My home studio in Florida has never had an issue with members wearing shoes to and from their stations. However, at this St. Louis location, I've been repeatedly told not to wear my shoes to my reformer. Yesterday, I asked a staff member to email me the written policy or rulebook for this location regarding footwear, but I never received it. To be clear, I do not work out in my shoes. I wear grip socks during class. My concern is that if I need to use the restroom in the middle of class, I'm not going to walk through a public restroom in my socks and then get back on the equipment. I also don't think it's reasonable to expect members to walk all the way to the front of the studio just to retrieve their shoes every time they need to use the restroom. I'm a paying member and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask to see the written policy after being repeatedly corrected. If this location has a different footwear policy than my home studio that's completely fine, but it should be communicated clearly and provided when a paying member requests it. As a customer whose membership helps support this business and helps pay the instructors bills, I expect consistency, transparency, and respect. Also, if we're going to focus on safety and studio standards, I'd like to point out that the reformer I used yesterday had a tear that was approximately 1 1/2 inches long in the upholstery. In my opinion, equipment in that condition should be repaired or replaced immediately. It seems inconsistent to be so focused on members walking to their reformers in shoes while damaged equipment remains in use. read more

Very nice studio. Kind of small but plenty of room to workout. Love the equipment. Well taken care of and lots of options for different workouts. read more

This is the second studio that I normally frequent. I usually work out in Crestwood, but I do come here for a class or 2 as well during the week. While this studio is a little older, it seems to have friendlier and more interactive clientele. The location is perfect for me when coming home from work and wanting to go straight to a class. Mostly, I take a class here over the weekend or late at night during the weekdays. Some of the reformers may show some wear and tear, but they do a great job maintaining. They use a sprayer and washcloth for cleaning purposes, which I actually prefer more than the disposable wipes as it decreases the amount of garbage output. The instructors are very friendly! This is a nice studio to workout in, and I enjoy the bonus interactions as well. The classes are a lot more varied here, and I can usually find an open spot for certain classes I want to take without having to sign up for it weeks in advance. read more

I joined Club Pilates Brentwood (St Louis) a year ago and just finished class 90 today, whoa. After a double mastectomy and years of not working out I joined CP and told myself I was committing, all in, NO excuses (and I love making excuses). I don't want to be one of those folks who talks about working out all the time (hehe...you know 'em) but I will tell you I crave my time on the reformer. It clears my mind and resets my body. I stand taller, am stronger, leaner and my range of motion is dramatically different than it was a year ago. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills and am fully dedicated to my practice. I cannot recommend this studio and staff more highly. The staff are truly amazing!!!! When I step in the door I know it's a community where I want to be. The people are great, they (instructors, staff and members) want the same things I want. They are helpful and will take extra time to ensure members are confident in their work on the reformer. There are lots of class options and the staff are consistently looking to add more to keep up with the demand. If you think you cant do this I challenge you to try! Your body is entirely capable, I am proof. Reformer pilates at Club Pilates Brentwood is part of my life and I am SO MUCH better because of this studio and the people there. Shout out to Tanya and Lee...these two instructors (and my most attended classes) are AMAZING! They are truly goals and when I am out of town or unable to attend I miss it so much. What are you waiting for?! read more

I have been going to club Pilates for a while now and love it. The class I usually go to is cardio sculpt, which incorporates cardio into a Pilates workout. It's a hard class but I really enjoy it and the instructor. I also like that club Pilates has classes later in the afternoon since I am not a morning person. Parking and location are convenient. Check in process is easy. I wish my work and schedule would allow me to go more. Highly recommend this place. read more

I have been going to this location for almost a year. I have never enjoyed exercise like I have at Club Pilates. Although my home base is Brentwood, I have also been to several other locations around St Louis and all are amazing! This is very welcoming environment. All of the instructors are great but special shout outs to Shannon, Tanya, and Susie. Those are some hard classes but I always look forward to them. I am almost at 100 classes and looking forward to the next (several) hundred!! read more

This post has been edited because shortly after I posted this, Paige from Club Pilates reached out to me to get into more details on how they could improve. While I personally won't be attending Club Pilates again because it just wasn't for me, I do REALLY appreciate Paige reaching out to me very promptly to address my concerns. Hopefully some of my concerns will be addressed and I look forward to others having good experiences at Club Pilates. Here was my original review: I wanted to like this place. I tried, but it was just not for me. *Please note that because I say this is not for me doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out.* I like how they have a free intro class to walk you through the flow of a pilates class and the studio. What I don't like is how it turns into a sales pitch at the end. I also don't like that it seems like a per month price, but in reality you have to commit to at least 3 months. It is not obvious this is the case, so know that going into it! Even if you just buy a few classes per month, you still have to commit to at least 3 months. So it makes it pretty pricey. I really enjoyed classes with Tanya, so if you're going to check them out try to take a class with her. It was hard to hear other instructors (she uses a headset) and the attention just didn't feel the same. The biggest reason this place did not work out for me was because of timing. They offer a lot of classes during the work day and not consistently before or after. To sum it up, try the free class and decide for yourself! read more

I took two classes this week: TRX/Reformer Fusion and Cardio Sculpt. I've never done workouts like these before. Both left me a little sore (in a good way...let's me know I was trying to get the workout right). I was surprised to break a sweat from the Cardio Sculpt class. Obvi cardio workouts require sweat but I was just surprised that short movements while lying on the "carriage" could do that. Both classes worked out parts of the body I've never felt before. I enjoyed the experience! read more

