The shrimp were small, overcooked, and could have used more seasoning. I did like the addition of purple cabbage, and their salsa verde helped add more flavor to the burrito. For the portion and quality of the shrimp, I also felt the burrito and their taco plate was overpriced. Overall, my recent experience was disappointing compared with my first visit.

They have a menu with offerings that can be hard to find - including tacos de lengua. La Plancha is a great place to grab a plate of good Mexican food for whatever you're doing in the Harbor.

Steve and I went here a little while back when we were paying a visit to Gig Harbor, looking up an old friend. We wanted some beer and it we were also hungry so it proved to be convenient to get some hamburgers here. I got the Galley Burger which proved to be a good hamburger with thousand island, bacon, carmelized onions, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and American Cheese. Steve got the Garden Burger which was also quite good. We split a nice amount of fries to share which were prepared quite well. So all in all a good meal. I also see that they have Panini sandwiches which were a frequent temptation of mine in the past so perhaps in the future I will explore that part of the menu some more. The wait was a bit long for the food to arrive. But the taproom was booming and there were very few places to sit so I imagine they were having to adapt to the large customer volume. I had the boat over there by about 10;00 AM. Neko (not sure of the spelling) installed it in about 4 hours, which was less than quoted. Nearly 10 minutes passed before we were acknowledged, and another 10 before we were told she would be with us shortly. When my order was finally made, it was incorrect. Before I could let them know that I was fine with the mistake, the drink was dumped and remade, adding even more to the wait time. Unfortunately, the remake was also incorrect--this time missing the powder flavoring I had originally requested--resulting in a plain shake. Given the extended wait, the lack of customer service, and the price point, I cannot justify returning. I value supporting small businesses, but this experience demonstrated why many customers turn to chain establishments that have the staffing and systems to provide consistent service.
