Used this shop for the first time, and it was a complete failure. After the windshield replacement, the sensors were not functioning correctly. The adaptive cruise control and lane recognition systems were throwing errors. The left-side pillar panel was bowed, and my vehicle's finish was scratched in eight different locations. I'm a reasonable person, and I understand that mistakes happen. I spoke with the manager, who came to my location and test-drove the vehicle with me. We were able to replicate all of the issues, and he confirmed them. He reassured me that his technician had 20 years of experience and suggested he may have simply had a bad day. I brought the car back a second time. After that, the manager's level of engagement dropped significantly. Nobody called with updates or even notified me when the vehicle was ready for pickup. Calls to the shop and the manager went unanswered. When I picked up the vehicle, the windshield had been installed crooked, and there were even more scratches. There were scratches on the hood and on both the left and right pillars. I spoke with the service manager again, and he assured me they would correct the windshield and repair the damage. When I picked up the car again, he told me to bring it back because they still couldn't properly calibrate the windshield sensors and would need assistance from another branch. He also admitted the scratches hadn't been repaired because they ran out of time. At this point, I was frustrated, but I still wanted my vehicle fixed. I brought it back for a third time. The manager told me they had to replace the windshield again, this time with an OEM windshield. When I picked up the car, the scratches still had not been repaired. More excuses followed, and they wanted me to bring the vehicle back yet again. I refused. By then, there were additional scratches on my vehicle, and the calibration was still incorrect. I ended up touching up the scratches myself and taking the vehicle to the dealer to have the calibration done properly. This place doesn't deserve even one star. They failed miserably. Poor workmanship, poor communication, and no sense of customer service. Apparently, 20 years of experience doesn't mean much when the work quality is this bad. I was recommended to Caliber from Liberty Mutual, due to rock chips and stopped in to get a quote for my insurance. The center is in a convenient Henderson location, near the Automall. Inside, the waiting area is clean and has a complimentary coffee machine and a for-pay snack vending machine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt they were very honest with me due to my car being electric and where the rock chips are. They are located near the electric plug cap (similar to where a gas cap would be). So because of the heat in the paint booth, they are concerned about potential liability if my battery was affected from the heat. They said some parts can be taken off and put into a paint booth, but this panel cannot, so the whole car has to go in, which is the issue due to it being all electric. They graciously wrote an estimate for my insurance. I really thank them for their honesty and explanation. This is my first electric car and learned so much about all these nuances! read more

I came to Caliber Collision in Henderson a few weeks ago for an estimate with Angie. She was polite during the visit and told me the estimate would be emailed to me shortly. I never received it. I even double-checked my inbox and spam folder--nothing ever came through. No follow-up phone call, no update, no communication at all. This ended up being an incredible waste of my time. I took time out of my day to go in person, only to be left hanging with zero information about the cost or timeline for repairs. If a business can't handle something as basic as providing an estimate after an in-person appointment, it makes me question how reliable they would be with an actual repair job. Service advisor doesnt know what hes talking about, doesnt even know about cars so i dont know how he can advise. Got the car back, you can see they dont pay attention to detail at all, you can see clearly uneven gaps on body work. They dont even test drive the car lol. At all. Thing turned off as soon as i drove it off the lot. They tried blaming the alternator or sum . Like no... you worked on the car buddy its clearly your fault. Hes like "well, so if i pay for it to get checked and itS NOT are fault are YOU gonna pay for it? " chill buddy. Took my car here after an accident due to positive Google reviews. I met with Derek and he was such a joy,really relieved my anxiety about my car potentially being totaled. Told me it was typical fender bender stuff and that everything would be fine. Later that day he informed me he was getting close to the total loss threshold. He still assured me everything should be fine. He was very good at keeping me updated throughout the process. However, due to insurance limit issues I had to be switched over to Gio since I had to go through my insurance and not the at fault party's insurance and that is where my perception of this company completely shifted. Gio was hesitant to communicate with me, when he did it was clear he had no answers to any of the questions I was asking. Was very difficult to get in touch with. Claimed Derek's estimate of damage to my car was inaccurate and incomplete, he added another 4k in damage to my car leading to the