My Aunt went to this shop as instructed by her insurance company. The shop is contracted with her insurance and supposed to send up any estimate that is done, as part of the contract agreement between them. They did the estimate but then refused to send the estimate to Insurance, because she would not to sign their repair agreement on the spot. Even the insurance company called them to request the estimate and they ignored the request. My aunt is elderly and was just doing as instructed by her insurance company. However, this Shop could care less and just wanted to react negatively because she would not sign their repair agreement firm, authorizing them to fix her car. They should not be allowed to get away with this and nobody should use this shop. It just shows they have lousy customer service. read more

I had initially done a review on my Dodge Ram where the company did an "okay" job but I had to return the truck as frame bolts were loose. Then my son was hit a few months later and took his SUV here. The body work was good but they gave him the vehicle back without having polished or buffed it where they added new paint, it was bad. They fixed it once it was brought back in l, and looked good when it was done, finally . Strike 2 Fast forward almost 2 years. My son was rear ended in his brand new Durango Hemi RT. The rear end damage wasn't terrible but needed repair, paint etc. when they called to let him know the car was ready we went on down. Upon looking at the rear of the vehicle we noticed the whole rear bumper was misaligned, the muffler pipes were centered in the bumper port holes etc, just completely off center, one side higher than the other.. just poor. When they took the vehicle back and lifted it they called us back to ask what the problem was. Really?!? So I stood there and showed them. (So obvious) I was now pissed off. I literally showed them how off it was by using frame and distance to spare etc, was off. They then stated maybe it was because some cars have off centered spares and that could be why it appears that way. Wait, what?! I wasn't buying it and had enough of this place. I told them don't call us until the car is right, again! 3 different times we went there (my fault totally) and ALL 3 times there were "significant" problems in workmanship and their QAQI processes. Get in and get them out is the likely their philosophy here which was made abundantly clear. Had it been once with an issue, okay. Twice? Maybe just an oversight, got it. Three times? Ya, bad work and terrible QAQI control. These vehicles are NOT being looked at when they say they're done. Frustrating when you feel like you're being takin for a ride in your own damn vehicle. There's an abundance of shops in the valley. My recommendation, find one that doesn't include the name "Gerber" I have never wrote such a scathing review on a business m, if you could call it that. However, this review was fully warranted and written with the hopes folks read them. Very disappointing, very let down. I. The end all three vehicles look good. Look, I understand we have bad days but everyone here was so unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. They need to check their attitude. Why work here if you're going to act like I'm disturbing you? Like I'm paying for your service man, y'all aren't doing this for free The incident that really pushed me over the edge was when I was on a phone call with my insurance and an employee came up to me yelling my name and acting annoyed, supposedly to catch my attention, dude i was right in front of you, there was no need for that. My rear window got smashed while working a game at Allegiant Stadium. Also, in a separate incident, my driver-side door and front quarter-panel was hit when my car was parked. USAA, my insurance, had recommended another company, but I wanted to go with Gerber. Kevin has been great so far. Gerber Collision Auto & glass. Absolutely blew my expectations away. You never want to be in an accident. But they made the process easy from beginning to end. One of the best parts about Gerber was not only are they one of only 2 dealerships in the LV valley who are Mercedes' certified, they are the ONLY shop that is Mercedes' certified AND State Farm partnered. Which is an absolute dream to now know about. I didn't understand how important that was in the beginning. But having the work being certified by MB and insured by State Farm without any additional supplements or headaches was amazing. That was just the beginning. KEVIN who was my estimator( more like account executive) Called me weekly (sometimes by weekly) on Tuesday and Thursday giving me updated when he had them. They were so careful to not over promise and under deliver on timeframe, but they in fact did they exact opposite. They under promised and OVER delivered! These guys were great. I felt as though my car was in good hands taken care of and worked on properly. One final piece, my car has limited edition matte grey paint coloring which I was concerned about. They gave it back to me looking better than before, with a perfect seamless paint job. Thank you Gerber, thank you Kevin & Dave! I've dealt with Gerber collision in the past and they've always done a great job and this time was no exception. Communication is always great, kept me informed throughout the whole process. When I picked up my truck with no problems found. however 5 days later I happened to notice drivers side windows tint was damaged, didn't see it because when window is up it's hidden. I brought it to their attention and Dave the general mgr said "no problem !" told me take it to whoever did the tint and took care of it. Now that's excellent customer service! Initially the communication was fantastic. Weekly check-in's we're awesome. I couldn't say enough good things. Going into the 3rd month that changed. Patterns of lying were clear. It was in line for paint one week, then the next it wasn't even to the point of paint