Stopped into this Fred Meyer. I'm disabled so I rely on the mobility scooters in store. This is what I walked into today. The scooters were all out of order. Look like they had one other that somebody was using. This is common for me at the store to find either of them all in this repair or have no charge. Walmart so yesterday. It's been awhile since I've stepped into a Meyer. Was I shocked. Now I knew this was a supermarket. IDK it was so much more. It's reminded me of a Super Walmart just way more organized. Everything is where it was suppose to be. Really how many times have you walked into a Walmart and found a rubber ball in the bread department or a pack of frozen hamburger defrosting in the can soup section? People just don't think. I looked to find things out of place and didn't see anything. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm saying there was so much staff that it taken care of right away if needed. Aside from the food, there's a craft section, an auto section, a hardware section, a garden section, well you get the idea. And this particular Fred Meyer is the smaller one for the area. THE SMALLER ONE?!?!?!? Overall four stars. This place has everything. I'm not giving five stars because I wasn't here long enough to really justify it. But it's close to being there. 07-25-24 I like this store. I went in for a couple of items. I find myself just walking up and down the aisles checking out stuff. The garden area is nice. The walkways are cleared and clean. I needed a new phone case, and they did not have the otter-box case for my phone. I bought a knockoff brand and it's doing the job. This is my second time here when I come and visit Oregon. I make it a point to stop by and see if there are any good deals. The restaurants in this area are good. read more

Went to the jewelers to get a necklace either replaced or repaired because I bought the lifetime warranty. They saw that I have two of the same necklace with lifetime warranties, and decided not to honor either, and gave me back my necklace and said to go to a different Fred Meyer to get it repaired or replaced. Not honoring a lifetime warranty is wack. read more

Sometimes I have interactions with employees who are rude, but I usually just let it go to them having a bad day or something. I've been coming to this location for a number of years and I always receive great customer service. The store is always clean and there are always employees stocking shelves so typically whatever you're looking for will be in stock with the exception of supply chain issues. I use the grocery pickup service every week and that team does a fantastic job. They are always friendly and get the pickup done quick. I do wish that they would give you a paper receipt with your order instead of just a digital one. read more

Courtesy clerk bringing carts in goes flying into a crowd, almost ran 2 of us over with his line of carts, didn't say excuse me, didn't apologize. When I said "excuse you," he stopped pushing his carts, turned around to glare at us. Then after he put the carts in the store, he came BACK out to glare at us more. This store forces you to work for them by offering one or two cashiers during peak hours. They charge for paper bags and management is very smug about the whole process. On a day where they are not busy it can still take up to 10 minutes to pay for your items unless you use self checkout (at least offer an employee discount if we are going to do your job) read more

Been coming to Wood Village Fred's since it opened back in the early '00s. It's very nice, clean, and has a pretty simple layout. I think the only inconvenience is the clothes and shoes are upstairs, so if you have a cart, you have to wait for the elevator- they also make you check out with the cashiers upstairs if you have apparel. Pretty smart, cause the escalators kind of lead to the exit so it can be an easy steal. It's a pretty big Fred Meyer and has a lot of everything that other Fred's has, (but not compared to the big Gresham Fred Meyers). Wood Village Fred's has a Chase bank and Starbucks inside, and a Fred Meyer jeweler. They also have a gas station on site, and located next to a Lowe's and Kohl's and a few dining restaurants. It's definitely a one-stop shop store as I can pretty much get everything I need, and for great prices. I've even ordered balloons from the floral dept and always had great success. They have made a self checkout on both entrances which is awesome. Customer service can be busy, but they are quick and helpful! read more

When checking out I went through one of the Cashier lanes. The cashier, Antonio, was checking my items he was very rude and aggressive with my items I tried asking how he was and he simply looked at me and ignored me. He talked with a negative tone made rude judgmental looks when looking at my items. When I pulled out a coupon he let out a notable sigh of disgust or something which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. when I got home I noticed that some of the items had noticeable marks and dents that werent there to begin with. I know for a fact it was the kid Antonio who did it cause I made the effort to remover his name. if you see him please avoid his lane because of his attitude and aggression. read more

One stop shopping! Located near the Kohl's you will find this giant Fred Meyers. WIth two floors the top being apparel this Freddies is massive. They also have a gas station here as well. The parking lot here is full since they put in the gas station, so parking can be a hassle at peak hours. The store is well maintained and the workers are friendly. There is also a Starbucks located inside the store. The veggies are fresh and you can find all of your grocery needs here along with an in house deli. I like that they have a wide selection of brands to pick from. I would also recommend downloading their app for coupons and specials. The pricing on groceries is competitive and the produce is fresh unlike what you'll find at Walmart. There is also a smaller electronics section with video games, movies and small electronics. The only real drawback to this Freddies is how crowded the parking lot is and spots are hard to find. Otherwise, it is a good place to shop. read more

