I stopped by on a random Saturday afternoon. I had not heard of this coffee shop so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a sugar free vanilla latte. I wasn't familiar with the menu cup sizing here but the barista was very helpful. They sell their own coffee beans which smell amazing. I purchased a bag and they offered to grid it for me. Stopped in here two different times, and both times were great. First time I just got a creme brulee latte to go, but it was a great latte! Simple coffee shop vibes with a bright interior and counter service. Second time I had a crescent egg sandwich and an iced coffee that I ate in the shop. The sandwich was dynamite, perfectly cooked and the crescent was bomb and the eggs were fluffy and light. Would definitely suggest for a quick bite or a coffee! read more

My favorite coffee ever!!! I have tried so many coffee shops, but I always come back to French Press. Every flavor I have gotten from here has been spectacular (my favorite is Varamel though). On my way to work...I'm already late...I pull up in the drive through that only had 2 cars ahead of me and no other cars in the parking lot. I'm thinking this should be quick. I mean if I'm going to be late, might as well make it worth my time, right? Lol This drive through basically said "oh, you're gonna be LATE LATE, sis". The staff was pleasant and all smiles as they slowly brought my order which was a vanilla chai w/almond milk and a bacon egg and cheese croissant. The drink was warm and lacked chai. Tasted more like vanilla milk...good vanilla milk but the chai was definitely missing. The sandwich was a very nice size, it took up the whole burger box but lacked flavor to me...it was decent. Rude and disinterested in tending to customers. The iced tea was spoiled. The pastry case didn't work nor did the AC. The sandwiches were decent so there was that. Honestly some of the best coffee I've ever had. I got the southern pecan La freeze. (It comes with pecans on top but I opted out). No I'm not hating on pecans I just didn't want none today ok?! But anyway, it's super smooth! Like I really didn't expect that. Most places (including Starbucks) have frozen coffee obviously but it's usually texturized with the ice bits (you know what I mean?) but FRENCH PRESS' was smooth af. Like when I say no I've bits no chunks of anything. Just smooth like a creamy less thick ice cream. And the flavor itself wasn't too sweet at all. Like it was sweet but it didn't taste like they put additional sweetness into it, so it was easily drinkable, atleast for me. Their coffee was good. Special they had on day we went was souther pecan & it had great flavor. I was hungry & got a blueberry muffin. It was terrible. I would prefer the clear plastic baggie blueberry muffins at a store than this one. Greasy too. I ended up throwing out the remainder. It's a nice cafe with ample working space, outlets for charging, and WiFi (though I used my hotspot for security reasons). The coffee here is decent, which is what I started with. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, I ordered a chicken wrap, but they were out of one of the ingredients. The wrap was soggy, the chicken was tasteless, overall it just didn't taste great. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the prices are decent. If you're looking for a space to work from that will be relatively quiet (there is a gambling/game room near the bathroom that gets a lot of action throughout the day), this place isn't too bad. read more

It's time for an overhaul y'all. Do something about the customer service; it's horrendous. These people are downright out rude and disrespectful, and no one is asking them to do anything above and beyond their job; in this case, I'd just prefer them to be average at best to at least be manageable. Until that situation is fixed, I'll opt for Cafe du Monde and even Starbucks. I have tried this place several times & everyone loves it. The problem is i have had a hard time finding my goto coffee because everything I order is sweet. I definitely don't like really sweet items, but yesterday I finally found 2 coffees that weren't sweet. They were delicious. My daughter gets the coffee lafreeze & it definitely wasn't sweet even with whip cream. I really enjoyed my sugar free vanilla iced latte with almond milk plus cinnamon sprinkled on top. Many times sugar-free flavors make coffee is too sweet but this barista did a perfect job of making this coffee. I am very pleased and happy to return. The customer service is great. They even apologized for the wait, but I don't get upset when things rake longer than expected. We are all dealing with things & it's just good to be kind no matter what. read more

This is the first place I go every time I get off the plane. I have already written a review for this place, so this is more like a thank you for your consistency review. I can always count on coming here for my Praline latte with Almond milk that is truly my favorite cup of coffee in Louisiana. I have tried so many other shops and none can compare to you. The only thing I would say is the staff always seems stressed out and not really friendly, but who cares the coffee is made right everytime. So as long as they get me coffee right they can be silent for all I care, and that is hard for me to say as I love customer service. P.S. This is a good enough little place but is pricey. I think with the new CDM across the street they are going to have to make some changes to survive and QUICK! I love their crawfish etoufee soup but at $7.50 a bowl (those are Commanders prices) its a bit steep for soup. Their salads are good, the breakfast sandwiches are also pricey and very "eggy" don't get me wrong, I like eggs. What you get is a breakfast croissant with two skinny strips of bacon and TONS of microwaved to inflate egg product is not my idea of a tasty sandwich. It is clean and nice inside, the drive through has problems a lot of the time especially during peak times. I have spoken to the owner before and he has admitted it's an issue for them. If I could get the recipe for the crawfish soup i'm not sure I would pay the prices otherwise. This is one of those coffee shops that has a little of everything- good coffee being the first on the list. They are across the street from a Cafe du Monde in Kenner and they are still in business! Quite an accomplishment! Cappuccino is good. But their drive they is so busy it was hard to get the barristas attention to order the drink. I love this place. We got bubble tea there this morning and it was fabulous. I had No Idea they have a little menu with liquor drinks. Coffee with liquor? Heck yeah! My man will have to make French Press an after date night stop, regularly now! That's pretty cool. I like this place because it reminds me of Seattle. It's quiet and people in there are always trying to look like they are so busy on their lap tops and in their books and they can't be bothered to smile. I love coming to this local coffee shop. It's a nice change from the other coffee shop because it has boba (tapioca). Parking is plentiful. Seatings are enough for people who want to chat or study. They serve food and beverages, including liquor. Sizes are strange to me: grande (24 oz), Moyen (16 oz) and Petit (12 oz). There was a line today but normally it's pretty quick. I would like to see names for the orders bc customers and baristas were confused. I always get the caramel la Freeze with boba! It reminds me of the same drink I use to get when I lived in Dallas. My daughter and I decided to try this place today since we always pass it but never have the time to make a pit stop. The place is very clean and spacious but has that commercialized Starbucks feel to it that I usually try to avoid. There are tables and chairs outside as well as inside and there was a line about five or six deep when we entered. The service was decent but nothing stood out and impressed us. We both ordered medium hazelnut la freezes, which were actually pretty good, and sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches were huge and actually quite good. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I just prefer the small local feel over the commercialized glamour that a lot of these places offer these days. For coffee and nice study space, this place is great, especially since Kenner has a lack of coffee shops/cafes to study at. There's always good coffee and spacious tables to sit at. One thing that I do not take for granted are their plug outlets along every booth. I have never had to fight for a table or a plug outlet. The main complaint I have is that there always seem to be a lot of fruit flies around. I come here to study quite often, but there's always something buzzing around me. This review is a little crazy because I don't drink or like coffee at all. Why do I come here you ask? Their bubble tea! Oh, I've had literally every flavor bubble tea they have. They have almost the same consistency of a smoothie but a bit creamier. I had to get used to the tapioca pearls but they became addictive after a while. I can recommend all their bubble tea flavors they are all my favorite. So if you in the area I definitely recommend the bubble tea from here.
