USAA Insurance "steers" me to Caliber Collision on Eastgate. To get a quote for a rear-end collision by a USAA member. Zero fault of my own. It was there to for a QUOTE ONLY. I get there and my damaged parts were removed and thrown in my back seat. I explained to them DO NOT open the trunk WITHOUT ME there due to the valuable items that I carry with me. Well. I should have known to rent a car when I drove to Vegas. Instead I drove my own car and got smacked by someone smoking some "stuff" that's legal but I don't think while driving. Anyway, my car got towed to Caliber. I flew home and flew back to pick up my car. Looked as good as new and didn't miss a beat on the drive home. I think it drives better, I was probably due for an alignment anyway. read more

BEWARE! READ ALL PAPERWORK BEFORE SIGNING LINE BY LINE! I brought a car to this place that had been in four accidents. They started working on it, but found more problems and tried to fix the car quickly. When we went to inspect the car during pick-up, we had to snap the bumper back in place. They should have inspected it first! They wouldn't release the vehicle to me unless I signed a form saying it was inoperable and a "total loss." But it wasn't this way before I brought it in. read more

Service rep James was polite and friendly; however, he told me he "personally inspected the vehicle" upon its return to me. As soon as the lift gate was opened a large metal wrench fell, it was left in the tail gate door-jam area. Thankfully that didn't hit anyone on the head. So much for a look over inspection. My bumper guard was replaced with a cheap low quality decal. More importantly, the rear bumper is missing numerous bolts from each side where it attaches to the wheel well. Lastly, some small paint chips were present upon pick up that were not there when I dropped the vehicle off. My tailgate doesn't open or close the same and the locking feature is not properly functioning. Visually the vehicle looks good, but I have a lot of concerns about the reliability of the work done and how sloppy the staff who worked on this were. What else isn't put together properly? Where are there other bolts missing from? Are there more tools being left that I haven't found yet? read more

Had a problem with my tailgate not opening. I first tried to go to the dealership, they told me they needed it for 24 hours before they look at it and $270. I called Caliber and talked to James. He told me to swing by and he would take a quick look. After looking at it he told me to give a couple things a try before turning it over to him and his techs. I stopped by unexpectedly to check on it and he informed me that all parts were in and ready to go, they should work on it tonight or by tomorrow morning. I said great. Honestly if I could give this shop zero stars I would. I was trying to be polite the whole time they serviced my vehicle but please do not go to this shop. Your vehicle will not be fixed correctly. I was out of state and involved in a collision so my dealership recommended them as a certified dealership. Stay away from caliber. Long story short, they kept lying about updates, inconsistent follow up, i had to order a part for them myself and have my insurance reimburse me. A month later I am back home and have been told my vehicle is missing parts and had things incorrectly placed. I need to get all my mechanical issues re-done. Caliber Collision - 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring - Body Shops Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

So 8 months later the Tarter installed by caliber failed. The one they replaced was an original part - 15 years old and working until the vehicle was stolen. They claim they installed a new OEM starter. See the photo. It failed in just 8 months! We had to have the truck towed and spent $557 to have the starter replaced. And the mechanic advised that one of the bolts that should hold the starter in place was MISSING. We have documentation. We've contacted our insurance company who paid for this supposed new starter and we've contacted Caliber corporate. DO NOT LET THEM REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. They do fine body work but can't make simple mechanical repairs. read more

