Mike and Willie are honest, trustworthy, and always charge a more-than-fair price. It's refreshing to have a shop you can rely on without feeling the need to do extensive research or call around for comparison quotes. They stay busy, and for good reason--the quality of their work and customer service speaks for itself. Thank you again for the great experience! read more

Honest, reliable and affordable- as a single mother on a budget Freeman's Auto is the only auto repair I trust. I've been relying on them for about ten years. read more

We just moved to the area this year and are so happy to have found a mechanic that we trust. Family members recommended them after we had a bad experience with the first mechanic we went to. Now we've been twice and have had a great experience both times. They took good care of our vehicle and only recommended the repairs that needed to be done. The guys at the front are super kind. Today we didn't have quarters for the candy machine for my son, so he offered all the quarters we needed and a cup to store them in. What an awesome place! read more

I am less than impressed by Mike and his business practices and or ethics We were told that the work to be done might exceed $800-$1000 when we dropped the vehicle off I specifically asked that he let me know what the charges would be and I would decide from there.Almost a full week later I called him and yet once again I said let me know what the damage would be before you work on it He calls me 2 days later and says your vehicle is ready and its only $566.00 He drilled two broken bolts out and Serpentine belt back on Then he tells me he had a $575 confirmation from me and my girlfriend which Is a bold faced lie Hs took advantage of us I'm very happy for Mike and all the customers he has sent away happy and reassured they have an honest mechanic. Was not my experience at all.Thank you Mike your the best read more

I dropped my car off today for a simple oil change and inspection. Of course this is just routine maintenance, but I know I have more issues I have been putting off. (Or so I was told from my old shop. They said I needed over $2k in work.) Turns out my last shop was BSing me a bit. Michael was honest with me and let me know that my car was completely fine, and didn't try to make me feel naive. He took the time to explain any issues in layman's terms and gave me realistic expectations. Would absolutely recommend to everyone. Lives up to his deserved 5 star reputation! Thank you! read more

Definitely recommend! Not only is Michael awesome but when I take my car in I know it's in good hands. This isn't a place that quotes higher because you are a woman, they quote fair and reasonable. My car is always done and a timely fashion and the communication and professionalism you can't beat. I send all my friends, family, colleagues here. It's worth it! read more

They have my truck right now and I couldn't be happier with the history I have with these dudes. Mike is awesome, everyone there is. I am a die hard Freeman Automotive customer. I have never been lied to. They have even tried to fix things for free. Never been happier with a mechanic. Thank you guys for always providing the best care in the valley. read more

I had called 6 places. All would not get me in, saying they couldn't for at least 3 days!! I understand being busy, but none of them would hear me out! Finally I literally typed in "best car mechanic" and this popped up! I called and started to ask what the schedule is like, I have a leak and the first thing Mike said was, "well tell me about it." I almost started tearing up. He listened and then when I got there, he listened some more! We got to point and talk and look under the hood.. I felt SO heard and respected! Even though I'm young and my car is old, they didn't care and didn't discriminate! Totally fixed the problem, great prices, HONEST and very kind. DEFINITELY going back and recommend to ALL! read more

If you need your vehicle serviced - GO HERE! These guys are the best. They know their customers - remembering me each time I call or set foot inside the doors. And they treat their customers right. They thoroughly explain what the issue is and what needs done to resolve it. I will keep bringing my cars to these guys in the future and highly recommend you do the same! read more

Freeman's Automotive - Auto Repair Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Highly recommended. Was referred to this shop by a coworker who made no mistake in telling me they do good work. I had called 5 other shops to swap out a radiator on my 2014 Jeep and they ended up beating everyone's quote. Didn't even ask for the other shop's quotes and still beat it. read more

My Husband and I have taken our vehicles to other auto shops, including Dealer service, and none have been as impressive as Freeman's Automotive. There are two men in this shop, Michael (owner)and Willie. They are both extremely engaging, in the sense that they listen to our concerns and take the time to ensure our vehicles leave better than they arrived. We can call over the phone and describe an issue, and Michael will give us an idea of what he suspects the issue to be, along with a quote. It's so frustrating when you're trying to find someone to work on your car who wants to break the bank in the process. Freeman's is reasonable, reliable, efficient, and most importantly HONEST! We wouldn't dream of taking our vehicles anyplace else. read more

We have had several cars repaired there. We have been very happy with their work. Mike is very honest and trustworthy when it comes to working on out cars. They know what they're doing. He doesn't find things just to over charge you like many repair shops do. I highly recommend this place . They are very knowledgeable upon their work!!!! It is hard to find honest places like this. They are good people. read more

Nothing makes me feel more ill than having to go someplace to have my car looked at or fix... Well all that changes as of today... Michael and his team are top notch. I received amazing customer services the second I walked through the door. You would of thought he would of known me or that I was a friend. I received updates before anything was done and when stuff was done it was fast and at a great price. I have never gotten my car back so quick. Dropped her off for breakfast and had her back for lunch. I thought my car was a goner but they gave her a little more life. I will always be grateful for the service I received here and I will never go anywhere else in the future. Thank you guys very much!!!! read more

Called for a quote, and got a call back within 15 minutes with reasonable pricing for what needed to be done. Got in the next day after I called. I brought by car in at 7:30 and it was done by 10:30. Really quick service! Go to them if you need something done! read more

I've been to Mike here twice. Freeman's came highly recommended by my sister and brother in law, and definitely lived up to their glowing review. They do it all. Completely trustworthy and honest, and an excellent communicator, Mike is skilled and a hard worker. The prices are up front and reasonable. I travel a lot for my job, and whenever I am in the Valley, this is where I'll be going for any of my car's maintenance or repair needs! read more

I've brought my vehicles to Mike 4 or 5 times in the past couple of years and every time it has been a great experience. He deserves all of the praise he has gotten in the other reviews and I highly recommend everyone to go see him. There are plenty of shops closer to me considering I live in North Mesa, but I will definitely make the trip down to his shop whenever we have car problems because I know we can count on him. Like the other reviewers, we've had less than ideal experiences at other shops. I'm glad I don't have to deal with a laundry list of items that the other big shops hit you with at the end of their service in an attempt to squeeze more money out of you (How many times do I need to have my cabin air filter replaced? That's not what I came in for!). I'm positive that if Mike saw something concerning, he would bring it up, but he doesn't seem like the kind of person who is going to hunt around for other stuff wrong with your vehicle in an effort to make some quick cash unless you or he had a reason to suspect it was a problem (although, I'm sure he'll look if you ask him to!). Mike is quick, easy to talk to, and I trust him with our vehicles. I normally don't post reviews, but for Mike I'll make an exception! read more

Freeman's is awesome. Easy to work with, great customer service, good prices and always fixes the problem.

Freeman's works on all my vehicles. They are helpful and honest. I highly recommend this shop. You won't be disappointed!

Michael and Willy are outstanding, quick and honest ! There is no where else I would bring my vehicles...no fluff, no add-ons... just honest recommendations and quality work. A+ in my book...and that is rare in the automotive repair industry! read more
