A friend recommended this park and glad that I stopped by, it was worth the visit. The Whitestone bridge view is captivating. The sound of the water waves and the breeze of the air are relaxing. The vista of the afar nearby town is beautiful. The park has huge green fields perfect for picnicking, exercising and playing. There is a nice children playground. Street parking only. Location is in a safe neighborhood. Close to parkway exits. A recommended park to visit especially that it doesn't get much crowded comparable to other parks nearby.

The beautiful little park in northern Queens with an unobstructed view of the Whitestone Bridge. Clean with ample street parking.

What a beautiful park! I love how spacious it is and the views of the Whitestone Bridge are gorgeous! This a great park to go to if you are into photography. I highly recommend coming when sun is setting -you'll get amazing effects of the water and bridge. For me, my favorite part about this park is that it almost never gets to crowed. It's a great place to chill and there's a lot to do here. They have a couple of basketball courts, bocce ball lanes, a good size playground with a cute little spash pad, a small beach where people sometimes go fishing at and lots of grassy trails. There are buses that stop close by but also plenty of street parking if you are driving here. The neighborhood is quiet which makes for a nice relaxing and safe atmosphere in the park. The whole park is really clean and there are bathrooms near the basketball courts. It really is a great park and a hidden gem in Queens.

Cute scenic park. You can go up close to the tides and sand. See the pretty bridge and lights. There are several spots to chill whether on the grass field, basketball court, or benches. The vibes are good. Lot of children running around and senior citizens relaxing. Safe place to visit with your loved ones. I enjoyed it

I love this park. One of Queens' best kept secrets. Nice to come anytime of day but best when the sun is just going down to see the way the light hits the Whitestone bridge. It's northeast queens own little secluded beach

Great spot to have a picnic, read a book under a tree or walk down to the water and get your feet wet. The beach was surprisingly clean, and my dog loved jumping in for a refreshing swim. There are not many spots I can take my dog swimming so this was a wonderful find for us.

Beautiful park! I came here for a walk with my clients and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's a great place to play basketball, soccer and run around. There's a big hill that's great for getting some cardio exercise in. It'll definitely help you bust a sweat. There's a huge lake at the bottom of the hill and you can see the Whitestone bridge which is sooooo beautiful at night time. There are bathrooms which is a plus. There's also chairs where you can sit and relax. Parking is available. You can park on the sides of he park or in the residential streets. I will return

Great for a walk or afternoon stroll. Breathtaking views of the sunset and bridge at night. It's usually clean here, maybe you can even have a quick picnic in the summer months! There's parking around the area as well as gorgeous houses. The entire Whitestone area is beautiful and this park adds to it.

It's also quite popular for golfers who want to ferry from Wall Street since there is a Gold Course as well. The soccer fields were pretty busy with games, but still plenty of space and picnic tables with or without shade and water views. Managed to find just a couple trees that could handle a hammock which made it easy to enjoy the inside areas of the park. There's one bathroom and it was fairly well maintained- just a bit of a walk from the ferry- but close for the soccer fields and parking lot.

Honestly, unless they live here, I don't know of any people going to College Point unless it is to the big box stores on 20th Ave. I get it, you either need to bus it or drive here since there is no train/subway access. The streets are narrow and the buses are wide making it even more intimidating to venture north in Queens, which is a shame because this area is lovely with its waterfront park. The view has "the city" off into the distance, Rikers island and LaGuardia airport with its low flying planes a bit closer and you may be able to steal a glimpse of the Whitestone bridge, but nearby Powell Cove's park may be better spot for that. The park was under construction in some parts so sections were closed off, but there are nice grassy areas. Benches line the waterfront and walkways that trace it making for a nice spot to chat with a friend providing they aren't suffering from springtime allergies that is - lots of pent up pollen in them trees! A couple of pro-tips: parking is street nearby and probably not the best smelling waterfront at low tide.
