I first requested that my daughter's membership be canceled at the end of September 2025. I followed up again in October, spoke directly with the owner, Greg, in November, and raised the issue again in December. In December, Greg specifically told me that the membership had been canceled when I originally requested it. I relied on that representation. I recently discovered that I had continued to be charged approximately $145 per month for my daughter's membership for roughly a year despite those repeated cancellation requests. When I brought the issue to Greg's attention, I was then told that I had supposedly signed a one-year contract and that I had never completed the required cancellation form. I dispute both claims. My daughter's membership was arranged over the phone, and I do not recall ever signing or receiving a written one-year contract. I have now formally requested that the gym provide me with the agreement it claims I signed. There is also a disagreement regarding the membership price. Greg stated that my daughter's membership was $99 per month. That was not her rate. The $99 rate was a separately discussed rate for my boyfriend based on his circumstances and being a teacher. My daughter's charges were approximately $145 per month. Today, September 25, 2026, I personally delivered Greg a formal written dispute concerning the charges. I simply handed him the letter and told him that I would not be letting the matter go. Rather than keeping the interaction focused on the billing dispute, Greg told me this was why he "can't do people favors," accused me of "making a scene" and making people uncomfortable, told me I could leave, and stated that he would be canceling my membership. I found that response particularly disappointing. A customer should be able to dispute approximately a year of recurring charges and request documentation supporting those charges without the conversation becoming personal. For clarity, the billing dispute remains unresolved as of the date of this review. I have formally requested the alleged signed contract, the applicable cancellation requirements, the recurring-payment authorization, a complete accounting of the charges, and reimbursement of the disputed amounts. I have also provided the gym with the dispute by hand delivery, certified mail, and email. I will update this review if and when the gym provides the requested documentation or resolves the disputed charges. This review reflects my personal experience and the status of the dispute as of September 25, 2026.

Allison, Katie, and Heather all taught the warm vinyasa classes I've tried out and all of their sequences have been so fun and challenging. It has been a few years since I had my last practice back in maplewood so I am so so happy that this studio is right across the highway from my house! (4 minute drive? A dream) It's also great that they have two other studios I can practice in as well in chesterfield and Wentzville. They have lots of workshops and they're currently planning a retreat in Bali. I've always wanted to go on a retreat and love that it's an option with people from my area. There was a woman asking questions about it who was so kind. Everyone I've interacted with so far has been kind. Clean studio, little shop at the front including products like lululemon and manduka, iPad check-in, shelves for personal items and locker room. Mat cleaner inside the rooms and cold towels during shavasana. Little shopping center but has a lot of spaces in the parking lot. Can't wait to try sculpt + flow tomorrow, mat Pilates next week and yin! Excited to see how this place will continue to challenge me and help me with my practice! As a yoga instructor myself, I was looking for somewhere to practice that would hold me accountable and also stretch me in new ways. Detox fits the bill. It's hard (let me be honest, any place that makes me practice standing balance is hard ) but doable. And since at least one or two of the flows will be repeated in many classes, yogis have a chance to see their practice grow and expand, which is always so encouraging for students.
