After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

This should've been a one day job after they got the parts but they had my car from 6/22 - 7/1 due to their complete incompetence. The day the job should've been done I started sensing they messed something up because I got a text message at 1030 stating the job was done and they were wrapping up. Cool, I'll be expecting a call in an hour or so. 1:40 comes around, no phone call so I call them. Give me some BS about they need the alignment and they only have one lift and they've been booked all day. Call back at 4:40, they tell me they are waiting for someone to test drive it. Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is. Update to their reply: I'm the primary on the account and your shop made next to no attempt to contact us regarding any issues until we gave them attitude about the lack of communication. As regards to the car being repaired safely before it's turned over to me to drive is that why I have your mechanic on audio telling me it was safe to drive with all those lights on?

Mike sent several apologies and went above and beyond what most business owners would do in a situation such as this. - He refunded me for the missed alignment and the cost of the new tire. To find this kind of honesty is rare and it proves that he operates his business with integrity. Knowing this, I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle directly to Mike in the future if need be. We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

I paid approximately $4,400 for the repair, but when I got my car back, the exact same noise was still there. I contacted the shop and was told the car was fine and to ignore the noise. I was also told the repair was covered by a six-month guarantee. When I brought the car back under that guarantee, I was then told the noise was caused by something else and that I would need to pay for additional repairs. When I asked for a refund because the original issue had not been fixed, the owner became angry and used profanity toward me. I understand that diagnoses can change, but I expected the original problem to be resolved or for the guarantee to be honored without being charged for more repairs. Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed, and I cannot recommend this shop.

I needed some repairs on an exhaust system Wade installed seven years ago, (I blew out one the…read moremuffler seams). I ordered the same mufflers, because they sounded good and lasted 7 years. I was in and out in under two hours. While they had it up on the lift, they replaced four hangers and made sure the 3" exhaust pipes in my 66 GTO were still positioned correctly. No noises from suspension travel, and sounds perfect. It's good to see the next generation performing great work.

I know this, because I had to go under my own vehicle and torque the nuts to spec after driving 500 miles, which is recommended. I mentioned this at the time of install and the guy told me that they would be able to handle it for me for FREE when the time came, which I think should be expected considering that every new exhaust should have this treatment. Instead, when I called back they told me that I would have to pay, and then couldn't even give me a straight quote. I was only able to reach two of the nuts on the exhaust, but they didn't need any tightening luckily. Here's to hoping that any other nuts are torqued to spec, because I can't afford to be overcharged at this point in my life.

I met with Logan for a quote immediately after calling Friendly Auto, who was incredibly professional and kind enough to spend a minute putting the cover piece back in for me since I couldn't reach it. Logan gave me a quote, saying the timing could take anywhere from half hour to an hour due to different pieces needing to be removed to access the bulb area. We scheduled an appointment for the following day to get the bulbs replaced. The next day, Eric (manager) helped me get situated. With the service ending up being under a half hour of labor, he ended up reducing the cost of the service due to it being quicker than expected (which was honorable). You don't always see that kind of honesty in the auto service nowadays and it was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back here and we're pleased with the service provided!