insurance then deciding to total. When I asked Gio about this he just told me "Derek missed stuff". I don't know if Gio was just making things up, or if Derek was bad at estimating damage. Either way, very shady that things changed so much from one estimator to another within the same company. After my car was deemed a total loss I had to go and clean it out, I had to awkwardly wait in my new car for over 10 minutes to be escorted back to my car, even though I knew where it was and then the guy awkwardly watched me clean out my car. Not sure why I couldn't be left alone to clean out my car, it that really rubbed me the wrong way. Very unsettling experience, and so much stress for me. I wouldn't recommend going here, however I cannot comment on the quality of their work, because I never got to see any, but from an admin standpoint the company was less than ideal to deal with. read more

Ignore what they say, trust your instincts. They butter up the insurance company, not you. When they ask questions like "Will you be in a car rental the entire time?" None of your business, so Answer yes, no matter what. If your the claimant then the insurance company will cover rental, however, how long your in your rental will likely alter the speed of your repair. So if you opt out, watch out. A 3 day repair turns into a month. And do NOT use them to arrange for a car rental. The rental company treats them as their customer , not you. When in reality you ARE the customer, even if the insurance company is paying your the customer. As a former manager of a body shop (IMO) they play you like a fiddle. This is what happens when the national companies take over the industry. Customer service is gone, your just a number. They act like your lucky they will repair it. My suggestion is find a high end Private owned shop. I only chose this one based on location. But do yourself a favor, ditch location and search around. Update, by their response it sounds like I (no surprise) am spot on. That tells US everything we need to know. read more

If you have a late model BMW that has had mechanical damage due to an accident, I would not recommend this shop. After insurance paying 20K to this shop for repairs and multiple trips back with issues related to repairs. Last trip was August 4, 25. I brought vehicle back after hearing noise coming from suspension going over certain bumps in the road. I left it for 2 weeks; they couldn't find the source of noise and assured me the suspension they repaired was in proper working order. I picked it up August 18th and took it directly over to BMW Dealer. The problem was immediately diagnosed and repaired. It was a suspension problem because of improper repairs done by Caliber. Let me start off by saying this shop is phony and untrustworthy! I first dealt with Kimberly and Laura in the front to schedule which was a mission impossible literally it took like 20 days to get my car seen and when he did see it he took 5 mins what a joke!!!! Also they dont know what they are doing super unprofessional! I made an appt to come in for a an estimate when i arrived when my appt was scheduled and she said my appt was in the morning shes unsure why that changed and its been happening alot !!! so she had me wait until i was able to be seen which was not cool since i had to be at work thats why i made an appt ahead! I caught him in many lies and he tried to make me pay out of pocket for an item and when i called my insurance they said i dont pay anything out of pocket. I went back and forth with Dan for a few days to get my car fixed he then continued to say he cant do it unless i pay the extra $600 my self that he cant help! There was alot of other stuff my husband caught him in lies since he knows about cars! I let my insurance company know and they decided to remove him for all the shadiness he was doing !!! November 8, 2024, we were hit by a young man while stopped for an emergency vehicle. Thank goodness it was not major damage to our vehicle, but it was over our deductible. So we took our car to Caliber collision because we had done business with them in a different state (Florida) and had excellent service there. We decided to give them a try here in Nevada and we are very glad we did. The service was exactly the same as it was in Florida! They were quick, efficient and kept us informed of what was going on with our vehicle. The receptionist was so sweet and extremely helpful. Our service representation was Derek and he was not only very personable, but extremely knowledgeable as well. He made me feel my vehicle was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about! THIS IS A TRUTHFUL AND ACCURATE review of Caliber Collision 680 N Gibson Rd Henderson NV. Service requested: Estimate I recently scheduled online for an estimate of repairs with Caliber collision. It took 2 days for an appointment for an estimate. When I arrived, the receptionist could not find my appointment. When she did, she said oh, you're here to drop off? I replied, "No, I have an appointment with David Biggs to have an estimate. She replied, "we have an agreement with Statefarm for you to just drop off your keys." I replied that I wanted to talk to this Dave Biggs about the estimate. She very hesitantly went over to Dave to "discuss" as they both looked over at me. She returned and, without looking at me, told me, "Have a seat Dave will be with you shortly. Dave eventually came over with