's if you're craving Vietnamese. I've tried the fresh rolls as well and they are also perfectly good. Mind you, none of these people giving low star reviews are actually Vietnamese, as far as I can tell from their white ass names they are all white as hell and really angry when actual Vietnamese people serve them food that isn't "authentic" enough. I'm probably the only Asian writing a review. Come to this place if you want Vietnamese and want something cheap and good enough. Like fast food. Don't get greedy and expect top quality food for paying almost nothing. If you want better quality, you need to pay more, go to the international district and brave the "okay" government food safety ratings, befriend a Vietnamese cook, or go to a third world country where authentically poor people serve your white ass. I recommend Lotus Vietnamese food in West Seattle/Burien if you want something better and are willing to pay more. read more

This is easily the worst Pho I have ever had. Tiny bowls with super cheep noodles. I did not like that they added automatically all the veggies that should come on the side in a traditional Pho restaurant. The salmon spring rolls were dry and flavorless. The tofu tasted just like dish water. The water was warm (seriously, add some ice), the silverware was dirty, the napkin holders were all empty. It cost me $40 to feed the family and we all left hungry and dissatisfied. PhoEverWok is not very good either, but it is better then this crap. read more

The Spring Roll I ordered was good, however when I ordered the Lemongrass noodle bowl and it had peppers in it (I am allergic to peppers and it was not soecified in the menu or I wouldnt have ordered it), I informed one of the male employees and they were open to giving me the $7 back.. and I was satisfied with that. But as we were doing the exchange, the female employee came out from the back room and told me abruptly there were no peppers in the dish and I told her there were and she was still not believing me, so I had to take the dish over to her and show her the peppers in the tofu and the sauses and by this point I was feeling really embarassed that she was not believing me. All the employees saw the peppers in the dish, and finally the male employee returned my $7 and I was able to leave. I felt uncomfortable with this ladies customer service skills and will not be returning to this establishment. read more

The ingredients in the fresh rolls were good, the pho was pleasantly less salty than most places. The bubble tea and peanut sauces were only mediocre though.
