During a horrible heatwave last summer our AC stopped blowing cold air. I called a few HVAC companies but had to leave messages. Mario was the only one who called back and came out same day. He came out and took a look and told my husband that the capacitor needed to be replaced. He said he would gladly do it for $400+. Be careful with Mario. First of all he doesn't use scales when doing refill of the A/C system with refrigerant. Honest contractors always use scales. It means he just overcharged us. Second is the price of R22 refrigerant is $140/lb and it's a lot. Quick search in internet can give you $40/lb. That's a hell of a markup! Giving two stars, not one, just because he came the same day. Take 3 starts off for trustworthiness. So, just stay away. read more

Mario was great. Explained everything he did and gave a fair price. He originally just filled our refrigerant but two days later it was out again. We had a very old system so it was time to replace it. We had actually been told by another company about three years ago that we would need to replace it that year so I'm happy it lasted as long as it did. Mario knocked a lot off for the installation since the original fix didn't work. Him and his brother worked hard all day and part of the next day to get it done. I have a house that I'm renting out and it just happened that the thermostat breaks on me during a walk thru with the new tenant. I reached out to mechanics nearby my area on a Friday when my furnace/heater stopped working. Mario responded very quickly and provided a cheap consultation price. He was able to come by on Monday morning. Inspected the furnace, explained my options to me very clearly, and gave me the pricing for each option (which seemed fair and reasonable). We figured since the furnace was very old, we would go ahead and replace the furnace altogether instead of just fixing the blower/fan, which was the component that had stopped working. Do your self a favor don't use the company I am currently taking this company to court for fraud of course they are same day service that's how the take total advantage of people ethically the worst to deal with basically dishonest and crooked if u decide to use them anyway I would record everything he does We called him out cause are ac unit would not turn on one day not that it was not cold but it would not turn on Mario came out check it said it needed an electric starter we approved it for 550 then he said he would check are refrigerant level and said it was low couple pounds but he did not have refrigerant on truck we would have to call back for that another trip and house call charge hmm well we did not do that because it was blowing cold. 2 weeks later it was blowing hot we called him out again now he said it had a leak and wanted to sell a new unit 5000 dollars I said for now just fill it. He charged for ten pounds refrigerant I watched him put it in no scale asked how he knew it was ten pounds he said he could feel the difference in the can ridicule's as I thought about it later in my research he should have used a scale anyway he charged 900 more for that call after he left I went and looked at it and noticed it had a plastic cap on fittings I went to google and found this was a big No no it should be cooper or brass sealing cap I went and got a got one Cap from home depot installed it and monitored the ac temp 3 moths later still blows cold 56 degrees out of vents so I decided that was enough time to test it once first time after he left it was completely empty after 2 weeks. Welp..sadly our leak was beyond repair and after just a day or two we were in the same boat of a problem with no AC and we made the decision to go ahead and take the plunge into a new system. Mario was once again right on top of it, replying within minutes to let us know how sorry it was that the smaller investment wasn't the answer, and even kind enough to knock the entire cost of the previous work off of the new job since it was too far gone to hold a fix. That spoke volumes to me on his compassion for others. I appreciated it very much. As for the new unit and that job, the reason for a 2nd review, here we go! Mario and his co-workers were here on time, worked efficiently, organized, and had great respect for our home and property. You wouldn't even know he had been here working afterward as it looked exactly as it did when he arrived, just with a beautiful new system :D Cleaning up after one's self is another big plus for me, because it's not an area I've been lucky in with other companies over the years lol, so I appreciated that they took the time to really do a detailed job of it. Mario truly cares for his clients and loves what he does. He even went as far as to come back to my home when I thought something wasn't working correctly and I couldn't find my husbands tools to check the two things myself re: the AC, on a Saturday evening, having to leave his family to come to ensure that it wasn't something with the new unit.
