For my first visit, my review is a solid 3. The line of people on Sunday was nearly out the door. They were very busy. Mostly with what looked like to go orders but a lot of people to be seated as well. Also Frank's is Breakfast all day! -I dont stop for a lot of breakfast usually, unless they have chipped beef gravy. Otherwise I cook my own breakfast and go out for lunch or dinner. I saw Frank's on Yelp and it happened that I was right across the road. Off I went. - After being seated I ordered coffee. Then a couple min later, I ordered my food. They had sausage gravy and country gravy. Just to be sure, I asked the difference. Country gravy is sausage gravy without the sausage. I ordered the Country gravy with biscuits. Comes with two eggs and fried potatoes. When the dish was set in front of me I noticed right away it was sausage gravy. I don't like sausage but I didn't say anything. I just picked most of it out. Scrambled eggs could have used about 40 more seconds in the pan. Slightly runny Scrambled eggs. Potatoes were ok. An associate of Frank's came over and asked me how everything was. It would be easy to say everything is good then write a poor review, but I didn't do that. It was hard but I did advise the mistake with my gravy order and I did advise the eggs were rather runny. I told him I know this place was so so busy and they're new in town. I'm sure the kitchen was barely holding on. I'd like to come again. They have breakfast all day and a lunch menu. My order was under $11. Yes, Sir!.. Go give them a try. Be patient. And dress light. I didn't feel any air conditioning. It was hot, crowded, and crazy busy.

Chicken tenders and fries. Honey mustard, ranch dressing. Then a waffle with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and home fries.

Wow! It was my boyfriend and I's first time trying this place and it was wonderful. The servers were attentive and the place was clean. I ordered the chicken tenders because I saw someone else order them and they looked awesome. She warned me it takes a bit longer to cook because they're home made and made to order. No issue there. Everything was served hot and was very fresh. Everything was well flavored and seasoned. Will definitely be a place we will frequent.

Great food, great service and fast friendly staff. Past reviews of less than 5 stars are wrong.

This place has the best breakfast in Culpeper! We have been several times and it has been great every time.

Very tasty burger with the grilled onions. The house-made chips are also good. My only complaint is the tiny "side salad" that I ordered. That it would be an upcharge with my burger but was charged $7 for the small salad. Server confirmed after questioning the bill.

The interior gives upscale sports bar vibes. We chose a high top table toward the back of the restaurant. Our server ended up being the bartender too. They had $5 margaritas that night so I ordered one and we started with an order of their pierogies. There were four and they were served over a smear of their beer cheese. There were ok. I wanted more seasoning in the filling itself. It was pretty bland. For my entree I got their hot dog with chili and cheese with their housemade chips. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cheese sauce on the dog. It was pretty good. Some of the chips were pretty overcooked. The service brought this score down. I think the bartender was busy but plenty of servers were available. There was a lot of conversation at the bar. We probably should have just sat there. We missed out on drink refills, having our order taken promptly, and getting the check when we were ready to leave. Overall there were a lot of interesting things on the menu. I would want to return to see what else tasted good.

The Sausage gravy was a white, almost flavorless gravy. You could see bits of sausage in the gravy, but it sure did not taste like anything. It was very underseasoned. I added salt, pepper, and hot sauce to impart some flavor to it. The eggs, corned beef hash, and hashbrowns were cooked properly. The corned beef hash is of the canned variety, but it was crisped up nicely. And the hash browns were crispy. I added a bit of salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns, and hot sauce on the corned beef hash. If I had not tried the Sausage gravy and biscuits - this would have been a 4 or 5 star review. My server asked me during checkout how everything was. I articulated my experience with the Sausage gravy. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #4CsRestaurant

Peppers Grill - Homemade Crab Dip. I don't Not Recommend. Nor the Pita Bread that comes with it. That's a hard pass for me.

I already knew. Come on. But..ok. House made crab dip it is. It was like orange yogurt on a plate with hard, crunchy Pita bread for dipping. There was no crab visible or crab flavor at all. And as stated the "Pita bread" was hard. -went to the breakfast buffet in the morning, (free as its a partnership with the hotel) It was eh. Even though im not a fan of sausage gravy i did put a little on my biscuit. Its the sausage gravy that has miniscule sausage bits in it but doesn't smell or taste like sausage. Bacon was ok I guess. Im picky with breakfast. I love making my own. Anyway.. - That night coming back from events, We stopped in again for mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. These were good and a plentiful amount. Not 4 for $8 like most places.more like 7 or 8 for $12 which i feel is better. At least you're full. We noticed there was a buffet open! I asked about it. One time Salad bowl (not per pound) was $2.99 Wish I saw that before I got the mozzarella sticks! And a back room party with full on buffet and music I could hear in my room on the hill until 11pm. I didn't mind that at all. Because once the music went quiet, I could hear the butt smacks in my next door rooms.:( so where I would have given a 1 star the first night, I will give a 2.8 overall. We'll call it a 3. A LOT of locals come to have a good time and book rooms for party's and lots of buffets. Everyone seemed happy. Waitresses were nice.. we agreed to come back and put an extra effort into exploring all their options. (I didn't see peppers anywhere so not sure what the name is all about)
