When a half hour before the delivery time, the order had not progressed in the system, I phoned the store, and while on hold, I received a cancellation notice. Desperate for help to rescue this dinner delivery, I spoke with the manager, Jacie. Not only did she handle my issue with calm and understanding, she sought an immediate fix and sent one of her staff members to make the delivery. Big fan of cowboy chicken! The food is always cooked well and the sides are delish. The place is always pretty clean and service is reasonable. We usually order the 3-pc dark, half chicken, or whole chicken. I've found their basic chicken dishes are much better than anything else. On Mondays, they offer a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree. We typically can feed our family of 4 (with slight leftovers) for $30, which is pretty budget friendly when not cooking at home, especially given the quality of food. My kids enjoy watching the rotisserie.... in a way, it's nice that there isn't a playground so my kids stay focused on eating. Cowboy Chicken is pretty consistent, and the sides are surprisingly good. We like the mac n cheese, love the fries, like the okra, beans, and yellow rice. It's always clean and peaceful there also. We like to dine in and try all the different juices. My favorite is the strawberry lemonade. The price of the whole chicken is around $11 or so so we typically get 2 whole chickens, cut, and a texas side size. Which allows us to feed ojr family of 6 (4 littles under 8 years old and 2 adults) under $30. The ppl who work there are nice! read more

I have visited this location only one time prior and that was to pick up the rotisserie chicken that my parents absolutely love. Today I decided to have lunch in the restaurant. I had the 3 chicken enchiladas with Mexican street corn and Spanish rice. I also had the homemade lemonade. The tomatillo sour cream sauce has a very fresh and slightly spicy bite, which pairs perfectly with the white meat chicken. The Spanish rice was a bit dry but still had an overall nice flavor. I was disappointed in the Mexican street corn as this is one of my fav sides whenever I eat Mexican dishes. It was not fresh so the corn was a bit hard in texture and the cilantro had wilted to the point that it lost most of its flavor. The homemade lemon taste really good so I had to get a quick refill on my way out. The restroom and dining area itself was very clean. The staff was also very friendly. read more

The advertised "baked" Mac N Cheese was not baked at all but actually a mixture of macaroni noodles and basic orange colored cheese sauce. It also had a little tartness to it. The "twice baked potatoes" were nothing more than has browns mixed with melted cheese and butter. Great part is, I was able to FULLY ENJOY my roll! AMAZING!! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and our order taken. Only for the food to quickly come out and brought to us. Even though all the napkins, straws, and condiments are all grab-able to customers, the waiter who brought us our food still offered to get us any of the things we could have easily grabbed ourselves. Went here a lot when I was in college 2 years ago. The food never disappoints and the atmosphere inside is like home to me. I never encountered a problem with the actual staff, management is a different story but the sweet girls in the front are always helpful and quick. Food was good but over priced for the small portions and don't get me started on the child's menu. My boys are 8 and that portion would have maybe fed a 2 year old and again over priced for that. We ended up feeding our boys off our plates as well. A suggestion would be to make two children's menu ages 1 to 5 and another one ages 6 to 12 and make the portions accordingly for those ages. It's almost the end of September of 2020 and we are still dealing with COVID restrictions. Several restaurants have enabled online ordering and this is one of them (although, I'm not sure if they already had it in place pre-COVID). The fams and I were shopping at Target and knew we'd be hungry afterwards. It was close to dinner time for us anyway, so I placed the order; fairly quickly, while shopping at Target. It was about 4:30pm and I requested (online) for the order to be ready by 5:00pm. Yup, I had ordered and paid online! Once I got there, I gave them my name and gave the gentleman a cash tip. I had gotten there right at 5:00 and the order was not quite ready yet, but with all going on these days, I knew patience was a virtue. It was just about a 10-minute wait and my order was fully ready. I paid about $45 worth of food that I knew could feed my family (of 3) for dinner and lunch the next day and still have a bit leftover. The customer service is great and the food is tasty! I do wish they had tortillas instead of bread though. I think chips & salsa is an option... hmmmm, maybe next time. I ordered enough chicken & sides for 6 people + a Bolero bowl (which is a chicken breast bowl with corn, Spanish rice, veggies and ranchero beans). We all love the corn fritters and yams as a side. Everything was so great, tasty and filling. Yup, lots of leftovers! If you're looking for something healthy and delicious, visit Cowboy Chicken for your next lunch or dinner.
