We spend a couple of months in Florence most Springs and go to FrancescoVini at least once a week for lunch or dinner. And also often just for drinks outside on one of their patios. We have probably tried everything on the menu and never been disappointed. I even had a group of American friends and family, and Italian friends and family, help me celebrate a big birthday here. We always bring visiting guests too. Our Italian friends enjoy it as much as our American friends do. Fabio and the staff are friendly and we look forward to seeing and chatting with them each time. We can't wait to return again!

Came to this place after our tour as a recommendation. I had the wild boar pasta and some tiramisu. The pasta was sooo good, the meat was very tender and the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tiramisu was also good, the ratio of the cream to filling was good. Overall was a good experience. It's a very nice restaurant

Typical Italian restaurant with patio seating in Florence. The misters on the patio caught our attention on a hot day while we were walking through town and we decided to stop. There's also an impressive display of aging meats in the window-I'd love to try a steak here. Service was kind and the food was pretty good. I didn't prefer the pesto noodles, but I think that was just personal preference.

Amazing food! Truffle mashed potatoes, steak, and spaghetti. All was fabulous. Great atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend.

florentine steak is a must order. Filet side was so tender and strip was juicy and pretty fatty in a good way. I loved the fried pizza dough, cream cheese, prosciutto combination. And the pizza dough was super salty (yum)

This place was so good that we ate here twice while we were in Florence. The food and service were fantastic. We loved the bistecca alla fiorentina and papperdelle with rabbit. One of the best steaks we've ever had, and the pastas were all delicious! Can't wait to visit again next time we are in Italy!

Stumbled on this place for lunch while walking through Florence (Princess cruise excursion) and hit the jackpot! Could not have found a better typical Florentine outdoor eatery with top-notch food and service. Had the stuffed chicken and seafood pasta. Molto bene/delicioso!! English-speaking server was a plus.

Great food. Great service. Perfect location. Eat outside to people watch and enjoy cool misting.

One of our favorite outdoor cafes, it was a treat to enjoy a great meal while watching interesting locals on the street. The wild boar pasta was my favorite but you can't beet the anti pasta plate. The fresh meat and cheeses paired so well with the red wine that I thought I was in Heaven. I have recommended this restaurant many times to US travelers as it was one of our favorite restauratns in Florence. Definately try it! buen provecho

Bistecca Alla Fiorentina 1.2kg with small bowl of tartufo mashed potatoes behind it accompanied with glass of Chianti.

Great service and delicious food! My time in Florence was extremely limited and one of my bucket-list items was to try the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, popular Tuscan style steak. I ran into this place while shopping for leather and almost passed it up due to my limited time. My family convinced my to dine here since they knew it was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. The steak was deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked medium rare. The tartufo mashed potatoes were amazing. The pasta, made in house was perfectly cooked Al dente with fresh ingredients. The location was great as it was off the main touristy area providing a relaxing and pleasant ambiance. Great wine list. Definitely a must try.

Ravioli with spinach

The food was absolutely delicious! Something for everyone for sure! The drinks were also amazing and they give you ice! The bruschetta appetizer is SOOO worth it but it does only come with 2 slices of bread per order. I got the ravioli with spinach and it did not disappoint! Although it's only 4 noodles, it felt like plenty! The service was good and they were attentive. The ambiance is very nice, you can dress up or down and make the experience yours!

It can be tough to find really great restaurants very close to big tourist attractions, but we got lucky and stumble into this one.

A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We had the steak with balsamic and risotto. Both were fantastic.

My servers were helpful by answering my questions. My pasta dish was just okay and that's where the one star was lost. I cannot recall what the name of my appetizer was, but it was lamb and very flavorful! I would eat there again.

It's a perfect little spot to catch lunch outside or have a bottle of wine to people watch. There…read morewere only two tings that I didn't like; one of which I don't think the restaurant has much control over. That being said, the first thing was the service. It's rather slow. I don't know if it's slow to me because crazy Americans think everything should be faster than not. So I wish I could give half stars. They are super nice ..,it just took a while to get my order in. The second thing that I don't think they can control is the people who walk around trying to sell you something. They're a bit aggressive. With me looking like them, they beelined for me the two times we sat there near the entrance. So I suggest sitting inside away from that because they can't come in. There is this little cute table that we sat at that is on the edge of the inside but the window is a roll up window giving you access to the outside patio. That is where the can still get to you but can't come all the way in....except this one lady. She stepped all the way in....i was shocked. And got aggressive with me when I told her no thank you. The trick?...they told me "I'm beautiful" "like your natural hair..." and since they liked me, they said "I give to you..." and handed me two bracelets and a fan. I said no thank you and she kept shouting "excuse me...I give to you..." I set them on the table and she gave me the son story of being pregnant and since she give to me, I should give to her for the gift. I said no one final time and she snatched everything off the table and left...FINALLY. Ugh. So not sure if the restaurant can do more but they need to.

We came back to Fratellini a couple times during our trip to try different sandwiches, and every sandwich we tried was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick, and there was no line. They do offer alcoholic beverages, but their sandwiches are the star of the show!

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. Watch out for the pigeons getting ready to take your crumbs too, you can see them on the ledge of the building getting ready to attack. A must visit for Florence.
