I took the Tuesday morning hot Pilates class and absolutely loved it! Since it was early, it was still very dark out and the parking lot was well lit. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and shown around the gym. The class itself was packed, and for good reason. The instructor, Grace, was energetic, motivating, and did an absolutely fantastic job of providing clear cues for what we were doing, and prepping for the movements we would be transitioning into. I am curious to check out the variety of other classes, and will definitely be back. It's worth noting that I live 30 minutes away, and the fact that I am planning to make the drive speaks volumes. read more

TruFusion offers such a great variety of classes that I never get bored with my workouts. The instructors are always encouraging and take the time to offer form corrections and modifications, which I really appreciate. I have been going here for over a year now and absolutely love it! It has an amazing variety of classes, great instructors and a decent price! My fav classes here are circuit, kettlebell and boxing, but they have far more. Other classes include spin, yoga, trx and so much more. On top of that, they are always adding classes, which adds to more and more variety! Cost is $95/month, but there are discounts for certain professions and they usually have a yearly Black Friday deal. Classes are throughout the day. There are not enough words to express how much I love TruFusion! This Fitness Center specifically offers group classes, but also has personal training services available if you are interested in having a private one on one. What I love the most is the atmosphere. The staff is always super nice and are always willing to assist you however they can. The instructors are amazing! You even see a couple of them taking the classes too. And they dim the lights, which is one of my favorite aspects! I have to say that this is probably the cleanest facility that I've ever been to. The locker rooms are tidy and I love the scented oil diffusers in the rest rooms. No matter how you feel when you first enter this place, you always leave feeling fantastic! This isn't your typical run of the mill "gym" so don't be alarmed by the cost of membership. It's a little up there, but the amenities make up for it, and students, nurses, servicemen and non-profit workers get a discount! They also have locations currently branching across the U.S. and it's amazing to see celebrities dropping in here and there, which to me is pretty darn cool! They also have a restaurant, where you can order healthy food and beverages straight from the locker room! Bonus! I talk about TruFusion so much, you'd probably think that I was one of their employees. But I'm not - it's just that great! Tru Fusion is my home away from home. I have been a member since a little after they founded the original location in Clayton. Most days, the forty five minutes at Tru are the only time I have for me throughout the whole day. I wouldn't choose to spend them at any other place. I am beyond thankful to the instructors who push me to always find my inner strength. TruFusion is the gym I've been looking for! I love premium group training classes and heated yoga but struggled to find a gym that provided both variety in classes and affordability. I've practiced Bikram yoga for several years and was heartbroken when my gym closed this past year. I wasn't thrilled with the other Bikram studios in town and they were far more expensive than what I had been paying so it just wasn't a good fit for me. I also enjoyed boot camp type training at places like Shred415 but again, the price point was just too high to justify going often or buying a membership. I read about TruFusion and asked my friends about it but they had never heard of it before. After researching the website it seemed to be too legit to not have hidden costs somewhere but I committed before the gym even opened hoping it would be everything it seemed. The gym just opened on Thursday and I've been to two classes so far. It's everything I had hoped it would be! Don't judge them by the nondescript exterior that it shares with Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton. As soon as you walk through the door you feel like you've entered a big city premium gym. Everything is stylish, clean, high tech, and looks like they spared no expense. The locker rooms have great lighting, showers, hair dryers, etc that help you fit working out into your busy work life. The soul hot yoga studio has energetic lighting, great music, and fantastic instructors. I had never tried a yin class before but I left today feeling great and looking towards when I can be back in the gym. And to really seal the deal all of this is offered for $95/month UNLIMITED which is far better than other premium class based gyms in town. They also reward fire responders, nurses, and nonprofit workers with a discount to $72 which as a nurse I'm really grateful for! Side note, if you love Revel Kitchen they are opening their second location right inside the gym! You can have a great workout and stay on your diet all in one place. I heard they will have an ordering system you can use before your class and your food/smoothie will be waiting for you when you're done. How awesome is that?! read more

Can't say enough good things about this gym. I think I've referred about 15 family and friends, all of whom who now feel the same as I do. I was intimidated when I first started right when they opened. I hadn't done fitness classes in a long time and was nervous about being able to keep up and feeling my age. I have felt welcomed in every class and it's one of my favorite things about this gym. Going on 5 years being a member and I am hooked. There is no intimidation or making you feel like you don't belong. Every instructor is very welcoming and helpful. From the minute you walk in the front door, you are warmly greeted and treated well. Every employee is polite and engaging. If you don't know where you're going or unfamiliar with equipment, always a friendly face to help you figure it out. I've taken classes I never dreamed I'd be capable of doing. The classes offered and so diverse and the teachers really know their stuff. The facilities are very clean with great amenities. This place is AMAZING!!!!! Instructors are the best in STL. The heated classes like pilates and barefoot bootcamp are incredible. My entire body was worked while keeping it fun. The lighting is super cool, the studios are so pretty. There is something for everyone from barre to yoga to cardio dance! The girl who teaches cardio dance puts zumba to shame and it's to all hot hits off the charts. Revel Kitchen's food is to die for and all fresh and healthy. You can order your food before your class and have it ready after. The staff is so nice and accommodating. They clean EVERYTHING after each class.
