I arrived to the counter at 1:29 and was told that they were leaving for lunch and nobody could assist me. then the pharmacist proceeded to tell me I was ruining his lunch hour. I will never again come to this pharmacy again, they had no compassion and the tone in their voice was very rude. I am moving everything I used to get at this rite aid. I have tried for years to continue to support local stores but l can't anymore. This will be the 3rd trip I have had to make to pick up prescriptions that should have been ready and they aren't. Another time they called with a couple hours left to pickup a prescription I was not even aware was available. They had a problem with the alert system but would not hold the prescription. SMF. This location is chronically unable to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion, and many times incorrectly. Of my past three visits with renewal online TWO days in advance they have NOT been ready for pickup on time. And they usually miscount (low or high) at least half the scripts!! I generally hate giving very low reviews, but in this case I feel it's needed. read more

If I call the pharmacy and a specific new employee answers, she immediately puts me in hold hell. it's happened 3 times now. she never comes back. however if I call back and get anyone but her, they immediately help me with what ever prescription I need filled are always friendly. new employee is also rather rude in person. I will literally come back later just so I don't have to interact with them. I've been using this pharmacy for over a decade and now I actually wanna find a new one. this place has went downhill. read more

Whether it's just the usual prescription pick up or a booster/vaccination, they're always there and provide great advice and support! For sure the prettiest Rite Aid I've ever been in - recently remodeled - this place practically glows! This is my second Eastside Rite Aid review in this month - I'm apparently on a roll! haha! The Issaquah store is great - friendly, helpful staff and convenient for last minute shopping (i.e.: candy, token gifts, birthday cards, etc.) But what makes today's experience review worthy is the nail bar -- OH MY GOSH! So much fun! At least 4'x6' and double sided, their new nail bar is a rainbow of nail decor options! Never seen a display quite like this in a neighborhood drugstore - definitely worth checking out if you're a manicure geek like me! :) read more

I ran in here the other day to get a specific item (a particular vitamin and a particular brand). I had never been in this store before. I was in a time crunch and had to run in and out, literally. So I was SOOOO impressed how, upon entering the store, I could see at a glance where the vitamin section was (there were large signs suspended from the ceiling, over every section or department of the store). I was able to get to the vitamin section in a flash, and the shelves were so organized, I was able to find what I needed immediately. The line for the cashier moved promptly and the gal who checked me out was incredibly nice. I noticed how super-clean this store was, and as mentioned, how well organized. The only negative I can think of is the overall smell of the store. Immediately upon entering, I noticed this odd, pervasive odor. It's a subtle medicinal smell, sharp yet also sweet, strange. I'm not sure if it was an anomaly or if this store always smells this way, but it was not pleasant. Not to me, anyhow. Just strange. read more

Seems like they don't put all like things together which is frustrating (sale sunscreen hidden on a middle shelf in the middle of the store and all other sunscreen near the pharmacy - weird). Rite-Aid has not improved in their customer service. This update is for a couple months back. I had purchased an item while my husband had waited in the car. When I returned with my purchases - hubby said I had the wrong item. I ran back into the store - same check out cashier - a younger male - who then requested my receipt - he had my my cashier less than -5- minutes before - evidently he didn't give me my receipt or I lost it. I believe it to be the former. I paid with cash - I received a gift card good only at Rite-Aid. Is it any wonder I will drive to safeway if going down the hill or Bartells. read more

I went here today for some paper towels and left with a bad taste in my mouth! When I got up to the register the cashier was nice, friendly, and smiley. Or so I thought. They rung me up and when it was time to swipe my card it was declined. Immediately it was like a switch flipped. The cashier became cold, standoffish, disgruntled, and disgusted. I waited for my brother to bring in another payment method, which I had left in the car. When my brother came to my rescue I had to wait for a while longer because apparently you not only get a disrespectful customer service experience here but an inefficient one. The registers around began to crash, and scarce employees appeared frazzled and dumbfounded while the line grew ever longer behind me. I eventually got my paper towels and got out as fast as I could but regretted the entire experience. And I later checked the card balance only to conclude that the card decline was a system malfunction, not an error of my own. I'll cut y'all a little slack since we are in the midst of a pandemic and I know everyone's trying their best but in the future, classism really isn't a good look and you won't have my business again. read more

