We chose Polar Tint based on strong recommendations and initially had a positive impression, as the staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived for our 10:00 AM appointment on May 15. We planned to have all windows tinted, including the windshield. The team walked us through tint options, pricing, and payment details, which we appreciated. However, this consultation took about an hour, and by 11:00 AM, our vehicle had still not been started, despite having a set appointment. We were told the job would take approximately 2-3 hours due to the windshield tint, so we left and expected a call once the work was complete. Unfortunately, we did not receive any updates throughout the day. By 4:00 PM, after finishing work, we returned to the shop only to find that our car had still not been worked on. At around 4:15 PM, it was clear the vehicle hadn't even been started, and the installers were just returning from a break. We were then told there had been an "issue" with the windshield and that it would take "about another hour." Ultimately, we didn't receive our car until around 7:00 PM -- nearly nine hours after our scheduled appointment time. While the staff remained courteous throughout, the overall experience was very disappointing. The primary concerns were the lack of communication and inaccurate time estimates. If there had been delays, we would have appreciated proactive updates rather than having to return and discover the situation ourselves. Additionally, the pricing was not particularly discounted compared to other shops, which made the experience feel even less justified. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Polar Tint. While the customer service demeanor was friendly, the significant delays and lack of communication made the process frustrating and inconvenient. read more

THIS COMPANY Deserves ZERO STARS ! This was one of the most unprofessional service experiences I've had. The tint job was poorly executed and inconsistent across multiple windows, clearly not done with care or attention to detail. When I returned under warranty for them to correct their work, I was met with rude, condescending, and dismissive behavior from both the alleged "representative of the owner" whose name is Edward and a childish receptionist. Instead of standing behind their service, they minimized the issue, told me my expectations were "too high," and refused to correct their mistakes. I was essentially pushed toward disputing the charge after I was told to do so because I wasn't getting my money back willingly. Rather than them offering a proper resolution they mocked me. A business that doesn't respect its customers or honor its warranty should not be charging premium prices. I would not recommend them to anyone expecting professional results or basic customer service. To add insult to injury they called the police as if I was some sort of threat . The police instructed me on how to obtain a refund and they also gave me a referral to a tint company that actually knows what they are doing. After having my car inspected by the reputable company I was referred to by the police, I was told the issue was a bad installation done by POLAR TINT installers (pretty obvious). DO NOT PATRONIZE this establishment. They do bad business and need to be shut down. read more

They had a special going on and the price was competitive than the others. They took me in next day, but the time pushed a little longer than expected as of course when others are late, it pushes other customers times. However, they finished before the day ended and did an awesome job on the tint! Customer service was excellent and super friendly right to walking up to the door! read more

Polar Tint did a great job. Edward is very responsive. The windows look great. I did need one touchup and he sent a crew out to take care of it. I'm very appreciative that he followed up. His customer service is second to none. I would recommend them to anyone. Sone other companies will ignore you after the sale not this one. read more

Great service, fair pricing, and quality results I needed my car windows tinted but wasn't sure if it would fit my budget. I posted a project on Yelp, and Polar Tint responded quickly with a competitive quote--significantly lower than others offering what seemed to be the same service and product. I went with Polar and couldn't be happier. They got me scheduled right away, and when I arrived, the team was warm and welcoming. Ed took the time to explain the different tint levels and upgrade options without any pressure. I went with the base product, which suited my needs perfectly. My car was ready in under two hours and looks fantastic. Highly recommend Polar Tint for affordable, professional window tinting! read more

This is my second vehicle I've brought here for window tinting, and once again they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The quality of work is excellent, the staff is friendly and professional, and the whole process is smooth and reliable from start to finish. Their pricing is amazing compared to other competitors, and as a first responder, I really appreciate that they offer a discount on top of their already amazing pricing--it genuinely means a lot. It's hard to find a place that consistently delivers great results and phenomenal customer service, and that's exactly why I continue to bring my vehicles here. Highly recommend! read more

