I was craving something light and fresh, but full of flavor. I have drove by Fresh Rolls in the plaza before and wanted to fill my fresh craving with some spring rolls. I was able to order online using the Yelp app. I ordered shrimp spring rolls, a lemongrass beef bahn mi sandwich, and my husband ordered the salmon spring rolls and a BBQ chicken rice bowl. Ordering through the app didn't exactly update when my order was ready, so I arrived too early since it said an estimated time it would be ready and didn't update. The staff were nice about it, but it did take a minute to get my order. The food was delicious! As expected, the spring rolls were fresh. It came with a yummy peanut sauce to dip, but were perfect as is too. The lemongrass beef bahn mi was incredible! I cut it in half at home so it was easier to eat. The vegetable mix on top was tangy and a great balance to the savory meat. Will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Amazing place!! Every time I get food here it is so tasty and fresh.I will forever recommend this to my friends. Although - I have food allergies and recently haven't had super good luck with that when ordering food online! I asked for no peanuts on my noodle dish and there was peanuts sprinkled on top anyways. I had ordered two plates of lemon grass noodles for a friend and I but had to give my food away due to my allergy. Peanuts were placed on both meals even though I had put a note in the order for them to be left out completely/: big bummer. But don't let this deter you! Authentic is the best way to describe it, and if the Spring rolls appear a little pricey at first, they're worth it! And they're huge! Soooo worth the price. I do not like leaving negative reviews. I have been to this Fresh Rolls a couple of times previously. The counter service is always very nice, but the food is always an "ok", maybe a 3. However on this last visit when I ordered egg rolls, they had one, as in one egg roll in the place. It was only 5pm. I also ordered Won Ton soup which was dreadful. Only took a few bites. I cannot verify that my upset stomach was due to my visit, but I did have an uneasy stomach after my visit. Sorry wont be back. read more

Food came out fast. 8$ for pork banh mi. They literally used Chinese pork with the red around it and heated it up in bbq sauce. It was the worst banh mi I've ever had. The restaurant feels run down. Ate there for the first time yesterday. Had the beef Banh Mi. It had all the flavor you would expect from a higher priced restaurant at less than $10. This will be one of my regular stops, probably once per week. They need to update the pictures on their own website. Their beef Banh Mi was a bowl, I think with noodles. But it actually came as a sandwich, which is what I found when I googled the dish. So I was not surprised. And the bread was fluffy and fresh tasting. Staff very friendly. I've eaten here several times now and the food is consistently tasty. The staff is always friendly and ready with a smile. I've always ordered takeout, and my food has been ready within 10 minutes. Ambiance is bland but clean. Shrimp fresh rolls are good with all the classic ingredients, but sometimes have been very loosely rolled and difficult to eat because they easily fall apart. The peanut sauce is a bit pasty for my taste, but hasn't stopped me from dunking! I ordered lemongrass tofu salad on one occasion. It was decent, but not crave worthy imo. But, the BBQ chicken bahn mi? That's an entirely different story. Definitely crave worthy! The bread is shatteringly crisp but soft under the crust, the chicken is moist and tender (tastes freshly prepared), the BBQ sauce lends just the right amount of sweetness, and jalapeño peppers add perfect spice to this sandwich. Ordered from DoorDash. Laid up at home not feeling great so I wanted some pho. Normally ordering pho to go, all the ingredients come separately so it doesn't get soggy or over cooked. Everything was thrown into one container so the noodles were soggy, the beef was over cooked & dry, and the broth had no flavor. The spring rolls are mediocre at best. I've had the Lemongrass Tofu Noodle bowl which I loooove, it tastes fresh and is well balanced and the dressing is a little bit spicy which is perfect for me. If I could make one recommendation it would be to have more fried veggie rolls, the last time I was here they had one which I bought of course (they chopped it up and put it on top of my noodle bowl which made a lovely garnish and added nice crunch) but the other two times I've been here they only had the meat fried rolls. Oh the girls here are just adorable! Super friendly and helpful. I had the bubble tea or "Boba" and it's super weird if you've never had it before. But super yummy. I had the matcha lychee and OMG! So good. If you are caffeine sensitive, be super careful. It'll get your motor revved!! And the little bobbles are so good but really oddly textured. they make some really excellent Spring rolls , nothing special but GOOD. Super disappointed. This used to be my number one pho joint in Gig Harbor, given that you could get a bowl for $5. It wasn't the best pho, but it was hot and cheap and hit the spot. Within the last week, the price has been bumped to $7.50, and the pho has actually gotten worse. Less broth, more watered down, less meat and fewer noodles. At a lower cost, it's easy to overlook that they only use watery powder chicken broth with for every type of meat, the rolls are not fresh (ironically), they never have boba even though it's on the menu and frequently asked for, the place is not usually clean, and that the wait is kind of long.
