It is a warm and inviting environment as I am NOT in shape but I have been here 5 times and have felt improvement each time I come. They have a deal for new people which is crazy good so it is worth at least giving a try. They are in the same building as "Just Dancing." TLDR: Worth at least trying. A non-judgmental environment. One day last month, I randomly decided to just DO SOMETHING. Anything! And I found Just Pilates STL. I was intimidated signing up, because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The inner (and outer, lol) chubby kid within me hates working out around others, but I thought I'd give it a go. Immediately upon walking in the studio for the first time, Natalie greeted me with a huge smile and loads of encouragement. She helped me realize it's okay to meet your body where it's at, and you don't have to be perfect right away...you just have to try. I have never felt so at home so quickly, where I'm welcomed and wanted. Each class since, I am greeted with that same enthusiasm, both from Natalie and the other classmates. We all share one goal: healthy movement. Nobody in the class is trying to outdo you, they're focused on themselves! If you're like me, and you do not like being perceived while working out, but you also hate going to the gym...this is for you. I promise it is NOT scary whatsoever, it is probably the thing I am most grateful for finding in 2025. Thank you Natalie and crew, I am so so grateful for you and this studio!!!!

However, I'm not getting any younger, and realized I needed to start making an effort for my physical health. I took a class at ZTB based on the recommendation from a friend. I was hooked from the beginning. The environment at ZTB is positive and uplifting. The owner Lisa leads by example, and has developed an amazing culture of health, fun, and enthusiasm. One of my favorite aspects of ZTB is the variety of classes. The classes offer opportunities for beginners to those more advanced. The instructors do a phenomenal job of making sure everyone in class is comfortable. If a modification is needed, the instructors provide guidance, if you need to challenge yourself, the instructors will give you pointers there too!

There are some welcome changes like full length mirrors, two changing rooms and better sound equipment! Love that most of the former instructors stayed. I basically took classes for the amazing instructors and I glad that they stayed at the studio. They have barre , circuit training, Pilates and yoga classes. I love the the instructors who are very involved and pay attention to their clients and their workouts, including the new owner Kate Ferguson! They have some new client specials going on and I highly recommend that you take advantage of them. I love barre, it is deceptively simple but so fulfilling! My muscles ache for at least 2 days after and I feel so much stronger and accomplished . Circuit training is challenging and rewarding in its own way. I don't do Pilates and yoga as much but I know people who swear by them. Love the community feel of the studio, and how we all got to know each other and help make our workouts more challenging and this place awesome!

This studio…read moregives you that warm fuzzy 'local community' vibe (they even sell local artist goods in the lobby if you're interested in a 'one of a kind' statement necklace)! The classes are offered in a beautiful brick building (wood floors, big windows) on what I would consider the 'Main Street' of Lafayette Square. Plenty of parking in front of the studio or nearby. You have to travel through a small alley to get to the door (which is quite romantic... you can smell incense burning as you approach the studio's entrance). All of the instructors are friendly, helpful, and set a good pace for class. A couple of my friends enjoyed their experience with the studio so much they decided to complete the 'teacher training'! It's been fun to attend classes they host now to see how much their practice has developed!

This week I went to a hot yoga class with my husband and his niece (she's a regular here) and although I've done regular yoga, glow yoga, aerial yoga, and yoga on the rocks, I had never done hot yoga so I was game. And I also hadn't done any form of yoga in quite a few months so I was a little weary since it wasn't clear what the ideal experience level was. We signed up online which makes the process quicker since you don't have to fill out any paperwork when you arrive. As soon as we got there we jumped in line, paid for our class ($7 cash/$10 card), kicked our shoes off, and found a space. The class filled up quickly so I'm willing to bet, late arrivals won't get in... which isn't a bad thing. I absolutely loved the studio we were in. The windows look out to Park Ave, but they do have a screen that blocks the sun from beaming down on you (I mean you're already going to be hot enough... you don't need the extra help). I like the whole design of ST Yoga in general. They updated just enough to make it comfortable like the nice finished bathrooms and changing areas, but they left a lot of the original features in tact like the wood floors and the large pane windows. What I love the most is that you enter ST Yoga through the back which takes you through this cute bricked alleyway... it truly feels like a secret that you're being let in on. So hot yoga. It was fast paced and hot. It was clear that it was going to be hot-hot and not just luke warm as soon as we walked in. I didn't mind it, but you'd be crazy if you didn't bring a water bottle (or two) with you. There is no pressure to push your body past it's limits, but more so to listen to your body and know when you can challenge yourself. And any reservations I had about going to a class that could potentially be an advanced class were washed away when I realized any advanced moves instructions were accompanied by instructions for modifications. 100% recommend! This was a fantastic workout that was both challenging and meditative. All of the staff was helpful and welcoming. Oh and they start off their Om's with this little accordion type instrument (different than any studio I've been to, but everyone was on the same key so it sounded beautiful). ST Yoga is a great place for any level yogi and they offer a range of different classes along with some pop up events so you can really find your niche at this studio.

She quickly said we have chair yoga. There a class on this Tuesday it's $10 see you then. Well that approach I had to check it out. Did chair yoga until I I could use put pressure on the foot and EVERY INSTRUCTOR works with thE skill Level you haVe and works within YOUR practice. I've since then gone many many times have had every instructor but one an D like theM all. They all have their individuality and quirks and if I want a core workout we can focus onn that if I want a gentle one I choose gentle flow plus the drop in at @ $10 are a plus (going to $12 in March but still a steal). They have stuff to borroww if you don't have your own. It's clean quaint and I've brought friends. They are literally changing lives one pose at a time. I've gained endurance confidence peace and toned up some. My dr is happy I'm happy aNd I this place. Yoga does a body good