I had a HORRIFIC experience with this shop and strongly warn anyone who cares about their vehicle to stay far away. I brought my 2023 Cadillac CT-5 V in for a full tint job, paying over $1,500 and gave the installers $100 cash tip each. Based on the expectation of high-end work. The level of negligence, property damage, and utter disrespect I received in return is completely unacceptable. The damage and poor workmanship: First, property damage. They severely scratched my sunroof glass all the way around. Then, sloppy reassembly. They popped my door panels off and reinstalled them completely missing the bolts and covers. There were safety hazards: I found discarded razor blade pieces on my driver's floorboard, a massive liability and safety hazard. And abysmal quality: After waiting the standard 7 days to inspect the film, the tint has visible creases, and one window has a massive, careless gap. Not to mention how FILTHY they left my car full of grime and dirt and old tint glue everywhere. The experience and customer service: They scheduled me for 12:00 PM on a Saturday but rushed through the job after closing hours just to leave. There was absolutely zero quality control. They didn't even bother to say "let's go look at the car." They just took my payment, took my generous tips, and it was basically "thanks and goodbye." When I went back to address the damage, the owner immediately deflected blame. Only after persistent pressure did he finally admit his shop caused the scratches on the sunroof but offered no solution for that. They offered to re-do the window and replace the missing bolts, but given how horribly they treated my car the first time, I rightfully refused to let them touch it again. When I demanded a partial refund for the blatant negligence and damage, the owner hid behind a "no refund policy." After going back and fourth highlighting the damage and the razor blade liability, I finally said you guys messed my car up and the owner snarkily replied, "Does your car still run? Does your car still drive?" This is an appalling way to run a business. They took top-dollar pricing, accepted a tip meant for professionals, and treated a high-end vehicle like garbage. I am posting pictures of the scratches, the missing hardware, the razor blades, and the terrible tint gaps to prove exactly what this shop's "workmanship" looks like. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I had my Tacoma tinted here and couldn't be happier with the experience. They were incredibly fast to book me in, the prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the work was amazing. On top of that, they offer a lifetime warranty, which really shows how confident they are in their work. My truck was done within a couple of hours, and the pickup process was super easy and smooth. These guys are true pros. After drop-off, they even sent me a full profile with over 100 pictures of my car for quality control, which I really appreciated. Everything was excellent from calling to see how much a quote would be on my car. to the man running the front desk, being very welcoming and nice, even showing us the difference in tints. The quality of this location is amazing! The owner is former military and his wife is a teacher so that means they take care of their own. The owner dealt with me for hours as it took a few hours for the old tint to come off. He was kind and patient. If you are on the fence between the good, better and best in way of tint.....splurge and get at least the better. The better blocks out 80% of the heat and I've put the tint to the test! 100° day at work, having to park my car on the roof of my company's parking garage.....AT LEAST 20° COOLER THAN IT WAS WITH MY OLD FADED TINT. Trust me, the $100 (even go for the best and block out 90% of heat) is worth not having to Blast AC, not having to sweat while you're at a red light and not having hot as hell steering wheel. Your decision is made, get your tint here! read more

I went here to get my windows done in August of 2023 on my model X. Everything was great, and I loved their work. I called back earlier this week to get my falcon doors done (just the roof windows) and they couldn't locate my account. What is the point of saying you have a lifetime warranty if it is not being honored? They call me back a few hours later and say they found it on their old system and that it would be $120 for the falcon doors, with the same exact product they used throughout the rest of my car. I scheduled the appointment, show up and the lady at the front tells me it'll be $299. I'm 8 months pregnant and had to drive 30 mins away to get here for them to tell me the price is different. I'm upset and frustrated. Never going back here ever again. read more

Edward was super quick to respond to my inquiry requesting a quote to tint my vehicle. They were able to provide service immediately, same day, within the hour, after I called to discuss details about the amazing promotion currently running at 50% off installation of 20% ceramic tint for front, rear, and back windows. Very informative about how each level of ceramic tint blocks out not only the sun but more importantly the heat. Literally took them an hour to complete the installation...and warranty covers for an entire year. No need to look anywhere else if you are looking for quality installation at a very competitive price!! Highly recommend Polar Tint to anyone looking for this service as my vehicle left looking very Frosty!! read more