and completely disassembled. It was a constant yo-yo. Finally my vehicle was ready for pick up. However they sent me home with an un-finished vehicle. It still had body damage. I wasn't even pressuring for it back at this point. Just asking for continued communication. The windshield sensors were not calibrated at all for all the newer technology. I only had low or high on my windshield wipers, no intermittent, no rain sensing. There was a nasty rattle in my steering column. They admitted to breaking my windshield, that wasn't damaged in the accident, but refused to replace my tint or any tint for that matter (passenger door or windshield.... No glass was damaged in the accident, but they replaced both). I brought it back. 3 weeks later I picked it up again. They claim they can't hear or find the rattle (::cough:: b.s.... you can hear it over the stereo). My sun/moon roof does not operate at all now. I still need to replace tint, find the rattle, and get my wipers working correctly. They claimed repeatedly the owners manual was in my trunk, the first time I picked it up it was nowhere to be found. They finally put it back on my second pick up... in an envelope in the back seat.... Not my trunk ::side eye:: On the 2nd pick up I got home and realized the center cap was missing from my wheel. I eventually found that in a cup holder. I'd take it back a 3rd time, but 3.5 months without a car and a run around on the 2nd for no logical reason is enough for me. At first, everything seemed good. I got a quote to fix my car and was decided to start the repair. However, I knew very little about the repair process and didn't know how long the repair was guaranteed to last. So I called a few times asking this information. The agent at the end of the line would always transfer me to the estimator, Shelby B for detailed information. This guy Shelby got annoyed that I called a few times before initiating the repair, that he flat out told me to find other body shops because customers shouldn't ask too many questions like I am. I figured if he had a problem taking the time to answer my questions, he wouldn't take the time to make sure my repair would go smoothly, so I did find another body shop. Really rude! Brought my vehicle to this body shop. Worst place ever!! Never bring your car here unless you want to leave with the biggest headache you've ever had in your life. This spot is super rude and unprofessional and they don't care about their customers. They just want to get their customers in and out for the sole purpose of making money. Had my car repaired a couple of months back and i brought it back for some malfunctioning a month later. Almost 2 months later i am coming back for the same issues. From the start my estimator was very rude, he always has an attitude and it's very difficult to get ahold of him over the phone. Whenever I visit in person, one of the girls is always sleeping with her head down. SO unprofessional?! It takes a minute for her to realize Im even standing there. While i was waiting in the office for my car to get fixed there were these guys talking very inappropriately in the office. Manager doesn't seem to care as he walks by and lets all that happen. Honestly, don't know what rating to give them because I don't know how good of work they actually do but I just wanted to rate based on my experience with a particular person. So I set up an appointment with them through Allstate who they work with directly which is my insurance to get my rear bumper fixed for a claim I filed. So I get there for my appointment, go inside and wait maybe not even a couple minutes for whoever they assigned to come out and look at my car with me to come out with me. As we're walking to my car in the parking lot we were still maybe 10 feet away from my car still walking toward it and he already said "yeah we're not even gonna do that work we're going to decline it" before even getting fully to the car to look at it and said it with such attitude. He basically explained to me that he could tell it was previously worked on and was not done properly, but just used a bunch of filler, and it would now be a liability for them to work on it without fully replacing it and he knows already that Allstate my insurance wont want to pay for full replacement and it's too much of a liability for them to try and fix the current bumper itself. I told him "first of all yeah it was worked on before in a previous bumper incident, but whether it was previously worked on or not and done correctly or not in your eyes is beside the fact it's a new claim, and I'm bringing it to you to fix now whether that's keeping the current bumper or fully replacing it that's up for you guys to decide to let the Insurance know so they can say yes or no and pay you the money to do so." It seemed like he really didn't wanna give me the time of day nor did he even try to talk from the beginning. Just a flat no. Then, even though he already told me they were going to decline doing work. He was still somewhat nice enough to write up an estimate just for my knowledge how much I'd be looking at an estimate of which was about 750 total also stating it included an extra 130 bucks out of pocket for me for 50% the paint cost that he said the insurance will not cover 100% because they consider it depreciated paint anyway so with the extra 130+ my deductible of only hundred I'll be paying 230. Well jokes on him and his shop. Called my insurance and told them what happened. Sent photos of the damage in myself to them and they were more than happy to give me a full replacement estimate covering paint and everything 100% to take to any shop I wanted which I did and it is currently being worked on now fully covered by Allstate, whom they work with directly and not the shop I'm using. This place lost out on something that was probably going to be a quick fix and easy money for them. Really impressed with Gerber Collision & Glass. I was recommended to to