my car was broke into and had minor damage. they had my car for 18 days. meanwhile I did not receive one text, email or phone call about the status of the work or the expected completion date. phone calls were not returned. I had to pay my full deductible but the damages came in under that. now I have a refund of almost $400 due to me. I have been waiting for 11 days and I have not heard a word from them. Phone call not returned. the car work was done okay, but their accounting and communications are pathetic and best and dishonest at worst. as a customer ignored and cheated. After the center manager manager, Dan, got news of my review on yelp he reached out to me directly to address the situation. He said that yesterday (April, 9th) was his last day but he a man of his word and wanted to see that our car was taken care of properly. He drove from Henderson over to my house in Summerlin to personally pick up the car and take it back to Caliber Collision to fix the remaining issues. The car was returned to my house today (April 10th) by Dan and the new center manager, Matthew. The car looks great! I wish it could have been this simple from the start. They fixed all of the issues and did a great job cleaning the inside of the car. I wanted to write a review update because it is only fair to mention that they did make things right and I am truly appreciative about that. It for sure gave me belief that Caliber Collision can make good on their word. I want to take a moment to mention Dan, the now previous center manager. From the very beginning Dan made myself as well my husband feel that he had every intention of making things right for us. Unfortunately, things obviously didn't go so well at first but Dan went above and beyond to make everything right. The simple fact that yesterday was his last day but he took the time at all to take care of us the way he did just impressed me to the max. First appointment, no problem whatsoever. I asked for a quote to fix my SUV due to an accident I was in and James Dennis (Service Advisor) was very helpful and told me he would have a quote for me within a couple of days. James asked me if I wanted to leave my vehicle so they could perform the work. I specifically told James I would be taking the vehicle with me since I hadn't talked to my insurance adjuster yet and that all I wanted was a quote. Two days later, James started calling me, telling me he's already ordered all of the parts for repair and he wanted to know when I was going to come in. I'm not sure about you, but what part of "quote" tells someone to purchase parts for the job? A few days later, I finally caught up with James on the phone and he proceeded to tell me that I was the one who told him to order the parts - during my first appointment for the quote. This never happened. He then proceeded to call me a liar which made me upset. I don't lie, nor do I have a reason to lie about James' accusation. Why would I tell someone to order parts when I hadn't even talked to my insurance adjuster yet? Needless to say, after a bit of a debate with James on the phone, I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY now or in the future! Took my vehicle here due to an accident. My insurance company recommended Caliber Collision so I made an appointment. The very next day from dropping it off, they advised me that they will be taking it to Henderson location since they would get the car done faster. However, they said all the part will be in the next day. After a few days I decided to call to check up on the progress since they took it in to Henderson location. I was told they are getting all the parts into paint and should be done by the end of that week. Well, the day I was suppose to pick it up, they told me that they lost a part and it's needing to be ordered. Why they couldn't call me and tell me this is the part that is really frustrating. After another week of ME calling for a check up, they kept telling me it's in painting. Everyday, it's in painting should be out today. Next day, oh it's in painting it should be out in a few hours. Then again, they say it's suppose to be ready, they are missing another part and it needs to be ordered. Until a month later, I finally get my car and IT IS STILL missing some parts! I was greeted by the receptionist who then went to the general manager to do an over view on the car. He couldn't be bothered so he sent another individual. I was upset the whole time because of the lack communication received. The gentlemen's who helped me stated they send him out because he is the bosses son! Ok, that does not help my situation. He also told me that a bad review affects an individuals pay. So that to me means that is all they care about! Overall, I would have been okay with a set deadline instead of oh it will be don't at the end of the week and it truly not being done. James really should not get people's hopes up with their car almost being done when it is not. I needed my car and struggled without it. So, when I get my hopes up and don't get it, it was a huge disappointment. After two weeks of getting my car back, I still haven't heard about my missing parts! I got into an accident with another SUV. Their car was totaled mine had some front end damage but was leaking gold colored fluid. The manager at Caliber refused to believe that any mechanical damage was done, turns out all the motor mounts had broken as well as some other thing that mounts the transmission., the trans and driver shaft had shifted to the driver side. Even though things where set right, In good conscience I gotta let y'all know what went