Soooooooo, I come in at 1130 dude that helps me was super friendly. That's cool we picked out tint, he tells me the price im good with the price. He says its gonna be around 4pm when its ready, im like ok I can deal with that i dont have anywhere to go for a couple hours. At 435 I called asking if they were done or the status on my car, because they close at 5pm. The lady that answered was super nice she let me know that it would take longer than usual lmfao. Said you can come and get it in a couple of hours they are not finished wtf or they would lock it up overnight in the garage. So I hit lyft up to come get me to go check on my car. I get there its still in the same spot as when I left if,I am saying we'll dam how can it be and she said they are working on it BS. I go inside and tell the girl at the desk that I came to get my key to my car. She asked what model car it is, I told her she said would you like to schedule an appointment? I was nah im good. Nice ppl but communication sucks and at this point it questions the workmanship weather or not if it is really the 4.5 stars that they have on the site.I dont wanna have any test experiments on my car to see if they've learned how to tint. They can do that on someone else's windows I dont want them practicing on my car only for me to have to pay someone again to retint my car somewhere else. read more

The quality was excellent and for a reasonable price. Very happy with the work they did.

I opted to go with their top ceramic tints including the front windshield on my 2020 Honda Odyssey and at first, was a little worried that I had paid too much since this was the first time I've ever had ceramic tints on any of my cars. But the reason I decided to go with ceramic was because my odyssey has huge windows and with summer already here, I wanted to get the best option to reduce heat buildup in my car. When I picked up the car, I immediately noticed the slight blue tint on the front windshield and got worried that I'd get pulled over since I live in SoCal. But the slight blue tint actually helps a lot with glare reduction and makes it easier to see on those bright sunny days. After all of the tints finally dried up after a few days and all air bubbles disappeared, the tints looked great! And most importantly, the higher grade ceramic tints (S-9 on all windows and Air70 on the front windshield) definitely makes a huge difference on heat reduction! It was over 100-degrees one day and the car was parked all day in the sun and when I went inside, it was warm but not that hot scorching heat I was expecting on a normal hot day. Also, when I turned on my A/C, I didn't even have to leave it on full blast for very long as inside the car got really cold after about 10 minutes so I'm saving on fuel also! The staff at Pro Tint USA were super friendly and very responsive on Yelp when I inquired for a quote. Just FYI, if you ask for quote for ceramic tint, they will give you quote for the entry level ceramic tint which still reduces heat but only at ~55%. I wanted the highest heat reduction possible so ended up spending around $400 more than I had planned but it was well worth it in my opinion since I get about 93% heat reduction instead. read more

Update: I returned to the establishment to have repairs made. Edward consulted with me regarding the damages to the vehicle during install, the state of the tint job, and the gaps. - the gaps are to their industry standard, and they do not install to the edge, fyi. No remedy. - photos of vehicle before install were not of quality enough to prove the damage to the vehicle didn't exist before install. No remedy. - Edward reinstalled windows with defects. Note, it was of concern to me that he stated some of wich are not visible 3 feet away from the exterior of the car, and that is the standard of a defect warranting replacement. - repair was taken place on 12/02 and I am still showing signs of improper curing in the dot matrix of my windshield. See attached photos of response. - Edward was helpful, but very concerned with this review and it changing. I let him know that if an appropriate remedy to the issues in my review were made I would not mind updating this review. My review remains the same, as my experience remains unfortunate. read more

This company is garbage and Edward the manager/owner is an unscrupulous businessman. He quotes 400 dollars then texted an invoice for 420 and pads it with shop supplies. When I contronted him after the fact his response was " you signed for it". What is ridiculous is that I had two more cars to bring over and windows in my house to tint. After that experience i told him he just lost all my future business. The next day the film delaminated from the side windows and the front windshield has a permanent haze-horrible workmanship. I give this company an F. Stay away. Marty Gubb read more
