Let me say that I love, Love doughnuts and can safely say I dislike mochi. I'm always willing to try something new and the idea of this food mashup sounded interesting to me. And so I ordered the 3 piece mochinut box to get the full experience ( original glaze, churro, and milk tea). One of the things I don't like about mochi is the gummy chewy texture and so I had to clear my mind of those thoughts before taking my first bite...to be fair to the experience. I'm happy to say, mochinuts don't have that sort of texture or mouth feel however they were not cake like or even pillowy like some doughnuts can be. The flavors were good, the right amount of sugariness and familiarity in what they described. That said, I'd never consider having this for breakfast (with my coffee)...it's just too different from a cake style doughnut or any sort of doughnut like an apple fritter or bear claw or a muffin/scone. For me, it's more like a dessert and maybe better paired with ice cream versus coffee. Lastly, the service was fast as you would expect from a walk up situation. We sat down and ate our mochinuts which are soft and chewy with a great texture and they taste just as advertised. They're a great sugary treat to offset some carb heavy noodles from the nearby stall. They're even better warmed up a little bit with a glass of milk at home if you're willing to wait a little bit. Sad to see that they'll be going but hopefully they can keep a spot in the neighborhood.

I ordered donut holes, a cinnamon twist, a cake donut, and two kolaches. She didn't give me my donut holes. So I paid $12 for two kolaches and two donuts. Seems kind of high. I wouldn't really know because I didn't get a receipt. The kolaches didn't taste as good as they used to, I won't be going back.