clipboard in hand and asked me how he could help me. I replied that I was here to get an estimate for repairs. We proceeded to my car, which was just outside the front door. I showed him the driver door, which would not open because of an accident. He pulled the door fully open, and it would not fully close anymore. He wanted me to sign his clipboard. I asked him how long he estimated the repairs to take? He replied that he was 4-6 weeks out. I informed him that I had a $1k limit on my rental, so I was concerned. He replied "you can't drive it like that" "I said I realize that now" he immediately turned to a coworker and said "take the car around and get the door to close" he immediately started walking away. I replied, "Excuse me, Dave, are we going to do this?" And without even turning around or breaking stride, he replied loudly "NO" and proceeded inside, leaving me standing there in confusion! I realize time is money. The entire time that was "wasted" by Dave DID NOT exceed 15 min! If a company does not have the least bit of patience or concern for its potential customers and is OBVIOUSLY only focused on the $$, I would HIGHLY suggest to anyone else to go elsewhere ALWAYS ASK HOW LONG will repairs take, you have the right! A email request today from Caliber for customer referrals gave me a chuckle. They want to spread the word about how they treat customers? Here's what I said on the feedback survey (no reply from Caliber), and I hope it warns other customers: A complete lack of communication caused me over $1000 in rental car expenses I hadn't planned or budgeted for, in addition to headache, hassle and last-minute chaos when multiple deadlines blew past without a word from Derek. This ended up being an unbelievably frustrating experience from beginning to end. When I dropped off the car on 2/28, Derek said it looked like a simple repair, and on Geico's "express service" program, he expected 7 to 10 days. I made a car rental reservation based on this. After no word from Derek on day 7, I called for an update. Derek laughed when I asked if the repair was done, said he never quoted me a 7-10 day window, and said it would be another week. I made a last-minute car rental reservation (paying an inflated rate for the late notice). Another week passed without an update. I called again to ask about the car, Derek then said completion on 3/13. No call, again. On the 14th, he said maybe the 15th. At that point, I couldn't get a last-minute car rental due to spring break, and I paid premium rates all week with Uber/Lyft to get back and forth to work. Derek did not return my call on the 15th. On the 18th, I still had no update. I called Caliber and asked for a supervising manager to help me. I was $1k over budget and out of resources. Hrandt spoke to me after I called the office 3 times, and said I could pick up the vehicle the next day, and I ultimately did get my car back on the 19th. This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a business. I'm working overtime to pay for the car rentals since I spent my deductible money on that. Never have I been treated with such a complete lack of consideration, it's shocking. I will never return to Caliber, and I would only recommend Caliber to someone I wished headaches and unplanned 4-figure expenses on. read more

Unfortunately, my car got caught in the middle of it, and upon picking it up discovered a few issues that required repairing that had nothing to do with the original repair. I contacted the shop and was put in touch with Derek Anderson. We discussed over the phone the minor damage that needed to be addressed and I communicated I was a car guy and my concern regarding wanting a quality repair. Derek assured me a quality repair would be done and he clearly understood me being a car guy and how picky I am about my cars. Derek has been in the business for many years which made me feel more comfortable with this shop doing the repairs. When I dropped my BMW off for the repair it was very obvious Derek is not only very knowledgeable but also has outstanding customer service skills. Good customer service is rarely seen now a days especially in the Las Vegas area. During to course of the repair Derek kept me informed on a regular basis as to how the repairs were progressing. He always with each call assured me he and the staff where being very careful with my car. I have to admit I was as nervous as a whore in church when I went to pick up my car. What is an appointment for? If this is how you do customer service I'm glad I walked out. This place was highly recommended by a close friend of mine that told me you took care of ex-military. Walked in to get an estimate on my vehicle. I was told estimates were done by appointment only, so I made an appointment. Clean classy looking place, I was looking forward to doing business with them. I arrived to my appointment early by a couple of minutes. I was told there would be a short wait because of a meeting. As the meeting seemed to have ended, someone walked in the door. He seemed in a hurry and was dropping off a car. An adjuster comes from the back and takes him outside to look at HIS vehicle. I asked to double check that my appointment was for 8:15. I was told by the receptionist the man that arrived after me had an appointment before mine, so sorry. We'll be with you in a few more minutes, sorry about that. Wait, He arrived LATE to HIS appointment and I had to wait why?
