    This is one of the worst corporate body shops on boulder highway I've ever seen do bodywork and mis-representation billing Customer originally asked for all the old parts and they claim to throw them away. I asked them to use Toyota parts and apparently on some of the products they used aftermarket, (keystone) which is how they make their money. I guess it's not about Customer service anymore or Customer Care it's about profit center The bad agent there was Named EFRAIN AND HIS GM Colleen

    I had initially done a review on my Dodge Ram where the company did an "okay" job but I had to return the truck as frame bolts were loose. Then my son was hit a few months later and took his SUV here. The body work was good but they gave him the vehicle back without having polished or buffed it where they added new paint, it was bad. They fixed it once it was brought back in l, and looked good when it was done, finally . Strike 2 Fast forward almost 2 years. My son was rear ended in his brand new Durango Hemi RT. The rear end damage wasn't terrible but needed repair, paint etc. when they called to let him know the car was ready we went on down. Upon looking at the rear of the vehicle we noticed the whole rear bumper was misaligned, the muffler pipes were centered in the bumper port holes etc, just completely off center, one side higher than the other.. just poor. When they took the vehicle back and lifted it they called us back to ask what the problem was. Really?!? So I stood there and showed them. (So obvious) I was now pissed off. I literally showed them how off it was by using frame and distance to spare etc, was off. They then stated maybe it was because some cars have off centered spares and that could be why it appears that way. Wait, what?! I wasn't buying it and had enough of this place. I told them don't call us until the car is right, again! 3 different times we went there (my fault totally) and ALL 3 times there were "significant" problems in workmanship and their QAQI processes. Get in and get them out is the likely their philosophy here which was made abundantly clear. Had it been once with an issue, okay. Twice? Maybe just an oversight, got it. Three times? Ya, bad work and terrible QAQI control. These vehicles are NOT being looked at when they say they're done. Frustrating when you feel like you're being takin for a ride in your own damn vehicle. There's an abundance of shops in the valley. My recommendation, find one that doesn't include the name "Gerber" I have never wrote such a scathing review on a business m, if you could call it that. However, this review was fully warranted and written with the hopes folks read them. Very disappointing, very let down. I. The end all three vehicles look good. However, multiple returns on each sleuth obvious shortcuts along the way. Steer clear here if you can

    Gerber Collision Auto & glass. Absolutely blew my expectations away. You never want to be in an accident. But they made the process easy from beginning to end. One of the best parts about Gerber was not only are they one of only 2 dealerships in the LV valley who are Mercedes' certified, they are the ONLY shop that is Mercedes' certified AND State Farm partnered. Which is an absolute dream to now know about. I didn't understand how important that was in the beginning. But having the work being certified by MB and insured by State Farm without any additional supplements or headaches was amazing. That was just the beginning. KEVIN who was my estimator( more like account executive) Called me weekly (sometimes by weekly) on Tuesday and Thursday giving me updated when he had them. They were so careful to not over promise and under deliver on timeframe, but they in fact did they exact opposite. They under promised and OVER delivered! These guys were great. I felt as though my car was in good hands taken care of and worked on properly. One final piece, my car has limited edition matte grey paint coloring which I was concerned about. They gave it back to me looking better than before, with a perfect seamless paint job. Thank you Gerber, thank you Kevin & Dave! And thank you to there awesome Mercedes' tech who took such great care of my baby! I told them, I hope I never see them again but if I do I know I'm in good hands.

    Honestly, don't know what rating to give them because I don't know how good of work they actually do but I just wanted to rate based on my experience with a particular person. So I set up an appointment with them through Allstate who they work with directly which is my insurance to get my rear bumper fixed for a claim I filed. So I get there for my appointment, go inside and wait maybe not even a couple minutes for whoever they assigned to come out and look at my car with me to come out with me. As we're walking to my car in the parking lot we were still maybe 10 feet away from my car still walking toward it and he already said "yeah we're not even gonna do that work we're going to decline it" before even getting fully to the car to look at it and said it with such attitude. He basically explained to me that he could tell it was previously worked on and was not done properly, but just used a bunch of filler, and it would now be a liability for them to work on it without fully replacing it and he knows already that Allstate my insurance wont want to pay for full replacement and it's too much of a liability for them to try and fix the current bumper itself. I told him "first of all yeah it was worked on before in a previous bumper incident, but whether it was previously worked on or not and done correctly or not in your eyes is beside the fact it's a new claim, and I'm bringing it to you to fix now whether that's keeping the current bumper or fully replacing it that's up for you guys to decide to let the Insurance know so they can say yes or no and pay you the money to do so." It seemed like he really didn't wanna give me the time of day nor did he even try to talk from the beginning. Just a flat no. Then, even though he already told me they were going to decline doing work. He was still somewhat nice enough to write up an estimate just for my knowledge how much I'd be looking at an estimate of which was about 750 total also stating it included an extra 130 bucks out of pocket for me for 50% the paint cost that he said the insurance will not cover 100% because they consider it depreciated paint anyway so with the extra 130+ my deductible of only hundred I'll be paying 230. Well jokes on him and his shop. Called my insurance and told them what happened. Sent photos of the damage in myself to them and they were more than happy to give me a full replacement estimate covering paint and everything 100% to take to any shop I wanted which I did and it is currently being worked on now fully covered by Allstate, whom they work with directly and not the shop I'm using. This place lost out on something that was probably going to be a quick fix and easy money for them. Attached are the pictures of the damage they declined to fix without even hesitating to get any closer to the car. Don't have any fix pictures yet because it's still in the shop.