them by my insurance company Travelers for a rear bumper replacement. I went in for an inspection, which was super fast (15 minutes) and from there scheduled a day the next week to have the work done. I dropped my car off the following Monday and shockingly they called me the next day to say it was done. WOW, that was fast!!! The bumper looks amazing, like it was original to the car and the paint is a perfect match. The receptionist at the desk was really helpful and my claim handler Dan was really great as well. He let me know everything I needed to know in advance and called me with an update early Tuesday morning and surprisingly again Tuesday afternoon to say it was done. This is the only place I will go should I ever need collision repair or glass replacement services in the future. Also, they got me a shuttle to Enterprise Car Rental when I dropped my car off and let me leave the rental car there when I picked my car up. He ensured all brand new parts would be placed on my car because it was brand new and he handled everything with the insurance company. He promised to call me twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, to give me an update on my car, and he did just that, even leaving me voicemails when I wasn't available. Thank you, Gerber Collision & Glass! They stand by their work. They painted a damaged hood (in transportation) on our MBZ GLE 350 four years ago. I noticed recently that the clear coat was coming off in a spot. I called to explain the situation, made an appointment and took my car in to have it looked at. I met with Mike Frazier the Production Manager. He looked at it and said no problem then asked when I could bring it in and drop it off to fix it no charge. I dropped it off mid last week. Monday, they called and said it was ready (as promised) to be picked up. The hood looked beautiful! Thank you again for honoring your work. Highly recommend considering them for any work needed. Overall my experience with Gerber is just ok. They're customer service is decent. Everyone seems pretty nice. Brought the car back said they would take 30 mins but it actually took 3 hours. Perhaps it's my fault for bringing it in close to lunch but after almost one hour then they told me it would take longer and I wanted to just bring it in another time because I had a class to attend. They said I couldn't leave because they already started working on it and they couldn't give me a loaner. So I missed my class.... they should have told me from the get go so I could have come back another time. Before I brought my car back I got another error message and turns out there was a loose wire causing my license plate light to go on and off. Another sign of sloppy work. They said they would replace my bumper with OEM parts. Honestly a little disappointed they didn't use OEM to begin with but perhaps insurance has a factor, I don't know. Overall I'm not 100% satisfied. Perhaps I'm being OCD but the rear panel is not flushed on the right side in comparison to the left. I attached pictures. read more

Had a little accident and was given this place as an option through my insurance company. I was able to get an appointment like 2 days later and left my car for repairs. At the location I met with a guy that gave me an estimate on repairs and how long it would take to complete it. Soon after. There was a lady with enterprise waiting to get me into a rental that was covered through my insurance. The whole process between the 2 took about 30 min. So yes. They move fast here. Overall my car took about 2 weeks in the shop. When I arrived to pick it up , the guy that gave me a quote the first time around come speeding around the corner in my vehicle. Mind you. This is a small lot. I did not appreciate that one bit. When I inspected my car , they forgot to put my front license plate back on and the guy asked if I wanted them to put it on. OF COURSE I WANT YOU TO PUT IT BACK ON! So he gets in my car and speeds back around the corner just to have someone else screw my plates back on. Then he comes speeding back out. I check the area that they were supposed to have fixed/painted. Can you believe there was already a paint chip on the "fixed" area. It was small. But still. Its something they should've fixed. On top of that. The rubber stop on the inside of my drivers side door was missing. Now theres just a hole exposed. Things like this many people don't see. But I inspect my cars every detail and I know what was there and what wasn't. With that said. This place is all about getting things done fast. But in the end. The quality of service is horrible. Just had my wife's Yukon repaired at Gerber Collision and I could not be happier. From the first call, estimate and drop off, the service was the best. Shelby and the rest of the team at Gerber were great, helped me with the rent a car, which I barely needed, since they got the repairs done in less than 3 days. Granted it was a small repair, but they had to replace the back bumper and tail light assembly and paint. Dropped it off Wednesday and got it back Friday afternoon. I took my 2018 Maserati Levante to Gerber Collision for hail damage because they were one of Geico's preferred body shops. Let me start by saying DO NOT take your vehicle here! It took Gerber Collision over 2 months to finish the work on my car when they had quoted me 2-3 weeks. To make matters even worse, I had to pay for a rental car and take my vehicle back on several occasions due to them missing dents and not matching the paint color the first time (see attached photo of paint shade difference). When I took my vehicle in for the first time, I felt confident that this was the right shop due to the fact that Geico referred me. They took pictures of my vehicle and explained that it would be ready in 2-3 weeks. 