I love everything about this studio...the owner is fantastic, the instructors are varied but all are top-notch, the space is inviting and they have all of the props, their class schedule aligns well with my schedule, and they are less than 10 from my house. What's not to love about all of that?!?! The coolest thing about this studio is that all of their classes and instructors focus on helping students improve on their practice. There is always space in the class that allows students to personalize their practice or work on focus areas. There are also all kinds of events and pop-up classes that are included in membership - I'm pretty excited for the celestial flow class this weekend! On my latest trip, I finally had the chance to dedicate time for my yoga practice every day, so I was eager to sign up for a couple of drop-in classes at BlueBird Yoga. As soon as I walked on the deck, I was welcomed by Tibetan prayer flags and the scent of incense. I felt right at home in this beautiful studio! I was kindly greeted by Jo, who checked me in and helped me acquaint myself to the space. She led an awesome yoga basics class where she led us through proper alignment of fundamental poses. She also offered many modifications and options to deepen the stretches for more sensations in these poses. I also loved Joe's studio expanding class. It was dynamic and challenging in a good way. He threw in a couple of arm balances, which were fun to explore. Lastly, the BlueBird Yoga community is amazing. Everyone was so friendly, and I made a friend who grabbed coffee with me at one of the nearby cafes. I look forward to coming back next time I visit.

Never once did she clarify that she's not with the yoga studio and acted as if she ran the entire place. Ingrid Hurley was VERY patient, understanding, and apologetic after listening to my experience. Even over the phone, she made me feel EXTREMELY welcomed...so welcomed that I will be visiting the studio this week :). As a yoga instructor myself, I was looking for somewhere to practice that would hold me accountable and also stretch me in new ways. Detox fits the bill. You will sweat until your entire body and hair is dripping because it's super hot and humid in the room. You will hear some calming music at more slow paced times in the class and loud pump up music during fast paced times in the class. You will be working so hard you will likely have to rest throughout the class. It's not easy and that's why I love it. You will feel like you conquered a difficult workout after this class. This class pushes you and I've noticed significant improvement in my flexibility and ability to hold several yoga poses. I also believe hot yoga has significantly helped my mental health. I can't worry about anything else in the world when I'm working so hard in this class. This studio is also very well kept and clean which I appreciate. Staff has always been nice and helpful as well.

They also have a large schedule from early morning to late evenings. There are two different packages - one for just this location and one for all locations. They are higher priced then most gyms but I do feel it is worth it. They also will give your friends a free trial to come try out the location with you before enrolling them. They genuinely want to make sure the gym is the right fit for you and do not pressure you to join.