    Really impressed with Gerber Collision & Glass. I was recommended to to them by my insurance company Travelers for a rear bumper replacement. I went in for an inspection, which was super fast (15 minutes) and from there scheduled a day the next week to have the work done. I dropped my car off the following Monday and shockingly they called me the next day to say it was done. WOW, that was fast!!! The bumper looks amazing, like it was original to the car and the paint is a perfect match. The receptionist at the desk was really helpful and my claim handler Dan was really great as well. He let me know everything I needed to know in advance and called me with an update early Tuesday morning and surprisingly again Tuesday afternoon to say it was done. This is the only place I will go should I ever need collision repair or glass replacement services in the future. Also, they got me a shuttle to Enterprise Car Rental when I dropped my car off and let me leave the rental car there when I picked my car up. They took care of returning the rental to Enterprise for me. All in all Amazing Service!!!!!

Then what is the technique blending? I don't know many people out there will paint a whole car (minus door hood and trunk if you want to be technical) for a small scratch on the corner Now if you said spot painting will make blends visible then why the top portion of the cobra the blend is not visible and only the bottom? The reason I posted this now is because the cobra got scratched again (same area) the collision center (a good shop) repaired it and I can't see any mismatch in color, Again I'm not sure if you guys overlooked, but the top of cobra is correct with good blending the bottom doesn't show blending at all.

    Recently, while parked, another driver took a turn too sharply and struck the rear corner of my…read more2024 Toyota Tacoma, shattering the taillight and damaging the bumper. The at-fault party wanted to handle the repairs outside of insurance, and honestly, this turned out to be one of the smoothest and most hassle-free auto collision experiences I've ever had. I called to schedule an estimate and was greeted warmly by the receptionist upon arrival. My appraiser, Erika, met me right away. I pointed out the damaged areas, and she quickly inspected the truck, taking notes for a few minutes before stepping back inside. About five minutes later, she returned with a clear, detailed estimate. Since I was paying out of pocket (self-pay), I needed to cover a deposit--essentially the cost of the parts--before they could order them. Erika explained that once the parts arrived, I could drop the truck off, and the repair would take about four days. A few days later, I called to make the deposit over the phone using Zelle to avoid the credit card surcharge. The next day, Erika followed up to confirm the parts were ordered and expected to arrive by Friday or, at the latest, the following Monday. We scheduled the drop-off for that Monday, and true to their word, I had the truck back by Friday--fully repaired and looking great. Throughout the entire process, Erika kept me updated with a quick status call every few days, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. This was at one of only two Toyota Certified Collision Centers in the area, and the difference really showed. Professional, efficient, and communicative from start to finish--I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing bodywork on their Toyota.

    It's been nearly a year and unfortunately I need to write a review warning anyone who values their…read morevehicle to stay clear of Colorpoint. I was involved in a pretty expensive car accident - the other driver turned left right into me - resulting in over $20,000 in damages to the truck. Toyota of Henderson worked on the suspension damage, while they recommended Colorpoint to do the body work. I assumed having Toyota certification, plus being recommended by the dealership, would be a sign that this was a trustworthy shop. That couldn't be further from the truth. Colorpoint's technician who worked on the truck had zero idea what he was doing. This is a 4WD truck, and he glued nearly everything back together again. No bolts. Glue. No OEM replacements. He created more damage than he repaired. After picking up my truck the first time, I had to document all the poor quality workmanship and return to Colorpoint to have them repair all that work. They fired the technician immediately, but simply could not manage to return the truck to a quality condition. It wasn't their fault... it was one bad technician. As someone paying top dollar for repairs, I assumed management would know how to hire competent people. They couldn't even take accountability for their poor management. They were faulty to the point of negligence. They didn't bother to screw down the body back onto the frame. It drove wonky. After two visits back to the Toyota Dealership, a mechanical technician identified the problem: the body wasn't securely attached to the frame! Colorpoint was quick to demand payment, but completely skirted their responsibility to deliver a quality body shop repair. If your body shop needs are beyond a paint chip, I would caution bringing your vehicle here. Their inconsistency simply isn't worth the headache.
