The at-fault party wanted to handle the repairs outside of insurance, and honestly, this turned out to be one of the smoothest and most hassle-free auto collision experiences I've ever had. I called to schedule an estimate and was greeted warmly by the receptionist upon arrival. My appraiser, Erika, met me right away. I pointed out the damaged areas, and she quickly inspected the truck, taking notes for a few minutes before stepping back inside. About five minutes later, she returned with a clear, detailed estimate. Since I was paying out of pocket (self-pay), I needed to cover a deposit--essentially the cost of the parts--before they could order them. Erika explained that once the parts arrived, I could drop the truck off, and the repair would take about four days. A few days later, I called to make the deposit over the phone using Zelle to avoid the credit card surcharge. The next day, Erika followed up to confirm the parts were ordered and expected to arrive by Friday or, at the latest, the following Monday. We scheduled the drop-off for that Monday, and true to their word, I had the truck back by Friday--fully repaired and looking great. Throughout the entire process, Erika kept me updated with a quick status call every few days, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. This was at one of only two Toyota Certified Collision Centers in the area, and the difference really showed. Professional, efficient, and communicative from start to finish--I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing bodywork on their Toyota.

The process was great through and through with this Gerber location. They got my truck in quick and walked me through the process. I had to get a rental, and they asked if I needed a ride there (which I didn't, but I thought that was great service). Lew was incredible, and told me what he predicted they would have to do. Before doing the work, Lew gave me a call to tell me exactly what work they were going to do and got the green light from insurance. When I picked up my truck, it looked like it hadn't been hit at all. They had to replace a door, and everything was in working order. Some of the spots they had to paint, I couldn't even tell it had been hit before. Not only that, but my truck looked better than when I dropped it off. They washed it and made it shine. As for pricing, the insurance company paid for everything, but I'd definitely go back there for how great of a job they did. I looked at Yelp's reviews ahead of time and it helped me make a decision to bring my truck here. Hopefully, this review helps you too.

My vehicle has been there since February, and throughout that time, communication was consistently lacking. I never received a single proactive update and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information on the status of my car. What's most frustrating is that after being told the vehicle was complete and ready for pickup, I arrived to find that the work was still not fully finished. The vehicle had to be taken back in to address items that should have been completed the first time. For a repair process that took this long since February and it is now May, a much higher level of communication, attention to detail, and overall professionalism should be expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.
