The Wagners are very honest about timetables and costs. They are good about telling you what various options you have for parts, types of repairs, etc so you understand what the opportunity costs are with respect to time, money, convenience, and quality. They are also very responsive about looping customers in on communication with the insurance companies. I appreciated that the Wagners were willing to explain auto body 101 concepts to me -- they are humble and there is no talking down or condescension when repairs/car issues are being explained. On sort of a side note, by talking to Rob I learned a lot about car bodies and just generally got some bigger picture insight into car repairs, the insurance industry, and supply chain issues. The Wagners just come across as being very decent and thoughtful guys. And not least of all, the quality of the repair is fantastic. The car looks like new and feels new. Even though I live in the eastern part of the city of Pittsburgh and the Wagners are out in a northern suburb, I would make them my first choice for future big repairs. I am satisfied with the work on the car and they even washed and vacuumed it. But, a few things I need to mention: My car was not done on time, and I ended up having to go get it a day late. This was NBD for me, but I could see it being a problem for someone else. Statefarm told me that they would come pick up my car at my house and bring it back when they were done, they said that is just not true and no one really does this (maybe that should be a comment for statefarm, not Pittsburgh Collision). Their parking lot is super tiny and a major pain to get in and out of during rush hour. Overall, I am satisfied, and the issues I had were minor, really they didn't even bother me, but I could see someone else getting bent out of shape about them.

The elderly owner looked at the door, went back into the garage, came out with a wooden block, placed it in door hinge, opened/closed door several times, removed block, pulled down in door with his body weight, closed door & it WAS FIXED!!!!!!! He told me "no charge" Lol. I gave him some cash and told him to buy himself a dinner up the Little Italy Days. Needless to say, Ill never go to Pittsburgh Collision for any service.

I dropped my car off and they looked at it right away. To my relief, they explained that my car was fine and why the grinding was happening. While I waited, they turned the TV on for me and had a very nice waiting area. They didn't even charge me for looking at the car--I know other shops would have or would have tried to replace the brakes. I will be returning!

Wolbert's accepts car insurance claims and with my company they are on the preferred list. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. I was given a preliminary estimate and they were able to schedule me three days later. They told me it would take two days to complete the work. I deferred the repair until after Holy week since the car was drive able. I took the car in yesterday and got a complimentary ride home. You are given a website link with your estimate so you can check the progress of your repair. This helps greatly when there is "hidden" damage. In my case there were two other pieces needed. I was a little apprehensive as to how long it would take to get those pieces but they had them the next day. I got called mid afternoon letting me know my card was ready. They came and picked me up. I settled the deductible and the staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome as I waited for them to bring my car back to me. They also gave me the final estimate which would be turned into insurance so I would know the exact amount of the claim. They offered me free soft drink from the refrigerator. I loved looking at the three turtles they had acquired that had grown and were sitting on their train tracks. I should note that Wolbert's does not use genuine dealer parts which is a requirement when filing a claim with my company. Since the work being done was cosmetic and they also verified I had no mechanical damage I was grateful. The front of the car looked like it never hit anything. Also, they offer free complimentary car wash with your repair. For me that is helpful no matter what the weather because the undercarriage is what really is important when getting the car cleaned. My insurance company has warranted the repairs lifetime outside of normal wear and tear. I've used their services years ago and remembered how pleased I was with them. I feel a lot better having my own car back so I can drive again. Located on East Crafton Ave near Sarafino's they are open weekdays only. Also, note that if you arrange a rental then they will have the company bring that car to you at their business and will have them pick it up from there when the work is completed.

They don't meet deadlines and they don't finish their work. Theeen!, they will tell you not to wash the car for one month so you drive around in the winter with that salt on your car for the whole month, something that no experts in the car repairs have ever heard of. You drive around inhaling all the dust from whatever it is they were grinding if I may put it politely..its allover your starring wheel, vents! seats! You smell death while driving your brand new car that had just a small dent that took them 29 days to fix @ a price of 7k!.. I hope you are all good readers. Will never forget this experience.
