Fluffy, snow-soft ice piled with real mango cubes and a milk drizzle on top - and even in the single-serving cup size, it was seriously worth it. We also tried the green tea bingsu, topped with matcha powder and mochi, which was solid but the mango stole the spotlight for me. Pro tip: the single size is pretty generous on its own, so unless you're trying to sample a few flavors, one cup does the job. We split two just to try different options and it worked out great for that! Parking along the street was hit or miss, but we went pretty late at night so it wasn't too bad. Sweet, refreshing, and exactly what a summer night calls for - will def be back to try more flavors, like the melon or strawberry!

We were done about an hour before our reservation time. We hoped to be accommodated earlier but saw the long line and crowd waiting as we drove by. We decided to run a couple small errands instead. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation. It was still busy, but there were not as many people waiting. The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. She gave me her business card with an offer to contact her directly should we need another reservation. On our way out, I stopped to compliment the sweet young hostess for a job well done. Wonderful experience. Beautiful decor. I would give Oh La La 10 stars if I could! We will most certainly be back!

I originally stopped by to pick up their famous cinnamon roll, which made the lists for top 10 cinnamon rolls in LA County. Unfortunately, they didn't have any cinnamon rolls the two times I stopped by. (I think it had something to do with how their AC is currently out and awaiting repairs). Not wanting to leave empty handed, I decided to get a few slices of cake instead. And boy am I glad I did! So far I've tried their red velvet cake, vanilla cake with strawberry frosting, and a seasonal strawberry cake. The cakes were all rich and on the denser side, and were a cross between moist and crumbly. Each cake also paired exceptionally well with the velvety thick frosting. So the backup plan was a rousing success, as all three cake slices were fabulously indulgent and the perfect treat. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. We ordered two soft serve cones ($5 each), a lemon and strawberry. These are made by a machine with syrup / gel to add flavor automatically. The ice cream was serviceable but unremarkable, with a very synthetic flavor to it. Service was friendly, standard, and the inside clean but fairly bare. No seating yet there was some space for it. A couple tables inside and out would go a long way. Prices reasonable for the middling quality. I won't down vote Red Peach too much since their specialty is cakes but the ice cream option here struck me as tacked on and very generic. Nothing homemade here sadly.
