Corn Crepe - A close-up image of a corn crepe topped with cherry tomatoes, corn kernels, chopped vegetables, and leafy greens. The crepe has a golden-brown edge and is presented on a white plate, with a wooden surface visible in the background. The toppings include fresh cherry tomatoes, corn, and greens, creating a colorful and textured dish.

This place is so good! The chefs are amazing and the service is great too! Everything tastes so fresh. Try the tomato peach blue cheese salad, it's delicious. I had a corn crepe that was to die for. Husband had chicken pilliard which was also amazing. Will definitely come back when in the area.

A close-up of a burger featuring a shiny, toasted bun and fresh green lettuce on a white plate. In the background, there are plates of French fries with dipping sauce, a sandwich, and a glass of ice water on a wooden table. The setting appears to be a casual dining restaurant.

**** A delightful experience... a fresh new choice for us, and we were not disappointed! Our server (Rachel) and her support staff were polite, professional and very upbeat, polished and "present." Burger of the day was "shrimp" burger. Terrific! Spotlessly clean space too ... Bar - served a terrific Citrus forward cocktail ~ .....

Pretty, pretty, pretty good. A glass of champagne goes perfectly with that caviar potato.

The S.O. made reservations here for our anniversary dinner and we had a wonderful time! We started out with the carrot dog and okay, minds blown. The carrot was beautifully grilled with impressive grill marks and prepared in a way that not only had the salt of a hot dog, but even the texture that reminds you of a hot dog which was just super weird for my brain to compute. The celery root slaw and celery pickle perfectly paired with the carrot and the bun was toasted really well. Honestly, one of the most memorable dishes I have ever had. As for our mains, I went with the duck leg, which was absolutely super, duper tender, but I felt like the dish itself was fairly under seasoned. It was unfortunately lacked both the garlic and thyme it was seasoned with. The vegetables were also cooked very well, but again, needed a little more oomf of flavor. My S.O. definitely got the better of the two dishes with his "chicken kinda cordon bleu." That chicken was so phenomenally fried and the spinach salad underneath had the rest of the cordon bleu you would expect wrapped in a chicken breast. They were very smart to have the sauce underneath it all, so it really preserved the texture of the chicken. Definitely get the carrot dog and chicken kinda cordon bleu!

Cannot even begin to describe how delicious this restaurant is. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque. Everything is fresh and local and made in house. Vinegary food fans definitely need to have the devilish eggs.

Best steak I've ever had but it is very spare in atmosphere and presentation. Service was top-notch.

Great Vibes, Live Music, and Plenty of Beer…read more Had an awesome night at High and Dry Brewing in Albuquerque! The place was packed thanks to the live music, but we still managed to find a spot to sit and enjoy the scene--which was honestly impressive. It had that lively, local energy without feeling overwhelming. The bands were playing, the crowd was into it, and the beer was flowing. Solid selection of local brews with something for every taste--whether you're into hoppy IPAs or something more mellow. Everyone was friendly, and the staff kept things moving even with a full house. Street parking was available nearby (big win in Albuquerque on a busy night), so getting in and out was easy. If you're looking for a spot with good beer, chill vibes, and live music that draws a fun crowd, High and Dry delivers. Definitely coming back for another night like this.

We read a lengthy glowing review of La Reforma in a recent ABQ Journal issue and had high hopes of…read morefinding something similar to the tacos we used to get in and near Cuernavaca, Morelos where we lived 2008-13. Sadly, we found kind of a mixed bag. First, the standout items. The margaritas were fantastic; some of the best we've had in the USA and extremely generous. The pinto bean sides were some of the best we've had since returning to the States in 2013. Perhaps not quite as great as those of the shuttered El Cotorro but still stellar. Next, the tacos. We tried only two of the several tacos on offer - The El Pastor and the Pescado. Both were served in what was called "corn tortillas" but these differed from virtually any corn tortillas we've ever had in Mexico or elsewhere. They were at least twice as thick as your typical corn tortilla found in just about all Mexican taco places in Mexico and elsewhere. The consistency and taste were quite different from your normal corn tortilla also. In fact, they really didn't seem to have much taste at all, of corn or anything else. Now to the fillings. At the aforementioned El Cotorro, the meat for the Al Pastor tacos was cooked on a vertical rotating spit which was the only way we ever saw it cooked in Mexico. The meat La Reforma used in their al pastor tacos was more chunky and way drier than any we ever had in Mexico or at El Cotorro. It didn't taste similar to any al pastor tacos were ever had in Mexico. It also kind of seemed like it wasn't cooked recently whereas in Mexico you can watch the cook with a large knife carve off the meat from the vertical spit right in front of you. Usually the time between the carving and it sitting in front of you is under 10 seconds. The fish taco at La Reforma was disappointing. The fish resembled a fish stick but one without much flavor. We wouldn't order it again. We gave the mini-churros a try for dessert. Because they were so small, they were way crispier than your typical regular-sized churro. We might return but we'd skip the al pastor and the fish tacos and try some of the other tacos. But we strongly suggest that they dump their current "corn tortillas" because they're not that good. Way too thick and virtually tasteless. Lo siento. Kudos for the margaritas and the beans. The rest of what we tried didn't live up to the recent glowing review in the ABQ Journal.
