We took our food and drinks to go - two English Toffee Chai lattes and breakfast burritos. The drinks were delicious, not too sweet and spiced chai. Mmm. The burritos are a good size for the price, and it comes with a side of salsa. They have different burrito and sandwich types - sausage, bacon, egg, etc. The staff is friendly and was quick with our order. This coffee shop has a lot of variety that will keep us coming back!

When we walked up to the checkout, the cashier and the employee bagging groceries were engaged in a conversation and laughing together. We completely understand that employees interact with one another, but once customers are at the register, they should feel acknowledged. Unfortunately, neither employee looked up, smiled, greeted us, or said a single word during the transaction. The only thing the cashier said was while handing me the receipt, and it was so quiet I couldn't even understand what was said. The lack of even basic acknowledgment made us feel like an interruption rather than valued customers. Metropolitan Market has always had a reputation for exceptional service, which is why this experience was so surprising and disappointing. I hope this was simply an isolated incident, but it's something management should be aware of.

I love that the PB cookie has both peanut butter chips and chopped Virginia peanuts in it and if you time it right their cookies are still warm like it is right out of the oven ! One of the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had! BTW My review is based solely on their freshly baked cookies.
