We recently hired Framework Construction to remodel our master bathroom. Overall they did a great job. We are pleased with the final result. The guys that did the tile and plumbing were great, very meticulous. There were a few frustrating delays, some of which were not their fault but related to inspections and material shortages, but that's common with most construction jobs. Some of the finishing, particularly the dry wall and painting were more average, good enough but not great. Overall, We are enjoying our bathroom and it came out as we had planned. I highly recommend you read the reviews here and check out this company on that Better Business Bureau website. I was speaking with them for two months about projects and even had an agreement. Their sales rep, Gal, called himself a project manager. Turns out he's not qualified to consult on construction. Seems he's just a sales rep. I had been asking for normal details about the project and how and when it would start. Gal refused to answer simple questions. After no replies for days I hear from him at 6:48pm on a Friday: he text me that the plans we had for Monday were not going to work out. I text back asking what happened. His reply was "It's 7pm. I don't work day and night. I will call you on Sunday". That is ludicrous. So in 12 minutes he suddenly decided it was too late to text and I only asked the one question- which he dodged like the others. I wrote a Yelp review. A man who identified himself as the owner, Amos (Adam), contacted me and asked if I'd take it down and he'd take over the project. He came to the house for yet another walk through. Amos is not the name on the contract, the contractor license or the business license so I can't be sure if he's the owner. It's just was he said. He scouted the project and had a completely different assessment of the work and scope/cost. He was probably more accurate by my observation. That said, he also refused to answer basic questions shoot how they were going to accomplish the work. Started to seem like a bait & switch. Quote one price, prolong for two months and then come back with a higher price once they wasted two months of my time and me turning down other contractors. I pressed for more clarity and he said he'd get back to me. He then called four days later and said their company wasn't capable of taking one building the roof on my balcony but they'd still do the smaller add on work. I no longer had confidence in this company so i said their contract is null & void due to them changing the terms. Thankfully no money or work happened. Just a lot of wasted time for me and time I took off work to meet them for the multiple scouts. This may be a company that was successful in landscaping and pavers but not capable of expanding to bigger construction projects. I can't be certain. I would not work with them. Do your homework and make sure you insist on a permit if you decide to work with Framework Construction. read more

Ariel was my project manager and was absolutely perfect, from the first consultation through every step of the work. I had fence toppers fitted and installed, and pavers designed and laid down in the backyard and side yard. Ariel helped me with several options and combinations of execution to keep me on budget while providing important feedback that ultimately allowed the entire project to finish on time and within budget. I would give this company 0 stars if possible. As a new homeowner, I trusted Framework to oversee different aspects of the home - primarily to install a new roof and two new windows. We understood that the existing style of roof (Spanish clay tile) would remain, but that ALL NEW tiles would be ordered (the existing tiles were cracked, discolored, etc). Despite having signed the contract in October 2023, the "work" did not begin until December 2023. Liav Dahan, our project manager, was extremely rude and evasive, often not responding to texts or calls. The subcontractors for the roof were constantly unaware of what the project actually involved, they informed me they were told to only work on the roof of the house, meanwhile, our contract involved both the house and detached garage. I asked numerous times about picking out the new tile, and they assured me this would be done later, and that they knew what we were getting. All the while, they never ordered any tile (or windows), going as far as to put the OLD TILE back on the roof. The old tiles were put back on the roof without my knowledge and consent, and I had to learn of this by catching the subcontractors in the act. When I told the subcontractors to remove them, they told me that they were specifically instructed to re-install the old tiles by Framework and that they would not remove them without their approval. They had the decency to cover the roof amidst the rain as I tried to work things over with them and ask about still ordering new tile (which they now tried to charge me extra for) but they completely ghosted me, leaving debris in and around my home, creating a safety hazard despite my numerous requests to at least clean up after themselves. Ron, Liav's supervisor, and Liav have only since reached out to threaten ME legally after they received notice that I've submitted this company to the Contractor's Board and Better Business Bureau (BBB). Please do yourself a favor and do not hire them for any work whatsoever. Do your due diligence, and see for yourself all their settled complaints on BBB's website. read more

I was looking for an honest construction company that could rebuild our block wall and redo our front yard to make it drought tolerant. We had previously prepped it for turf, but costs on our backyard with another company had forced us to postpone that project. I used Yelp to search for multiple contractors for our wall and all of the others were trying to upsale me on a totally wall rebuild and to get structural building plans drawn up for it with an extra cost of $4,000. Plus one event tried to lock me in by signing a contract the same day he came. I made an appointment with Simona from Framework and she honestly told me that we didn't need plans and would work within our budget. I showed her the front yard and we came up with a game plan based on our ideas and hers together. I did save some money by pulling a permit with a phone call to the city and an online submission, but Framework could have done it if we wanted. I had my rooftop redone by Framework. They were responsive from my first message on Yelp and were in constant communication with me during the construction process. I was quoted by several companies and I chose Framework because the estimate was reasonable and the time frame which the work would be completed was the shortest. We were looking for a contractor to install pavers in our backyard and driveway. We got in touch with project mgr Ariel who came to our house to provide his quote. We signed the contract right on the quote day since the price was right and Ariel was nice enough to add additional side work without extra cost. The next day Ariel got the crew working right away and they finished the job, demolishing old concrete floor and installing new pavers, in less than two weeks. The crew did a great job on pavers and Ariel did a fantastic job on his end as a project mgr, he was attentive at the job site and responsive to phone calls and text messages. We hired Framework last March after vetting several contractors for a backyard hardscape project. They put in a long path from the front yard all the way around to the back, leading to a faux deck. We originally wanted a wood deck to replace our old concrete patio but Simona showed us wood textured stone pavers instead. It looks great. So 360 days later we called Simona to come back and do the other half of our yard to tie the whole yard up. We used the path stones to create a lower patio next to the faux wood deck and it looks great. Remember to get everything, and I mean everything in writing with itemized costs and clear drawings that show every measurement.
