Shrimp & Fries

We stopped here on our way to Key West - Overall we experienced amazing food and friendly service! Before you order you get warm bread with garlic and oil: 15/10. We shared the shrimp and fries - the shrimp is massive and we both enjoyed the light, tasty breading. We also split a tiramisu and OMG. SO GOOD. Served with fresh strawberries on top and a beautiful presentation. There's an authentic vibe and Frank's cousin was running the kitchen. Family owned and true to tradition.

Best Italian food in the Keys. Our friend Jay brought us here for dinner tonight and we were blown away by the food, atmosphere and hospitality. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, it's not just the food that's memorable but the feel of coming home and having dinner with family. Double chefs kiss!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with my daughter. We loved the red pepper pasta, lasagna and cannoli. The service was superb! Friendly, helpful and fun! The restaurant was cozy and had great vibes.

Great food and service. Cozy inside. Reservations are highly recommended as seating is limited. We got the grouper française special with lobster bisque and noodles with red sauce. We also had the fried calamari appetizer and the chocolate marquise for dessert. Everything was absolutely amazing! Grouper francaise was the best fish dish I have ever had! The chocolate marquise was the most chocolaty dessert I have ever had. I highly recommend this place!!!

First of all, Rose was the highlight of our visit to Frank's. Such a wonderful server. We got the lasagna and the Alfredo and while we didn't love the lasagna the Alfredo was to die for. I probably would skip the chicken next time, but definitely add broccoli. Delish!

We weren't expecting this to be in a strip mall hence 1 star off. Other than that it was pretty good. Very popular, reservations needed unless you're ok eating at outside tables in front of the restaurant. The food was good but didn't blow us away as the noodles felt like Barilla or something else store-bought, mass made. Service was friendly, overall good, just be prepared for a neon-sign strip mall restaurant.

Chicken Alfredo made with homemade Alfredo sauce! Delicious! Chefs kiss!

I love me a good hole in the wall local favorite type of place. Don't let the outside fool you! This is one of the most authentic Italian places I have ever been to. Chefs kiss! Amazing service from our lovely server, she's such a sweetie and I wish I took her name down. I usually don't care for marinara sauce but theirs was homemade and delicious! Not many people know how to cook true Alfredo sauce and again, theirs homemade and wow!! This place is a must when visiting marathon!

Five star service! Food is cheap and good. We like the ceaser salad with blackened fish, lasagna is good too.

We got seated inside just as the sun was starting to set. Sadly all the guests that had finished eating right before us decided to walk over to the dock outside the restaurant which just so happened to be the exact viewing location for the sunset so we didn't get any really good photos of it bc there were so many people over there videoing it and taking photos. It was still nice scenery while we waited for our food though. I ordered ceviche to start us off as our appetizer and it was really good. My dinner was a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was supposed to be a white cream sauce but it was really runny. Even adding extra Parmesan cheese to it didn't help thicken it. It tasted ok. Not my best pick. I had a choice of soup or salad with it. I chose their she crab soup and I'm glad I did. It was great. Almost reminded me of homemade chicken and dumplings soup just with crab. I really liked it. I should have stopped with that and the ceviche. My husband got a grouper fish sandwich. He thought it was good but the prices were a bit high for what it was. His fish sandwich was $29. Although good, not worth $29. My pasta definitely not worth the $31. May be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was decent.

The food was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. It definitely has a bit of a 1970s, rough around the edges, Old Florida vibe, but that's part of the charm. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just a great casual spot for lunch while passing through Marathon Key. At the end of our meal, we watched the kids feeding the fish by the marina, which was a fun way to finish the visit. Great food, great service, waterfront atmosphere, and plenty of character. We'd definitely come back.
