The rice was incredibly soft but I do wish there was just a little bit more of it. This plate also came with a cup of warm miso soup. An incredible amount of delicious food for around 20 bucks. Well worth it. The ordering process was really simple. They'll call your number over the loud speaker so you don't have to be near the restaurant and can wait at your table. I do feel like their menu options have dwindled in the past few years, and sometimes they are sold out of/don't have some of their menu options available. The taste of the curry is nice, and has a nice blend of spices. I think their protein options are good as well, and I like their house spice blend. I think the portion size is also fair. I just don't feel like it's worth $20 a dish. If each protein-containing dish were $15, I'd have given this place four stars. We ordered the Clay Pot Steamed Rice Combo that comes with any clay pot rice, any clay pot soup, and a drink (herbal jelly or iced lemon tea). We got the Cantonese Cured Meat with Steamed Rice Clay Pot and the Coconut Soup with Silke Chicken. The Cured Meat was tasty, and I like that you get some gai lan with it. The soup wasn't really my taste, but it did taste warm and nourishing. I got the Daily Combo Special which comes with an Omelet Curry Rice, Tonkatsu or Chicken Katsu and an iced lemon tea or soda. It also comes with a side salad. The katsu itself was decent, but the omelet egg is not seasoned at all. It really needs to curry sauce to go with it. Overall, not bad. Probably closer to 3.5 stars?