I went to the store to fill a prescription and asked to use the restroom. It is for both men and women. The bathroom was quite sketchy and I wanted to get out fast. I had placed my brand new Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses on the side of the sink. I went out and an employee was waiting to go in ( male). As I walked out to my car I realized I had left my new sunglasses in the bathroom. What do you know...no sunglasses. I asked at the counter (where the guy who was behind me for the bathroom was working) about my sunglasses being found. He didn't look up at all. It was cricket time at the Ok corral and I was out of an expensive pair of lenses and really disappointed that management could care less that basically there employee's stole from me. read more

Helped run me out of SSRI refills 24 hours before travel. I'd been trying to refill my prescription through rite aid for TWO WEEKS. A full week before my prescription supply ran out I visited the Issaquah Rite Aid pharmacy in person. "Sure, no problem, we'll contact the doctor for a refill, stop back by next week". On the next visit Rite Aid says "Ooops - it doesn't look like that happened... Or, the doctor never replied. Here's a 5 day supply, we'll get it straightened out." The night before travel I went to pick up the refills - "the doctor declined the refill. We already gave you a 5 day supply, so, sorry - no more. Usually we call people..." Errm... what? I've been working on this for 2 weeks, and in the span of 24 hours you've taken me from "no problem, we're on it to" -- "errm sorry too bad so sad"?? How am I supposed to get to a doctor now? Two weeks ago, a week ago, even 2 days ago - no problem - I could go see a doctor. But you're only telling me this NOW? I'm on a plane in the morning. Horrid patient care and management. read more

I had a similar experience to the review from 1/20/14. Maybe the same cashier. In our case when we asked how much cash back we could get, she said $40, but then she didn't want to give it to us and suggested we could use the ATM or go to the grocery store where they had bigger tills. When we ignored her objection and asked about the tutoring center across the parking lot, she warmed up gave us the cash back. She did ask where we were staying, I guess because we were buying single use laundry detergent. The store was clean and otherwise a typical Rite Aid. 0 rating!.....I went for Covid booster shot today - 12/08/2021 (as a walk-in). I specifically mentioned that I needed Pfizer vaccine when I filled out the form. The pharmacist who gave the shot today made me wait while he called 2 people behind me in the line to give the vaccine. Finally, he asked me to come in but didn't ask my name or verify my name and other details nor did he bother to tell me what type of vaccine he was going to give me. After I received the shot, I asked him if he gave me the Pfizer vaccine and he said "Yes". I looked at the vaccine card after I came home and noticed that he had written Moderna. I have no problem getting different type as CDC approved it but he could have informed me upfront that he was giving me the Moderna vaccine or could have been honest when I asked him after the shot. The management at this location need to look into this kind of behavior seriously. read more

This store has been recently remodeled and the staff are pleasant, but I can't recommend the store. Their prices are way higher than Fred Meyer, Target, etc. A couple months ago I stopped in for some Chloraseptic spray that was advertised as 25% off. The 25% sale brought Rite Aid's price down to pennies more than Fred Meyer's regular price! Yesterday, we had a prescription faxed in from Harborview Hospital as my husband was being released. We would have normally used our neighborhood pharmacy, Lakemont Pharmacy, which give great service - but they do close earlier and we were not sure how early we would get him out of the hospital. We decided to have the pain med prescription faxed to the Issaquah Rite-Aid. We showed up more than two hours after the fax was sent and they had not even started on the prescription - and didn't even know they had it. I could have just carried it with me and had it filled just as quickly. It appears they don't check their faxes very often. My sick husband had to wait 15 additional minutes in the car for them to finally fill it. So even though the store is modern and the staff are pleasant, why shop somewhere when their non-prescription products are way more expensive than the competition and where prescriptions aren't ready more than two hours after being faxed in from a hospital? There are many better options in Issaquah. read more

The remodel makes the place much more inviting. All of the employees were very helpful during the remodel. Today is 4 days before Christmas and the store was busy but the employees worked fast to get everyone through the line quickly and even came to help me find items. Very happy. read more
