Finholm's has a lot of history in this neighborhood and there is a nearby sign where you can read up on some of it. Inside the store I wouldn't exactly call it a full fledged supermarket but there are plenty of snacky items and the beer selection is great! There are a lot of brands of beer that aren't commonly seen in the area so if you are into craft beer there is a lot to check out! But not only that they have beers on tap that you can enjoy as well and hang out there! There is a place that serves food inside. It's a waffle shop in which you can get sweet or savory waffles. That place has it's own Yelp entry and I will write a review for that in the near future. But definitely check out Finholm's and read up on it's history... it's pretty interesting!

You have to go inside and give the person behind the counter your pump and rewards number, then a prepay gas amount. They only charge you for your gas pumped. It's kind of a pain, but it's worth it for $1/gallon savings. Gas station was clean and staff friendly. They have a nice variety of snacks and even have a sub sandwich shop inside. And I'll do it again. The bagels are that good. Whether I'm calling it breakfast or lunch depends entirely on the day, but this is one of those places where I already know the trip is worth it before I leave the house. The line can be long and yes, sometimes they sell out. That's the risk you take. Consider it part of the experience. If the line is out the door, get in it. My daughter got a bagel with the vegan avocado schmear which was OK but I was quite disappointed after we left and opened my bag to find a plain bagel with the vegan cream cheese not on it but instead in a small container cold. Sounds silly, but part of the enjoyment of getting a bagel out is that you get a warm bagel and you have vegan cream cheese spread on it, which warms it up a little bit and makes it taste better. It was such a bummer to not have it spread on and even more so because I didn't have a knife to spread it (we were traveling and I didn't know it was on the side so I didn't grab a knife from the place). Would suggest having any vegan spread on the bagel :)
