I love the variety of class options and music selections each month. The babes at Yes Honey always give the girlies what we want! It's really fun when there's an event going on in St. Louis and Yes Honey fits the theme - for example, they had Beyoncé week when Beyoncé was performing in St. Louis a few months ago. The staff and instructors are always so bubbly, energizing, and supportive. I am instantly happier when I step foot in the building. It's CUTE and PINK, with fun merch and giveaways going on all the time! I have gone to a range of class types: Yes Choreo (choreography), Yes Move (follow-the-leader/freestyle), Poms (cheer style), Barre/Ballet, and ReSOUNDing Yoga (sound bath/yoga) and have loved every one! They have several class purchasing options including monthly memberships, pay by class, or class packs online. I bought a 10-class pack which came out to $18/class. I think it's a great value for such a fun, empowering, uplifting, safe space for EVERY body! Give it a try - you'll love it!

My home studio in Florida has never had an issue with members wearing shoes to and from their…read morestations. However, at this St. Louis location, I've been repeatedly told not to wear my shoes to my reformer. Yesterday, I asked a staff member to email me the written policy or rulebook for this location regarding footwear, but I never received it. To be clear, I do not work out in my shoes. I wear grip socks during class. My concern is that if I need to use the restroom in the middle of class, I'm not going to walk through a public restroom in my socks and then get back on the equipment. I also don't think it's reasonable to expect members to walk all the way to the front of the studio just to retrieve their shoes every time they need to use the restroom. I'm a paying member and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask to see the written policy after being repeatedly corrected. If this location has a different footwear policy than my home studio that's completely fine, but it should be communicated clearly and provided when a paying member requests it. As a customer whose membership helps support this business and helps pay the instructors bills, I expect consistency, transparency, and respect. Also, if we're going to focus on safety and studio standards, I'd like to point out that the reformer I used yesterday had a tear that was approximately 1 1/2 inches long in the upholstery. In my opinion, equipment in that condition should be repaired or replaced immediately. It seems inconsistent to be so focused on members walking to their reformers in shoes while damaged equipment remains in use.

Make sure you bring your grippy socks! The classes are usually a mix of experience levels and the instructors walk around to help everyone with form. You can be totally new to barre and still have a great time in class. The facilities are bright and clean. There's cubby space for your belongings, private restrooms, and a small seating area. The front area has their clothing shop. The staff and instructors are really nice, and they often take each other's classes!

I visited recently during a weekend stay and was pleased to squeeze in a quick workout. I found the staff to be friendly and the facility to be clean, albeit it felt a bit outdated. I believe there are local "members" that workout here regularly, but can't speak to the pricing or local experience. Easily accessible off of Forest Park Parkway, I was pleasantly surprised by this studio. I have attended Contemporary, Hip Hop and Cardio Barre. All of them were fantastic. The classes are not too large which is great to get a connection with the instructor and ask questions if needed. The Contemporary class has a great mix of warm up, across the floor and center combination work. As for Hip Hop, it is a fun class to let loose and learn a routine to one of the top hits you hear on the radio. As for Cardio Barre, be ready to sweat your a$$ off. This intense hour long class is a great calorie burner that incorporates ballet barre as well as center work to build your core. It is a bit like torture but in a good way! The only complaint I have is with the class schedule. I would love to take the jazz class but cannot make it there from work in order to attend the 5:30 class time. Additionally, I wish they had more dance class options during the weekend. Other than that, I am glad to have found a dance studio to get me back doing what I love the most!!!