6 weeks later, I was told that my vehicle was ready to be picked up but when I inspected my vehicle, there were still over 8 dents that hadn't been fixed from the hail damage, and the paint on the rear fenders and bumper (which they repaired) didn't match the rest of the car. SO, I left my vehicle there a second time since the work was not up to par - huge lack of communication and quality control! This time, they promised that they would get all of the remaining dents out and would do their best to match the paint after 4 male members of their staff tried to convince me that the color difference was barely noticeable. I explained to them that I would not settle for "barely noticeable" and refused to back down. I can see where someone else may even give in to this type of intimidation, but I am not one to give in and wanted things done right on my $85,000 vehicle. When I went back to pick up my vehicle a few weeks later, the paint matched and the rest of the dents were pulled out but there was paint splatter on the center console, mats, doors, and trunk trims. I could not believe that they would let it leave the shop this way (again, no quality control). When I showed the manager (Mike) the paint splatter, he promised to send me new floor mats and give me a free detail to clean up the mess, but of course, he never followed through... We had to try multiple times on the phone to get an appointment, staff was rather non-chalant about this. Upon arrival - there is NO parking nearby!!?!! WTH??? Attentive ladies at intake at appointment time, the place is busy. The experience with the estimator was awful, he was rude and condescending- was it because I showed alone as a female and knew my stuff, I wonder? He came back with a price that was $700,- higher than competition for a job under $2K. When asked he pointed out things he'd have to "fix" that were not affected by the scratch at all. Do not take your car to be repaired at Gerber in Henderson! When I went into the shop to set up a repair appointment I spoke with the general manager. I think his name was Dave. He seemed to be in a hurry. I think he was just interested in booking another repair job. I went ahead and booked the repair giving him the benefit of the doubt. When I returned about a week later while I was in the waiting room waiting to hand my car over for the repair a very nice lady came in and stated the paint job on her car was cracking! Not a very good sign of quality work and I'm being very polite and diplomatic! I met with a guy named Michael. He was not very friendly, seemed to be lacking in any semblance of proper customer service skills and had an attitude of condescension. Really dude! I probably know more about body work than he does. I was working on cars years ago when he was probably trying to find his way to the bathroom! I was in medical surgical orthopedic implant sales for many years in addition to being an orthopedic PA, as a result, I have a very comprehensive understanding of proper customer service skills. Michael's attitude and lack of customer service skills were so bad it would have depressed even Santa Claus! I shared with him my concern regarding making sure a quality repair would take place on my beautiful BMW X5M. He immediately told me Gerber was a very high volume body shop and he seemed very hesitant regarding my concerns. After a short discussion he took my key and I assumed we had an understanding. He came back a few minutes later and said he spoke to the general manager and they decided they did not want to work on my car. That's code for Mr. Alfred expects quality work and we can't provide quality work. No problem! I was really glad I did not leave my car! I am a car guy and have been around collision shops for many years. Gerber is obviously a "shake and bake" operation. Book as many repairs as possible, get the repairs done as quickly as possible and push them out the front door to make room for more repairs. While I was sitting in the waiting room when I first walked in I noticed a big picture of the president of Gerber Collision and a long statement by him stating Gerber does quality work and customer service is their top priority. Revised review: The work done on my car looks great and new, I'm satisfied with the results. Only took a little under 3 weeks, very reasonable and fast. I was sent here by my insurance, and unfortunately had some mishap happen during the repair process. Thankfully, everyone in office was very understanding and more than helpful. I was able to get the issue solved and was compensated for said issue. All in all, the people upfront, representing the company are good people, and I'm happy with the service and work provided. Old review: Came here to get my car fixed through my insurance. The damages were on my door and back panel on my drivers side. The repair results were great and had no underlying issues. Although, had some paper bags with some souvenirs in the trunk, stuff in all compartments inside the car, and some enamel pins on the roof, thought I could leave some stuff without having to worry about moving it around to the house, but was mistaken for thinking that way. All the bags were ripped open and shifted In the trunk. All compartments were rummaged through and shifted. And I had a pin STOLEN from my car. I did a video walkthrough before I left the car, and did a walkthrough watching that video when I received the car. None of my belongings were in the same place I left it, EVERYTHING had been looked through and moved. The work on my car was fine, happy to get my car looking nice back, but this sort of business practice is unacceptable. These people will look through EVERYTHING while they have your car, and if they think they can get away with stealing, THEY WILL. Theft is crazy guys, get a grip. I gave New Look a second opportunity after upper management reached out and wanted to redeem my repeatedly unfortunate first experience. The manager, Paul, went above and beyond in more than one way to apologize for my experience and make things right. It was evident how remorseful they were about the situation and wanted to ensure I wasn't left with a two star impression of their business. By going the extra mile after my initial repair was complete, I felt genuinely valued as a customer and know my concerns ultimately didn't fall on deaf ears. I wholeheartedly feel they redeemed my previous experience and would definitely choose their shop for any future work as the workmanship has proven to be excellent quality. While I hope I don't NEED their services again any time soon, if I do, I'll hope to update to a 5 Star with improved customer service from the whole New Look team. read more

