I am at the Fred Meyer Pharmacy on 240th in Kent, WA. This is my second trip to this pharm. I hope I never need to come back! My Dr. called in a prescription at 1pm. I came to the store at 3:20pm. The person told me that I didn't have a refill. I told her that my Dr called in a new prescription at 1pm. She said that they did not see the prescription. Then she said it might be on VOICEMAIL. Really? She said I would get a text when they found it. She said there were a lot of them.? REALLY. She was so rude. I told her I would wait. She said it would take a while. While I stood there for 30 seconds, the pharmasist said she found it on the VM. Obviously they don't check their VM very often. Then the person said I would have to wait for a text to pick up my med. Ceflex. About 30 minutes? Really?? 30 minutes for 15 pills? It takes that long when they had over 2 hours to fill it? She said they had many customers. There was nobody in line. And no one came in while I waited. They had 5 employees and nobody to check the voicemail? I am a Kaiser member. Never have I had any problem like this in 15 years. Especially the rude employees. Every time I call in for my refill to be filled they give me a time to pick it up. Once that time comes I give it an extra 30 to 40 minutes to make sure its ready. I drive all the way there and it's still not ready for pick up then they look at me like I'm the problem. Get real! I have to sit there wait another 30m to 1h I called yesterday morning to ask them to put in the system for my medication to be refilled at early he said 10:30 . I just called they said 1:30 now. So I went out my way to call ahead of time just so I have to wait all day when I have other things to do in other places to be. I don't want to drive in circles. While packing three kids around. They have really bad attitudes and there's no team work. The Authority will sit and let their people sink at the front desk and won't help. Garbage! read more

Been going for years. They have hired new people and the attitude is horrible! There are maybe three to four great employees still. Your lucky if you get them if not then it's rude. They had employees well dressed with great spirit. Today marked my first interaction with any Fred Meyer's Pharmacy. This location has a drive thru, is located in the front of the store and has a professional and knowledgeable Pharmacist that helped me. I picked up a new prescription that I have never taken before that was called in by my physician's office. I called ahead to verify the pharmacy had received the prescription. I asked the male Pharmacy Tech if they had it in stock and a Pharmacist was on duty to give me information. The tech was VERY hard to understand on the phone when I called as he had a thick Asian accent. He also was very short with me and hung up. The female Pharmacy Tech and Pharmacist on duty were very polite and understanding of my situation with new medication I had never taken before. As with any business or pharmacy depending on the time of day and mood of even one employee working near a customer can hit people the wrong way. It maybe a personal trait of the man working, but as a person with a new medical issue on new meds and somewhat nervous having someone short and hard to understand was a turn off. I will continue to use Bartell's in Mid-Lake (my first choice) or Bartell's in Issaquah instead of Fred Meyers based on my entire experience not just my interaction with the less than best customer service provided by one employee as sad and judgmental as that sounds. read more

My hubby and I were lucky enough to get an appointment for our Covid-19 shot. The Pharmacist, Lele, did a nice job of informing us about the protocol and possible side effects. She asked us to wait 15 minutes after we got our shots to make sure we did not have any issues. We are looking forward to going back for our 2nd Covid-19 shot. read more

Took a PX from my veterinerian to Beaverton Fred Meyers pharmacy, for 0.10 MG levothyroxine tablets, 180 Ct. They were happy to fill this perscription for $73.00+... I withdrew my order and called Chewy.com to compare prices. Chewy.com is filling my order for the same exact perscription content for $13.95 . I have been filling my prescription here for almost 2 years and it has been one horrific encounter after another. They fail to answer my question correctly when I ask if my doctor has called in my prescription to be filled over the weekend. If they say no I can call the doctor during office hours. So I call. Dr is super confused. Saying "I called it in, it's confirmed right here". Ok. Next issue. U call and ask did Dr call it in? They say "yes, I can fill it tomorrow "(referring to Saturday). I ask on Saturday for them to fill it. They say "ok, it will be ready soon. We are very busy so it might take some extra time". They didn't fill it so I come in to find out what at is going on. They don't have my medication in stocks. They know I need it since I have been getting it monthly for 2 years, same meds, sane dose, same day. They ghosted me from the moment they knew until I walked in the door. Then they told me I should have called, which I did. It must be a new prescription. It's not. That I am lying to them about calling. Which I'm not and will happily show my records of calling every month to ensure a smooth refil. I call like that because if I don't take my meds on time IT COULD KILL ME. But the pharmacist insists it is my fault. read more

