He was very knowledgeable, professional, respectful and educated me on each step of the work done. He took pictures of each area as he addressed it and explained their function. I am new to handling the caring of my heating and cooling system. In addition to a part requiring replacement he took the time to set up my thermostat and explain the options. Beware! Freschi Air Service Experts operates more like a sales company than an HVAC service provider. We initially signed up for their membership program for regular maintenance, but our experience has been extremely disappointing. Rather than service our system, their main concern is sending a Home Health Report stating you need to buy a brand new system. During a recent service call, they sent Hugo Coyac, who was both unprofessional and dismissive. Our HVAC system was fully functional before his visit, yet it stopped working immediately after. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told our "only option" was to purchase a new system due to age. This left us without AC for four days during 100-degree weather. A local independent technician later restored our unit in less than an hour by simply replacing dirty coils and replenishing 2lbs of Freon--basic services Freschi failed to provide us over this past year. This made it clear their priority is selling expensive replacements, NOT solving problems. Freschi Air Service pressures homeowners, disregards customer concerns, and sends salespeople rather than qualified technicians. I urge homeowners to seek out smaller, owner-operated companies that focus on honest service and customer education. We will never use Freschi again. They should take Experts out of their name and replace it with Salespeople. Do not recommend; do not waste your time. read more

I bought a new unit in 2022 from this company because their sales rep had prompt answers for all our questions. While preparing my house for sale, we had a home inspection and learned that the furnace installation is out of building code compliance and represents a fire hazard. Called the company to address the issue only to learn that they do not honor their "ultimate labor warranty" sold to me as a benefit by their sales rep. Worse than it, they do not care about the issue that they created by poor workmanship and lack of knowledge of the building code. Avoid this company for you own safety. But because they were highly rated by the Better Business Bureau and the reviews were good. I figured I'd give them a shot. To no avail the day they were supposed to arrive. I had a funny feeling and I called and they said I canceled the appointment the same day I made it. They gave me a phone number that wasn't mine and when I called the girls name was no one in this house. I made another appointment for three days later and they called and changed the appointment to a day later. They called the day before the appointment and canceled and said that their machine broke down and they didn't know when they would be available. Needless to say, I fired them. They were very high priced compared to other companies. I don't know how they ever got a five star rating. You have a customer service person that makes an appointment for the next day for me because we had an air conditioner die on the hottest day of the year. What a wonderful experience to be able to get an appointment the next day. We wait... we wait the whole day until 3:15. Hmmm my instinct tells me to call at 3:15 and confirm. That's when I get the news. The news that the appointment was set, and then cancelled soon after?!?!??!!! What!?!!?!! I got a text confirmation with my appointment specifics. I got no cancellation notification? I told the customer service person or whoever she is that I never cancelled. I would have worked on looking for a different company all day for this emergency repair, instead of waiting for an appointment that doesn't exist. INSTEAD I TRUSTED reviews...I trusted this text confirmation....I trusted that someone would come. This open 24 hours is a fake gimmick. Update: after 17 years, these units need to be replaced. I cut into the drywall to reveal the condensate drain line only to discover that the installers included an upward slope in the drain line which prevented this particularly unit from ever draining fully. This completely explains why this particular unit was always a bit funky. the worst part is, when these were installed, the tech had 100% access to the wall front and back as it was just studs. For me nothing in this business runs cohesively. I talk to one person that transfers me to the wrong place or doesn't really know what they're doing or how to handle the call. Asking for a technician that has the knowledge to work on a building we've had serviced for 15+ years is slim to none. I would say 2 out of 10 times, we had someone who seemed to know what they were doing which is a shame. This company is not a good company to work with. We had multiple units needing repair on our property. The company sent two guys to do a one man job. of course we were charged double labor. One of our units still don't work after paying over 3000$ for repairs. I knew more about the units than their techs did. The techs misquoted the charges and we paid more than was reasonable for the repairs completed. We thought we had it resolved with the main office only to have a local guy harass us to pay additional money for the repairs that were never completed. Incompetent, overpriced and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Yes we paid an additional 800plus dollars in protest and that's the cost of this review. RUN! BUYER BEWARE!! This company forced me to clean my crawlspace for $2500 before they would do the duct work I needed.... so I got it cleaned and they went down there on their scheduled day and said "it is too wet" and refused to do the job... it is now approx a year later and the job has not been completed and Dave my job manager won't pick up the phone!!!! Had these guys come out last year to give me an estimate to do some duct work as I had some insulation coming into the vents in the house. Told me in order to do the job I would have to get my crawlspace cleaned because their guys would not work in the crawlspace the way it was" even though we have a lined crawlspace. So we needed to now deal with that. Guess what? Not a lot of companies clean crawlspaces. They are partnered with Crawlspace Clean and told me to have them do it. So I called them and had them give me an estimate. Ended up being approx $2,500. INSANE!! So after debating if I can afford to get the crawlspace cleaned AND have the duct work done. I decide although it will be a huge stretch it is necessary and will be an investment. So I reluctantly end up having the crawlspace cleaned (even though we were in no financial position to pay $2,500 for a crawlspace to be cleaned... ) and we reschedule the duct work. The day comes to have the duct work done and Service Experts has their guys go under the house and they say they can't do it because it is too wet"!!! Are you kidding me? At this point, I am so frustrated and angry at what I have had to go thru just to get some duct work done. My tenant was also not happy about having people coming and going constantly and under the house etc... So, my point of contact who has been working with me this whole time- promises me this job will get done - NO MATTER WHAT" and that "my price is "LOCKED IN" so we decide to wait a while until after my tenant was supposed to move out. My tenant ends up not moving out and we have to file an eviction to get him out. However/ my rep assures me that the job will be done whenever I am ready. He promises me over and over. Its the least they can do after having me pay $2,500 for the crawlspace to be cleaned, right? Well, fast forward to now. My tenant has finally moved out and my rep from Service Experts has not answered a single text from me since the beginning of April. I tried calling yesterday and the phone was off Or I have been blocked....are you kidding me? That is UNBELIEVABLE! Completely unprofessional and disgusting. I will be forced to escalate this matter with the BBB (and other places such as a courthouse...) if this work does not get done after paying to have my crawlspace to the tune of $2500 and then having a SCHEDULED job not get done because "it is too wet"...... and having a rep continuously promise me that the job will get done at the rate he quoted me. The following week after deciding on Option 2 (single stage heater and a/c unit from Lennox) we made the appointment for Mike, Oliver and Larry to come in around 9 am to install the equipment. The crew arrived on time and I was able to explain my requirements to place the outside condenser/compressor as close to the wall as possible which they were able to accommodate while maintaining the building codes. Brandon from Archon which is a third party vendor came in to inspect the installation as it was close to getting done and walked me through a checklist which included detailed instructions for obtaining a permit from the City. The work was performed professionally and the new system is working great. I did get another collection letter, when I returned from Thanksgiving. No, response to the letter I sent the company on 11/11/21. I read a review about this business about how they charged $250 for an assessment and recommended changing out an old AC unit and it was "broken beyond repair." Well they quoted me 5k per unit. I refused their offer and hired someone who fixed my u it for $180 and it's cool as ice in my home. This is such a rip off company... they just want to charge a service charge and then don't really do a proper assessment. If they had morals they would refund my assessment fee but they have done no such thing. Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere. I purchased a new HVAC system and it was installed on June 29, 2023. The technician was here from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. trying to make adjustments to make it fit in the closet. After he left I looked it over and found the air intake to be badly installed. I called the office on July 7th to request a supervisor. He came and said that the area item needed replacement. He promised to have the office schedule the replacement. I never received a call. Long story made short: They repeatedly called but as soon as I picked up, they hung up. I called again on August 14th to tell them I would file a complaint if it wasn't taken care of by the end of the week. They set up an appointment for today, August 17th from 12 to 4. I get a call at 4:10 from the technician saying he needs to reschedule. I ask for a specific date and time and he could only tell me "tomorrow" and didn't know a time. read more

