Excellent service for my online order. Chuck shipped a lightly used Brompton to my home in Seattle. I put my order in online and he followed up with a phone call to get my preferences and make a few adjustments before shipping it to me. It all went quickly and smoothly with great communication. Then I broke part of my gear shifter . I couldn't get into my local bike shops to get it repaired. Chuck mailed me the piece, so I could fix it myself. I love my new bike. After my expensive road bike was stolen I decided to carry any new bike w me wherever I go hence my new love affair w Britain's Brompton. I've had 2 Cannondale mountain bikes and a Specialized Ruby Expert. I wanted to send a shoutout to Chuck and Freedom Folding Bikes! A couple of months ago I had a seamless experience buying a Brompton folding bike. A few weeks later I had the dreaded flat back tire. Since I Iive in Denver, I checked with REI who said they could fix it. Unfortunately, they literally tore the fender in two when they couldn't even unfold the bike. I touched base with Chuck and brought my bike back to Boulder. He completely repaired the damage, discovered and repaired the cause of the flat, and checked out and tuned the entire bike while we waited. There is no bike shop in all my 57 years that matches the customer service that Freedom Bikes does! Chuck knows more about his products than any other shop that sells fold up bikes. Brompton has changed my life when I travel. I travel to Europe, Vietnam, and many obscure places where my fold up from Chuck- Modified with lower gears has made my travels much more enjoyable. WHY did I not do this 10 years ago! Brompton is the best fold up on the market. He has others that are good too, maybe equal in quality but not as easy to travel with. If I lived out of town I would still purchase from Freedom hands down. read more