down. *************************** Laura is a broken record and their manager was rude to my dad when he tried to explain that the symmetrical scratches on my front bumper coincided with their alignment rack, Not typical curb damage. The only reason they fixed the damage was because my dad refused to accept the vehicle in its condition and left the key with them, saying he'd be contacting my insurer. They performed the repair "out of courtesy". Once I picked up my vehicle I took it for a test run and I noticed my alignment was off since my steering wheel was tilted to the right. I went right back and let Laura know that the alignment needed to be redone since my steering wheel was off kilter but she kept insisting it wasn't related to the alignment process.....B-... is you a mechanic?? cuz my dad was for a few years and he's passed down some knowledge to me since i was a shrimp.... I know damn well it ain't right! So i said screw it, have a good day I'll take it to Honda and prove you wrong, took it to Honda and they confirmed it needs a complete realignment. After speaking with one of Hondas mechanics I called Laura explaining that my steering wheel being tilted was a sign of misalignment. She stated she would get in contact with the manager and have him get back to me the next day and surprise, surprise, no calls. Not ever going back, I don't recommend this location at all, the only people that where at all genuine are the receptionist and their female estimator. Side note: When I was being driven back from the rental company I expressed my frustration about the bumper incident and the representative said he heard the same happened to another customer he drove back. He expressed his thanks for the information since he was about to take his vehicle there as well. Update (Oct 15): Called caliber and spoke with Laura, she stated "My manager and I thought that by your bad review, you had already taken it to get an alignment with Honda"....... I am soooooo done with this company! When they called me later in the day, after I had first dropped this review (on Oct. 13th) I had told them, I had a legit receipt from Honda stating that it does need an alignment but NO ALIGNMENT WAS DONE. My alignment is bad enough that the mechanic only had to drive the vehicle to confirm. She kept insisting that day that she needed the "specs". Honda can only provide specs if they do the alignment. Which i had to tell her over and over again but I don't think she comprehends anything Im saying. The pettiness of these people is beyond me. Just to add some sprinkles on this poo-Sunday , I work 12 hours a day most of the week, I don't have time to deal with this kind of inconsiderate and inconsistent bull. Imagine if it was something that I actually couldn't drive with? The manager, Tan, that was arguing with my father about the scratches on my car, obviously doesn't give a care about his customers. This place was recommended by my insurance after I hit a wild animal. The whole experience was awful. The hood latch wouldn't release and when I brought it to their attention he said it's because I don't know how to do it right. He had use a screw driver to get it open. The bumper wasn't properly aligned with the fender. The bumper was hanging over the fender.The bumper and grille were missing screws and the top half of the bumper fell off. Instead of taking the time to put the bolts in(the bolts were in a hard place to get to and require a bit of disassembly) they used silicone to glue it back together. There was over spray on the windshield and scratches in the paint that weren't there when the car was dropped off.they said they have to call the insurance to pay for the scratches to be removed. They put the wrong anti freeze in and didn't put enough Freon in the ac system. The plug that goes on the head light was poorly repaired and write was left exposed that short circuited. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The employees were all very rude and treated us like were stupid. read more

They said I was free to take my car to any shop, but since I didn't have a preference I researched the shops on their list. The first place I called couldn't even get my car in for 10 days. Caliber was my second call (in just going down the list of shops in my area) and they were able to get my car in in just a couple of days. From start to finish working with them was a breeze. They were able to look up my claim on my very first call to them. They stayed in constant communication, calling me every couple of days with an update. But what usually adds insult to injury is dealing with insurance companies, deductibles and rental cars. And so I found myself in this land of bliss when I was hit by an old lady while PARKED! Although I have nothing great to say about the other parties insurance I have nothing but amazing things to say about Nick at caliber collision! He is downright amazing, knowledgeable, genuine and efficient! I don't believe that people in customer service need to kiss butt, nor as a business owner do I believe that the customer is always right. That said, I do believe that employees are the front line of your businesses and that first impressions are truly what make people choose you over the competition. Just a few rare things: 1. He called within hours of receiving my claim 2. When I arrived I didn't even sit for five minutes before he came out, looked me in my eyes, shook my hand and started the walk around of my vehicle. 3. Although I arrived near the close of business and the drivers were all gone for the day, he hopped in a company vehicle and drove me and my son home.
