Okay, this is a really convenient gym. For those of us that live in the Soulard/Lafayette/Benton…read morePark area, this is the closest one you'll find without having to drive 10+ minutes, and if you're like me, if I don't have a spot around the corner I'm probably not going to go. This place is freaking HUGE and has SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. They have plenty of treadmills in multiple locations (you're nervous about being in the open? No problem they have some in a back room), but I'm more into weights - I love that they have every type of weight to choose from, plenty of racks, AND they have so many individual pieces of equipment. Sometimes free weights/racks make me nervous, so having individual machines is freaking awesome and the ease of use is so much better. They have multiple spaces, including a back room that is pretty secluded which is perfect for new people/for stretching. They also have balls, steps, small weights, etc back there. They truly are an all encompassing gym. My only complaint (some people don't care about this) - it is very overwhelming for women AND for those of us that aren't SUPER fit. I will not come in here without my fiancé because I'm too nervous haha! It's....a lot. There's a lot of really fit people and coming from a small planet fitness, this is a lot to take in. Overall, great location. The equipment seems to be kept up nicely, and there's something for everyone.

Definitely recommend him especially to anyone in the LGBTQ community! The owner Jordan is great also and loved working out with him when Joel wasn't available. More than likely 2020 has pooed all over everyone's fitness game. Because enough hasn't changed and…read moreturned upside down, I also switched trainers following COVID shut downs. Because...2020. I've been going twice a week to Jordan since May. He offers private, couples, and I think semi-private with several people. Private sessions are around $45-$55/hour. Equipment is just enough. I wish there were heavier kettle bells but otherwise it has everything without all the 'inner thigh only' machines and what not. I'm that type that wants a set of bells, a platform, boxing mits, and an erg. All the machines in big box gyms make me anxious AF. He trains 6 days/week in early mornings and weekday late evenings. It's conveniently located in the City, midtown area, but parking is that lovely 45 degree paid variety. Big windows for all the gawkers to admire your treadmill jiggle. Or an audience for Jordan wants to know your goals and wants you to crush them. Whatever that goal may be: you wanna jump that 12' fence? You got it. Personally - I wanted to nail a pistol squat. We worked on that pistol squat every session. He's busy, like really busy, but seems to enjoy the hustle. And I like that he's passionate. He's comfortable in a functional fitness method, but he can train you to whatever style you want.

The space itself is beautiful, welcoming, and really supportive of this kind of work. I've attended a few sound journeys there and always felt comfortable and taken care of, and that same energy carried over when I facilitated my own workshop. Kimberly made the entire process very clear and easy, which made hosting feel smooth and stress-free. That meant a lot, especially as someone newer to leading in-person events. I would absolutely recommend Align to anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-held space, whether you're attending an event or facilitating one yourself.

The space is beautiful, well-appointed, and relaxing. My massage with Danni was exceptional. Having spent some time in Thailand a few years ago, I feel that I can speak to the authenticity and quality of a Thai massage (to a certain extent). Damn. Danni has a calming and grounded presence and knows her craft. She's very communicative and receptive to feedback, even just feedback from the body itself. If you're new to Thai massage, it is similar to an extended yoga assist/assisted stretching/manipulation of the body/strong focused pressure. Unlike other forms of massage, you are clothed - so wear loose or flexible clothing (think workout/yoga class) - and laying on the floor. The music is peaceful and the right volume. I will be back again for more, and am looking forward to trying some yoga here as well!
