I thought about going to a chain but Frank's Auto Body has good reviews so I figured I'd give them a try. Very good decision! Admittedly I had to do this during quarantine so the service may have been slightly different than "normal" but if that's what it's like stressed and with limitations I assume the service here is amazing! First, making an estimate appointment was easy and friendly. They made sure to call me and give me reminders and made sure I knew exactly where they were located. The estimate was quick but thorough and completely professional and friendly. She was able to explain to me the process and gave me honest information. Second, the work done was great! I was referred to Frank's by multiple friends after having some very frustrating experiences with other shops. I called and was easily able to make an appointment for an estimate. I was very happy with the process and CJ explained everything that needed to be fixed. He was honest and upfront about costs and the timeline for repairs. Other shops provided estimates for less and when I questioned them stating it seemed like more work would be required, they said well, when we get in there we'll see and just charge you more if we need to as we go. That didn't sit right with me. At the estimate appointment we scheduled the work and they were able to get my car in faster than any other shop. Dropped my car off and they fixed it right up. Good as new! Every staff member was so nice. The front desk staff were friendly, answered my questions, even offered to call me a ride to get my rental car. I selected Frank's Auto Body because my insurance company recommended them. The insurance company said that they would guarantee Frank's Auto Body Work For Life on my car. Also, this body shop had good reviews. I didn't leave a review in the month that I received my car back because the concerns I had weren't something that I wanted to share and I really want to just to move on. It is my Yelp policy to give more positive reviews than negative reviews even if I don't care for the place I won't give them a negative review. I decided to post this review today, because the few little things that happened to me annoy me and I feel that it would be good to share with other people so they know what One customer thoughts about Frank's Auto Body. The person who answers the phone and runs the front office was always pleasant, polite, and professional. The waiting area was simple but nice. That's the positive feedback I have for you, but here were the things that annoyed me: My auto insurance was pushing me to Total out the car even before it had reached its estimated total that would have garnered a totaling out of the title. When I talked to my insurance company about this pressure and that I didn't appreciate it, I was told it was as a favor to me. I wanted to keep my car, so I did not appreciate them putting the pressure on me and then calling it a favor to me when I had clearly communicated that I wanted to keep the car. A threshold damage dollar amount was established. Frank's Auto Body worked on my car, looking at damage and totaling it up. They stopped looking for problems immediately after they had reached $10 over the dollar amount that would have totaled my car. I explained to my Frank's Auto Body customer service contact that I would want to retain the car and have the damage repaired. He said they wouldn't continue evaluating the car for damage even though that's what I had asked for. I reminded him that I could easily hire Frank's Auto Body to do the work. The Frank's Auto Body customer service man said "we don't work on cars with totaled titles". This was shocking to me as I've been to many auto body shops and had work done plus of course mechanical shops as well. Never in my life has any company asked to see the title of my car. Because of this, I didn't believe that Frank's Auto Body really wanted to do the work. It was clear that they were working for my insurance company. So that is my point to you as a consumer, if Frank's Auto Body is working with your insurance company, then remember they're working for your insurance company and not looking out for your best interest. I would also like to mention that my Frank's Auto Body customer service rep wasn't friendly, and he was dismissive and cold. Additionally, when I went to pick up my car, they showed me some items in the trunk. When I was alone, I reviewed the items, and there were Parts in a box which was marked with a make and model of a car that wasn't mine. I took this box and it's contents into the shop and asked my customer service rep to take back the wrong part. He explained that it was just a recycled box, and they were actually my car parts. I asked them why they were in a box and not in the engine, and he said they couldn't put them back. Why? I don't know, and unfortunately, I didn't ask because I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Finally, they put parts in my trunk directly onto the carpet with no box or anything to protect the carpet in the trunk. As a result of their negligence, I have engine oil on the carpet in the trunk that was otherwise pristine. I attempted to clean the oil out, but of course, it's there forever. I do not recommend Frank's Auto Body if you're working with your insurance company, and they're in cahoots with Frank's Auto Body. Frank's will be working with your insurance company and not looking out for your best interest. Plus, they don't take care of your vehicle, and potentially lie to you ( such as we don't work on cars with totaled out titles. If this is important to you, check it out personally because maybe that is the truth) So those are all the items that have been plaguing me for many months, and I really wanted to share it with other consumers so they don't need to go through the same thing. read more

We used Frank's Auto Body for the first time 10 years ago for an accident with our Infiniti I30. When we got our car back, it looked like nothing ever happened. So I guess you could say that Frank's Auto Body is like the ServePro of Body Work! They truly did an amazing job! Then three years ago, my husband was hit by an elderly woman who turned left into the post office and didn't yield to oncoming traffic. We have a 2015 Acura TLX and the front end was pretty damaged. We went back to Frank's and they fixed it back beautifully as usual with sensors and all! We have the ADV package on our TLX so this was super important. Their communication was top notch and they did everything right. Fast forward 3 years and we started to see some peeling on the front bumper where Frank's had repaired it 3 years earlier. We called them and they immediately said to bring it down to them. They said that their vendor may have used a non-primed bumper and they took our car for about 5 days and had it ready as good as new. We picked it up yesterday and it's so shiny and beautiful again! So not only does Frank's do a great job, they stand by their work! That is truly unusual in this day and age to have a body shop be so ethical and truthful! It's unfortunate that I experienced this, but I drive by this place everyday and I thought to give it a try as I needed a SIMPLE quick look at my bumper and I was; 1. Greeted by some grumpy old lady that has no business at the main counter. 2. Rude as crap. 3. "What do you need" is how she greeted me. 4. I told her May I get an estimate? NO she said to me not today. 5. Didn't ask me to come back nothing. This is what makes business owners lose their asses because of people like this lady. I have used Frank's Auto Body twice before this most recent repair. They have always provided quality and professional service, not cheap, but good quality. I feel I was upcharged for no discernible reason during this most recent transaction. I was provided a quote after one person performed their evaluation. Based on that quote in comparison to my four other quotes, I chose Frank's even though they were still a little higher in price. I was ok with that due to my previous experience. Then, after I turned in my vehicle, I was later called and informed the service will cost several hundred dollars more and the previous evaluation missed certain things. Not happy, I said proceed. Upon completion of the repair, I performed a visual inspection with my Service Coordinator "CJ". I voiced my displeasure with the increase and he basically shrugged it off. They did a satisfactory job. BTW, I was having my front bumper repainted, not a huge job. I guess my issue with the transaction is that when given a quote (all quotes include wiggle room for the unexpected), if you're going to increase it by 26%, provide reasonable support to substantiate the increase. They did not. Frank's Auto Body is just another body shop. Shop around and get multiple quotes and hold them to the price. Frank's apparently feels price is a moving target. read more

one of my good clients referred me to frank's for my car door handle cover to be fixed. she raved how good they are and how nice everyone is so even before going i would recommend it to everyone! yes i did go to the dealer to ask how much they would want to charge me but i still decided to go and support a small business as i have one too. the receptionist was very sweet i forgot her name but she told me she just got hired a little over a week ago and already had better people skills compared to the lady who she passed me too. i proceed to tell the other lady the problem and she hits me with the "well we would have to order the part and paint it so i don't know how much it is" which i would like to think is a given! and i proceed to say oh yea well can u search it up please? she proceeds to tell me "you should just take it to the dealer cause that's just too much work" it's a car door handle cover.... all it needs to be done is order the piece and pant it and install it.