I was so excited for this studio to open. I have been stalking them on Facebook for almost a month now and its finally open. The studio is located off Brentwood right before you hit Manchester. The parking lot you use is next to the Pasta House, so there is plenty of parking. The studio is a decent size and offers 10-12 reformers. Everything is new and clean and organized. They have a cleaning station to clean off once you are done. They offer ToeSox for purchase if you did not bring any. They also offer other work out clothing at the front. You NEED ToeSox or socks with rubber grip in order to take a class. To the left when you walk in they have cubes for storing you coat, shoes, and handbag. There is a bathroom located in the back. The instructor, Crystal was incredibly informative and nice. She went through every step and would correct your posture or position if needed. I didn't think I would become sore or even feel the workout but boy was I wrong. I started feeling all of this little pulses and small movements late last night and I am sore this morning. Its definitely because I am targeting muscles I never target so I am happy about that. The hours are great and I can comfortably take a weekend class or a class after I get home from work and not feel rushed. I think the latest class I saw on the schedule was a 7:00pm. They offer buy as you go classes and membership options depending how often you want to go. They have a 4, 8 and unlimited package option. I am probably going to sign up for the 4 classes and go once a week every weekend in addition to my workouts during the week. I highly recommend trying a class and see the difference for yourself! I can't wait to go back!! read more

I finally tried Pilates. I have been wanting to try it since I first learned about it years ago. I always thought it was a celebrity workout that was completely out of my scope. I was happily surprised to find out we have an affordable Pilates studio in Saint Louis! I decided to take a level 1 class on a Sunday. Can we talk about how nice it is to see a place with Sunday classes?! Well yes, I nervously signed up for a class. The lady was friendly and told to wear tight fitting clothing and gripped socks. She said I could by the socks when I got there so that was great. So on Sunday I arrived at the studio 30 mins early. Parking was very easy since there is a lot to the side of the building. I walked into the class and was greeted by friendly staff. They were expecting me. They had me sign some waivers and then took me on a tour. The place is very nice! The equipment is new and the facility is very clear. They have a studio for personal 1:1 classes and a larger studio for group classes. They have cubbies for your gym bag as well. After the tour, I happily bought a pair of toe sock and waited for the class to start. Class is tough!! Not a bad tough, but you get your money's worth. I was surprised how much I sweat and how many muscles were sore. The instructor gave very clear directors and always checked on me to make sure my form was correct. Although it was my first class, I really felt comfortable. The class flew by and before I knew it, it was over. I could feel the stretch, but felt great. Overall, this place is great. It is a comfortable environment to learn Pilates or strengthen your skill. The staff is knowledge and the facility is stunning. I bought a package so maybe I'll see you there! read more

If you're looking for the best pilates class in St. Louis, this place is hard to beat! My first time to Club Pilates and the instructor was incredibly patient and had such a positive enthusiastic energy, it made the class go by so quick! Also, I definitely walked out taller and was already feeling it in my muscles - it was a great workout! The studio is bright, extremely clean and the equipment is in top notch shape. The class was professional, at the same time the instructor took time with each person to make sure your form and technique was right. Definitely a great community of people who attend as well, very welcoming. I absolutely recommend Club Pilates and I can't wait for the next class!! read more

Club Pilates Brentwood STL - Club Pilates studio! Very clean, nice equipment and bright. Love this space! - Pilates Near Me - St. Louis, Missouri

This. Place. Is. Awesome! I have been a member since they opened and made sure to get the unlimited pass which gives me the flexibility to visit frequently (everyday if you like). The entire staff is amazing, knowledgeable and extremely warm. As the name indicates they have a lot of Pilates classes, Reformer is my personal favorite. However, I noticed some of my peers prefer the Barre and/or Cardio Sculpt classes they offer. I've taken all three and no matter what you will definitely get a great workout. The intensity level is up to you (level 1, 1.5 or 2). The classes are 7 days a week, with multiple classes each day, (including early mornings and evenings during the week, so its convenient. During the work week I prefer going in the evenings (not a morning person). The instructors are highly trained and the class size (no more than 12) allows instructors to have the freedom to provide some individual assistance and support. Convenient, great workout, excellent staff; I definitely recommend giving this place a visit. read more

I've been a member for about 2 months now. I never used to like pilates; I felt that I've never been able to do it correctly and as a result I was usually experience discomfort in the neck area. But their reformer equipment provided the 'assist' that I need to build the strength. I can already tell the difference. The reformer classes are full body workout. However, due to the number of equipment, the classes are limited to 12 participants. read more

A wonderful intro class. I have only done mat pilates and have never done it on a reformer. Instructor taught us the basics of the reformer, positioning, and the history of the reformer. I would really love to join, but reformer classes are out of my price range at the moment. With bad sport knees, this is a great workout. read more

I would highly recommend this Pilates studio! I have been taking classes here for over a year and can see the results. The instructors are fabulous, the studio is always sparkling clean and everyone is so nice. Do yourself a favor and sign up for the intro class. You will be hooked! read more

I am super thankful Club Pilates is in Brentwood! I have been working out here for a couple of months now and have noticed major changes in my posture and my overall strength has improved more than any other work out that I've tried. The studio is beautiful. The app makes it easy for me to schedule classes for each week. I look forward to going, which is rare for me when it comes to working out. I thought by now I'd have favorite classes, but they are all so good that I can't pick! I really feel like a level 1 is just as beneficial as the 1.5 and 2 classes. It's also nice that there is a variety of blended Pilates classes with TRX, barre and cardio options to choose from. It has a family vibe that I love so much & that I haven't found at other places. The instructors are all so amazing and motivating. I have really enjoyed getting to know each of them and appreciate what each one brings to the classes they teach. read more
