No worth time or money. $27.00 for 3 perch the size of my pinky finger 3 small shrimp all under cooked I asked for sautéed and it was breaded for some reason and a small baked potato. Sweet drinks that are unpalatable. Waitress spilled a drink on my wife and no compensation what so ever. The tried to pass off tenderloin as filet mignon. Lighting my money on fire would have been more entertaining

We had the ribs Donna special oysters & ribeye!! it definitely surprised us and exceeded our expectations! Thank you Billy !

We had the ribs , Donna special , rockerfeller oysters and ribeye!! Everything was amazing!! These pictures do no justice!! We came in town from Texas and it definitely surprised us and exceeded our expectations! The only thing that wasn't at 100% was the temperature that my steak was cooked . We sent it back and it's was fixed with no problem!! Nice cold beer and yummy reisling wine !! There was 5 of us we loved everything!! Billy was our server !! He was so sweet! We loved him ! Thank you

Plenty of parking , Service was Great , cheese cake was very Good , we tried Gordon Ramsay menu to me it was ok , we will go back to try Freddy's own lunch menu.

Needed more seasoning to the steak. And too much spinach on the oysters. Also bread in French onion soup too big. All in all meal was OK

If you want a good steak or a great meal, Freddy's is your place. This time, we were seated right away with no reservation on a Saturday night. Got menus and water immediately, but had to wait a minute for our waitress. She offered the specials right off the bat, and we ordered cocktails and an appetizer...my Cosmopolitan came to me quickly, but my husband had to wait a hot minute for a glass of wine, which unfortunately, he said was oxidized. I asked for a Cointreau Cosmopolitan, and the waitress came back and told us they didn't have Cointreau which seemed odd to me because they have a full service bar. I asked for Grand Marinier instead, and it was one of the best Cosmopolitans I've ever had...and I have had many--enough to know what's good and what's not. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer...the waitress told us there were 4 shrimp to a serving, but there were only 3 when it came out, and it was plated beautifully. They were saucy and cooked perfectly. The sauce didn't especially have over tones of coconut, but it was sweet and limey. Not what I was expecting, but it was good nonetheless. My husband got the filet and a baked potato, and he was surprised--he said the baked potato was perfect, and his filet was melt in your mouth good. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked rare, just the way I like it. Very tender, could cut it with a butter knife. My double baked potato was MIA, and when it finally came out, our waitress said she would comp us with a free dessert because of the mix up. They were out of the carrot cake, so I ordered the Limoncello cake--kind of like a Limoncello cheesecake but not...very tart and refreshing and lemony. I'm only giving 4 stars this time around because although the food was great, the service this time was just okay and slightly off the mark for here--it's usually top notch, and you never have to ask for anything, it's almost like the servers have ESP. Tonight it was acceptable, but just not what it usually is. I don't know if this was because it was a Saturday, they were short staffed, the waitress was new--I'm not sure...but like I said it's usually fabulous, and this time, it was good but not up to the standard that Freddy's is known for. Of course we will go back again--the food is great, and one meal that wasn't perfect service is not going to drive us away by any means...and who doesn't love the late 1960's early 1970's vibe or ambiance or whatever they are calling it these days. My grandparents, my parents, and my aunts and uncles all came here for dates and special occasions. It's almost like you hear Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. in the distance...we will be back.

    24oz porterhouse was perfection!

We were seated on time and then everything went down from there. It took over an hour from when we ordered to get our food. My brick chicken had been sitting under a heater too long and was no longer served with asparagus. See my previous photo from 2 years ago. My husbands chicken calabrese was rubbery. My SIL's chicken Parmesan's breading fell off. Our server was too busy with 2 large parties and we were neglected. Not really his fault as he was left overwhelmed. Other employees stood around chatting with a couple seated next to us rather than assisting waitstaff who obviously needed help. The other tables had birthdays and they sang to them. They didn't sing to my sister in law. The manager took $20 off of our $250 bill for the inconvenience after my mother in law spoke to her regarding the wait. My husband was a server for 9 years at a busy restaurant during high school and college and was livid. We left incredibly disappointed. Glad we used a few gift cards because I'm not sure we will be back.

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.

We decided to order it…read more I thought what kind of prime rib we can expect for this low price was puzzling to me, but we tried it. Prime rib is a normally a roasted meat but the friendly waitress asked how we liked it prepared and charred was of the two options presented to us. It was like we couldn't get the usual rare, medium or well-done scope of options. When it arrived, it was not the Prime Rib I was accustomed too but a charred thin steak with overboard seasoning. Being a man and a birthday party honoree, I decided to not complain or send it back as such would have been a very rude, unappreciative gesture to my host, I thought. What I learned here is this is not a place known for Prime Rib or steaks as it is an Italian eatery, stick with pizza and pasta dishes for the best satisfaction. Lesson learned.

Onto the entrees I ordered the chicken Marsala and it came with two good sized chicken breasts and I opted for the fettuccine Alfredo on the side. Overall I give it a 7/10 - it hit the mark but wasn't impressive. We also ordered the Parmesan crusted 8 oz filet for $35. We asked for medium but it came out medium rare. Was a bit bland but we ate it. Overall we won't be back for a while but it's a good place to try when you want some Italian from an old school joint.