He told me I needed all new components and He recommended a new system for $8000. I had another company come out, and replace one part and my system is back up and running. First time they sent someone out, the person was not great; he did not solve the problem and gave me incorrect info about air filters. But when I called on a Sunday and said this AC is still broken, they sent Hugo out that afternoon and he not only troubleshot and fixed the issue, he didn't charge me for another call--because he said that the issue should have been fixed the first time. He also swapped my incorrectly sized air filters with the right sized ones. Hugo was great! And Freschi was responsive. Hence the 5 stars. read more

So yeah, we decided to replace our 1991/1998 heater and A/C. YIKES! It was time. After interviewing a handful of companies, we chose Freschi Service Experts. Ace was our representative and he was great. He came over, gave his recommendation, and quoted us on the spot. Ace had great knowledge of the equipment Freschi offers, and their installation process (my husband wanted to ensure our ducts would be addressed too!). We got the mac daddy A/C, and the mid-grade heater. Ace upgraded us, at no additional cost, to a special fine particle filter, and a complete duct cleaning. Ric, Will, Sergio and Vincent were our install crew; and they were wonderful. On time, courteous, and worked very hard. After learning one of our children suffers from allergies, Ric included a special UV light to our unit (improves indoor air quality and kills any mold or bacteria). Talk about care!! On the flip side, there was a little miscommunication regarding the duct cleaning/repair (incorrect scheduling, and then subpar cleaning/sealing). However, after discussing my dismay, Freschi went way above and beyond to ensure I was 100% satisfied. Thank you Shannon, Will and Ric!! Need less to say, we are super happy we chose Freschi and highly recommend them. PS, Freschi has special 0% interest financing for 5 years through a third party. After that you pay for the Turne-up, Last time they come here for my Furnace and they forgot the filters. Last weekend I schedule a tuneup for my Furnace on Sunday they scheduled for that, I was curious because I didn't know that they work on Sunday. My time it was between 10 to 12 AM. I waited two hours then when they didn't show up and They don't call me so I called the office. The lady that receive my called me They don't work on Sundays, I was very pissed off because I wasted my day. So I schedule another time so the company give me Monday at between 4 and 6 Pm Well I'm Monday they call me up and tell me they overbook Monday they have to Cancel my appointment. I have been a 25 year customer with Feschi's Service Experts. That does not happen because I don't have the energy to look around or have some first hand knowledge of HVAC. Freschi's was suggested to me by a satisfied customer 25 years ago. 23 years ago, Freschi's replaced the heater/air conditioner. This unit is working up to manufactures specifications, despite its 23 years of age because of Freschi's quality workmanship. It has exceeded its life expectancy with flying colors because of Freschi's by at least 6 years! Time is quickly approaching for yet another replacement. When the decision is made, I only need make one call. There is no other competition in the market in my eyes! Freschi's already has the contract as far as we are concerned! Jose the project coordinator and Daniel the maintenance tech came by to give me an estimate for repairing our ducts after it was revealed by our home inspector and foundation repair crew that they had leaks. Jose and Daniel are very friendly and more importantly they did a very thorough assessment of the duct system as well as inspection of my hvac/furnace. I am familiar with hvac systems so as they summarized their findings, I knew that they are very knowledgeable of their craft.