The staff, especially the ones answering the phones, are incredibly rude and unhelpful. The woman I just spoke with was acting like I was an idiot for asking a question about my prescription. She was actually so mean she made me cry! Also they never seem to have my prescriptions ready when I need them so I'm constantly running out of pills. Horrible pharmacy and extremely disrespectful staff. So happy to be switching soon. I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews but the woman I was on the phone with treated me like an imbecile and had such a snotty tone in her voice that I wanted to warn others. Awful, awful pharmacy. Every time my doctor calls in a prescription I have to call them and make sure that they will actually fill it because I will wait an hour or longer and go in and it's never filled. Even if I wait a day before going in. It's NEVER filled. I finally started calling and asking them to actually fill it and half the time they would say that they were out of the medicine and then when I would inquire further it turns out that they were actually not but I get the same responses every damn time. Just awful customer service, we finally wised up and switched to Walgreens. read more

Having recently moved to Issaquah, I needed to transfer my prescriptions. This was my first time using a Fred Meyer's Pharmacy. I dropped off my 2 prescription requests and the technician told me they would call when ready the next day. They did call the next day and I went to pick up my prescriptions, however, only 1 was available so I had to go back the next day! That was irritating but they were really nice. I paid with my HSA card and when I got home, I looked at the receipt and realized that the cost was almost 3 times as much as I had paid in downtown Seattle! I was heading out of town, so a week later I went back to pharmacy to ask why it was so expensive. The tech was hard to understand as english was not his first language but he pretty much said I needed to deal with my insurance, there wasn't anything they could do. I waited and talked to Pharmacist/Manager and she looked up account and said that they charged right amount and that I needed to contact my insurance and that maybe FM was;t a preferred pharmacy. They couldn't do a cost adjustment. I called insurance (Premera) and they confirmed that Fred Meyer IS a preferred pharmacy and that their costs must just be higher. Nothing they could do, either. Bottom line - check around before you assume FM has cheapest or even comparable prices! Don't get stuck paying almost 3 times more than you should and still have to make 2 trips. I'll drive back downtown to my old pharmacy instead of just a few blocks next time. read more

I have been using this Pharmacy monthly for over a year now and I find the staff to be quick, pleasant and professional. Sure, as with most of the businesses in the Seattle area, you're going to find an employee that English is not their first language. (look around, what did you expect). With a little patience and attentiveness, you don't need Rosetta Stone to have a basic conversation with them. With our insurance, I find the price comparable to say Rite Aid or Walgreens. I have yet to try the drive-thru, maybe I'll put it on my bucket list! read more

My husband and I stopped off a prescription at 4:00 pm today, which I needed by this evening. We were told to come back in an hour to pick it up. When I came back at 6:40 to pick my prescription. When I checked in I was told they didn't have my prescription ready, but she would look for it. After 5 minutes, a switch in shifts, and them not being able to find my prescription, it turns out they were looking for the wrong item. The women who was helping me then found the correct item for me, but the problems continued. She let me they had already tried to process this, and insurance placed a hold on the prescription, wanting to know more information about why I needed it and to talk to my doctor. No one called either my husband or I to inform us of this, or solve this problem (which earlier in the day there would have been time for during office hours). The pharmacy let me know they were going to try to run it with a different code, or check another brand of the same item. After being there for over 50 minutes I finally walked out with my prescription (insulin) and the incorrect size needles (because they didn't have the correct size). This place was a joke and I let them know I would have my prescription tranfered to a different pharmacy, and will not be using them again. As a pregnant women, on top of this, I had to sit next to two sick kids the whole time I waited, once of which was "too sick to go to daycare." UPDATE - It keeps getting worse. When I got home my husband shared with me that he told them I had asthma. So they added a medication with a similar name to "asthma" on a list of drugs I am allergic to, which I most certainly am not. read more

I have used this pharmacy for years and cannot say enough good things about it. The people who work there are friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and really efficient. The lines are never really long and there is a drive-thru if you don't want to go into the store. They have an auto refill program where you can sign up to have your prescriptions filled automatically each month. They send a text message when they are ready. You can get flu shots, get your shopping done, and who doesn't like the Fred Meyer store with all the different departments and even a Starbucks? Love it!!! read more