I have had to stop shopping at this location due to constant accusations of me stealing. 1 of 3 things would happen every time would shop. 1. they would do a security check in an area I was exclusively shopping in by myself, 2. They would call an employee over to "zone" 20 or 30 feet from where I was at or, 3. They would stop me at the door and demand my receipt. I have never stolen anything from any store yet that is all this store thought I was doing, even though they have video of me consistently paying for all my items for over a year. I went in a while ago and got in line to check out but I was completely ignored by the cashier because he was to busy flirting with one of the baggers. If I remember correctly It was the cashier Antonio trying to flirt with the emo girl with bangs and glasses. Then I go in another time and the emo girl wasn't with him so this time he talked tried flirting with me. He asked personal questions like my age and if I have a boyfriend which I felt was completely unprofessional. I also even caught him staring at my chest and when asking him if hes good he just hit on me saying I look really good and such things. Mind you this man is just scanning my items and works here. Antonio truly made me feel uncomfortable and being a woman I shouldn't have to deal with men especially that work at the store I shop at to make me feel so uncomfortable. I have been to this location now several times since recently moving into the area. This was my first experience with a Freddys and I absolutely love it here. The selection, pricing, and the staff here are all amazing. When I used to live in Illinois we used to do all of our grocery shopping at Target, but the Target near this Freddys is beyond horrible (feel free to read my review about that location). Between the great sales that Freddys has and the coupons in their app, you can truly save a pretty good chunk of change here. On top of the great grocery selection, Freddys has a great selection for electronics, toys, home goods, furniture, books, and pretty much anything you'd need. We were surprised how great the "minute keys" kiosk in the vestibule was. We paid under $10 for two keys and got a third key for free. When we got home, all of the keys worked perfectly without any issues. The only complaint I would have would be that customer service could get a bit backed up. Many times when we've come in here there has only been one person behind the customer service desk. read more

When picking up groceries from Fred Meyer, we used to get a receipt of the items showing prices and quantity purchased. When did that stop? Also, when items are on sale, you have to buy the number specified in order to get the sale price. If the items are unavailable, why should the customer pay the regular price of the item. If there is no comparable item to what I'm purchasing. why should I pick a substitute? Why should I allow an employee of the store to pick my subs? To be clear, I did not purchase from this Fred Meyer location. I purchased at another store that does not allow Yelp reviews. I ordered an item where a quantity of four was required to get the sale price. Two of the four items were not available. Therefore, the store increased my price to full price in the two available items. Is that fair? NO. It seems like shopping at Fred Meyer is costing more and more these days. So my question: Why do I shop there? They put their items on sale, but seemingly, some of these items are never in stock. So is it a gimmick to get you in the store so you purchase higher priced items? Or do they just not have the items to begin with? I called the store and spoke with someone in customer service and was simply told. He couldn't offer me a refund for the items I did not receive because I wasn't charged, nor could he offer me a refund for the two items in question because I needed to buy four. That's fair in theory. But offer a solution, not a problem. however, he kept trying to transfer. It was very clear he did not want to help me because he kept trying to transfer to grocery pick-up. What do they have the authority to do? Nothing. His. Suggestion? Then, after being quite rude, he wanted to transfer me to management. What are they going to do? They tell him what to say. So, my solution from here on is do not chop at Fred Meyer any longer. read more

I went to return an expensive non-food item that didn't work as promised. I bought 30 days ago before COVID-19 under the return policies at that time. Today, I was told by customer service that Fred Meyers won't accept returns due to CDC guidelines. Okay, I haven't checked those guidelines as people, companies, and organizations interpret it differently. But okay, I'll accept that. Then Fred Meyers should have given me my money back without taking my item. It's their promise they failed to keep, not mine. I can't afford to buy things that DON'T WORK! Order groceries through the app and it cost about 9 to 10 bucks delivery fee plus tip if you want to leave one. Make sure you check ALL your bags before your driver leaves to refund you on whatever it it they forget to put in your bags because when you go to the app to get a refund on missing items it just has a glitch and ops you out without refunding you. So ya I'm out $7 bucks on human error and can't get a refund unless I call and wait on hold maybe. Best to go to the store instead. Only thing about my delivery I liked was the fact they have ph 9.5 water at a reasonable price. read more

This Freddie's is my go to spot to grocery shop. They've got a good selection of food, and their produce of far better than other grocery stores I've visited in the area. Checking out can be hit or miss. Sometimes there's not enough cashiers, and sometimes those cashiers just don't seem to care about doing their job efficiently. But overall it's usually not bad. I also like that I can easily pick up non grocery items I may need on the same place. read more

I was shocked...that this fred Meyers does not have good security cc,,cameras...last Saturday morning...between 9:15 thru 9:25am December 1st...I was in the crosswalk coming out of fred Meyers...by the starbucks entrance...and was pushing my cart and walkied into the crosswalk like ive do 100 times before... and I was about 3/4s the way thru crosswalk and a woman in a suv a white ford 2016 hit slammed with her suv into my cart about 12 inches into my cart and my cart slammed into the left front end of her suv it made a lowd noise and then the cart poped back and hit me across my lower chest and my upper right ribs..i am injured I stood in the crosswalk screaming..and no one came to my aide...there were people behind me..they commented but I was in so much shock I dint get there names etc as they witnessed it...pleas if anyone was a witness to this...after cking her suv the woman that hit me...walked slowly up to me YELLING AT ME... please call...Mult..cty Sheriffs office...503-988-7300...att deputy Sheriff... Was wondering why the ads in the store are missing pages. Looking at the website for FM, ad ending 3/31/18, there are two pages of the grocery Ad on the website that are not in the paper.Is this normal ? Would have given no stars but you have to give them something. My husband and I have been going here for years. Last night we were humiliated by the fact that their chip reader declined his visa/debit card even though it actually went through on my husbands bank end. The managers kept saying it was a pending charge it the bank said that the charge actually went through for $202.58. We stood there for 45 minutes arguing with the management that the charge did in fact go through. We left with no grouceries and a bank account short $202.58. Not only were we robbed but the management did not know squat of how to fix the problem! We got a $50.00 gift card to a store we will not be going back to. read more
