For an appetizer, I had a dozen of their chargrilled oysters. You can see the smoke and smell them cooking them on the way in. They have this amazing butter sauce packed with tons of flavor and it is served with their French bread to soak up that butter! Some other appetizers we got were their fried eggplant with marinara sauce and their buffalo wings which are so good. For my main entree, I got their blackened shrimp pasta which was seasoned well and came with garlic bread. My twin got their hamburger steak and it was delicious. Some drinks I got for the night were their old fashioned and their Long Island iced tea. The ambiance is nice and perfect for a family outing or to celebrate graduation in my case. The shrimp had a big shrimp on top of the bite that I took, under it were several smaller shrimp, completely dry, stuck together. And they ... crunched. I spit them out, they tasted like dried, week old shrimp. Simply awful. I love a night out for dinner but I literally lost my appetite. The restaurant response was as bad. While the better/server was polite, it took a very long time to be greeted and seated and to get food ordered and brought to the table. When it did, everything fried was super salty like a salt block salty. My rice barely had any salt or seasoning and my oxtails weren't very tender and the sauce tasted like out came out of a jar in the store. We were the only ones in there so I just don't know.