Let me start with the bottom line up front: high value is in onsite customer service & repairs | low value is in communications. I have an orange vehicle that was involved in an accident and spent time going thru repair shops before settling in Gerber. The ease that they work direct with Allstate was also a perk. When being onsite you felt this like Amazon approach where you feel as though you are customer numero uno with them. The service\repair they provide is high quality. Again, I didnt let anyone touch my orange vehicle without looking at pics. At the end they hand you your paperwork, in a nice brochure that holds warranty info, presentation was great. The not so great is I had to call repeatedly to check on my vehicle. They had to order a part, so before leaving my car with them I would ask for timeframes on delivery for parts. They would give a date and not call me back. I would always have to reach out to them with parts and status of repairs. Also at the end they ask if you have any feedback to mention it before taking the survey. I did not participate in the survey because communication was broken and felt let's just call this a wash. No survey, no reviews. Recently I got a text stating that allstate made a payment to me and that payment was due to the shop for repair. This was inaccurate. The shop did not check their payment records. I had a payout for diminished value. I have a good head on my shoulders and said no it wasn't and to check their books. This was another miscommunication that with a simple check they would have avoided a blunder move. All that said I have no loyalties when it comes to repair shops, I have no problems with letting gerber continue to service my vehicle but I'm also not tied or feel compelled to return back. They did an excellent job on repairs, so I will always keep that in mind and know that communications is their only downfall. read more

They lied about the parts that were provided, and the quality of their work was horrible. I had to bring my car back a few trips just to get my car redone right. It was disappointing and irritating. read more

What can be said about people who care about you and your vehicle in times where everything else in the world seems to mean so much more? When my car was stolen - I was crushed. But the police recovered it, and it wasn't in bad shape. Only the rims had been stolen. But, everyone (friends, co-workers, even FAMILY were quick to say "oh it's just a car." - as this was during the time before the police found my car and recovered it.) Well, let me tell you, as a young man in this world, and a "millennial", ask around; we have to work pretty hard for our things. An my car may just be another car to you, but it might as well have been "just a dog to me" if your dog had been stolen. I loved that car and I'd worked very hard to save up for a down and ensure I could afford it. An just because someone STEALS it, doesn't mean I was okay with "meh, insurance will pay it off and you can get another." This car was not only a more rare version - it was MINE. An it meant the world. So when everyone but Gerber Collision in conjunction with Geico set me up with Mike Coughlin and got going on repairs FAST - that meant the world to me. Mike Coughlin called me almost daily and gave me updates, and offered suggestions on how best to navigate waters I'd never encountered. We even hit a wall where a part that could only come from Germany was on back order, and he sadly told me he could not offer an ETA on when this part would be in. So, in essence I was possibly looking at MONTHS before my car was back and guess how much a rental car is when the perks run out? Too much. So, Mike and I got with Volkswagen Dealership where we created a plan that helped me get the car while we waited on these small parts that basically were cosmetic. I owe everyone at Gerber Collision a lot, especially Mike Coughlin. He went above and beyond customer service, car service, and taking care of me. I really would like to see Gerber Collision recognize these people for what they do and did for me - because again, amongst this pandemic; we're all kind of putting anything that isn't immediately affecting ourselves or our own - on the back burner. An this was not the case with Mike and Gerber Collision. They ensured my car was gone over with a fine tooth comb and microscope. Because who knows what someone did that steals your rims and leaves your car in the hood? That's safety and piece of mind that you can't put a price on. Just wanted to say thank you to Gerber Collision, the staff, and Mike Coughlin for taking such great care of me and my car. Truly. Because what should've and could've been MONTHS of not having a car, and MONTHS of headaches - was only a few weeks and I was back on the road. Thank you, so much. read more

No, the general manager did not attempt to contact me. The only communication since then was an auto text, a day later, looking for me to reschedule. I see that you write this response to your complaints, but it is untrue in this case and likely untrue in your other cases too. Your company completely failed with everything- maybe you want to come clean to the public and let them know you can't handle the number of appointments you are taking instead of making people wait two months before letting them know. Still only one star and don't see how it could ever improve. read more
