I thought going to the dealership would be the best way to have a dash cam installed in my new RAV4. I won't be going back for my tow package though. After making the final payment I discovered the dash cam didn't work. They acted surprised like they didn't know but I find that hard to believe that they didn't flip the switch to turn it on after installing it. They were sure to get my second half of the money though. They couldn't figure out the problem so I had to leave like that after paying with a non working dash cam. I didn't get it resolved for several weeks. I was very shocked to learn they use customers vehicles to shuttle themselves and other customers back and forth to the main building. I'm sure there are laws against doing this. It's sad because they seem really nice. Just not very professional. read more

Purchased a Tacoma TRD Pro from Toyota Findlay and got a deal of a free running boards and tonneau cover. Findlay Custom installed these and didn't give back my factory oem rails. I had to call and go back to Findlay Custom the next week to get them back. When I was there it was all good until I asked the guy at the back if they still had the screws that came with the OEM side rails. The guy got lazy and told me some BS that they used it in the new running boards that was installed which was not true. I went home and installed the OEM rails and its missing 2 bolts cause the new running boards only used 6 bolts whereas the OEM uses 8. If you search for Rough Country (great taste findlay custom smh) BA2 running boards, you will find that these boards come with its own set of screws. Watch when you get aftermarket installed at this shop cause they will not give back your OEM parts back. read more

Not only is there several options these days for window tints, but the levels of service and quality out there. Being an offshoot of Findlay Motors, I hoped they would keep the highest levels of all of it - I wasn't wrong! Initially I tried calling on a Saturday morning, and ended up leaving a message. I didn't wait for them to call back, but reached out to them calling again on Monday afternoon; at which time I set up an appointment for the following Saturday morning. Dropping the vehicle off to them the day of the appointment was easy. They explained my choices, and after some short discussion, they pulled my vehicle into the garage. Jimmy and his team did an awesome job for applying Llumar IRX tint on my Tesla model Y. I've been checking it like about 3 weeks now and couldn't find any flaws. Price was very reasonable finished up for entire car windows, front, back, top as about 1000. Compared most of the window tint shops in Vegas (spent like 2 days) and they were the best one. They are located in Findley Toyota so I was little awkward but it seemed more reliable since they do not put any "premium price tag" due to that fact. I have a 2003 Lexus LS 430 and 2 months ago they put high quality lowering coil overs on my car. Everybody was great... springs settled and they readjusted it. So happy I tipped a couple workers. Getting use to lowered car I noticed Damping needed adjusting and called to make appointment. The guy was a little rude said lowering springs don't have damping adjusters. I said I bought adjustable coil overs and made an appointment. At my appointment same guy little rude paid no attention. Happy with there work I asked about painting my car a different color. I had just bought my Camry on Saturday at Findlay Toyota, and it was a whole ordeal. I was promised by my sales-person that I would get ceramic tint, and instead they put normal tint. I was quite upset with my sales person, but we did come to an agreement and they paid for my tint to be done by Findlay Customs. And boy, did Findlay Customs do an amazing job!! Jimmy was so responsive, and he made sure to call and update me about everything and told me the steps of how they'd have to strip the previous tint and how long it would take. I used to come here to get all my car work done. My last time getting work done was a nightmare. Exhaust on my Jeep they bought the wrong exhaust and looked like little soda cans coming out of the back. They ended up putting the right exhaust on because I had to research and show them. Once they did pipes were not centered and looked awful ended up talking to the manager at the time and he did take care of it and was really nice because he even admitted it was pretty awful. Now, I am not sure if its new management or what changed but it's a complete rip off. $450 to hard wire a radar when 4 the truck wanted $200. $1,000 for tint when I got another quote from RBO same exact job for $450. Mike, I appreciate you reaching out. I did send emails in with these same pictures attached to them. You responded and wanted me to bring my car in, in which I wanted to know how you were going to fix the issue with the quality of getting my car back. During the warranty fix, I dropped my car off clean, and received it back dirty. I understand that you didn't work on it right away, but the fact that I got it back in the condition I did, and your team was ok with returning a dirty car, shows that your shop may not take quality in their work. If I drop my car off clean at a dealership for repairs, I get it back clean. Simple. It had already been in for one warranty visit, in which I told them the front bumper had rock chips, which I showed them the front bumper, and we agreed that portion would not be covered under warranty. I understand that is from actually driving the car, and I wasn't worried about that, since that was not the warranty issue area. As far as not having my number, Eric didn't have that hard of a time getting ahold of me to let me know when the material was originally in, or when I could come pick my car up. I don't know why you would think I would leave my new car with someone without giving them a way to get ahold of me. So long story short, I did let you know about the issues, but you never resolved my concern about the condition I got my car back in, and how you were going to fix it. I paid you guys a premium to do the work, and didn't feel like I got premium work done. read more
