I had many estimates to add concrete work done at our new home. We are so glad we chose Framework Construction. Kiko Ida came out and was very professional. He respected the COVID issues, and was very personable. He envisioned our space, and honestly wanted to make us happy. His crew worked every day for a week to complete the project. The crew was also very nice and accommodating. I have the utmost respect for the hard work they did. By the end we couldn't be more happy. Kiko was honest and reasonable. I highly recommend this company for any type of work needed around your home. Thank for making our yard look amazing!!! read more

Framework did a beautiful job converting our old worn out brick and mismatched dg into a gorgeous cohesive paver design. Simona was the project manager. She was very responsive to any questions we had and was nice to work with. She also had good ideas from a design perspective and everything turned out perfect. We love spending time in our new beautiful backyard now and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I do however still have the dumpster from the project in front of my house so I'm hoping that gets removed soon (it's been a week) read more

The finished the job at the time they said it would be completed and we couldn;t be happier with the quality of the work! We just finished our remodel with Framework and we love the results. We initially were just doing the backyard, then we added painting the house/replacing the fascia and adding gates, then we went all in and added the front yard. We have an amazing collection of pavers, retaining wall, synthetic turf (no more grass...yes!), patio cover, seating area, stepping stones, offset lighted steps, and landscaped front and back. Adam and his team came up with great designs, and the finished results look just like "artist renditions." Every day we have people stopping in front of the house--looking and pointing at the results; that didn't happen before! Thank you Framework for a job well done! We will certainly be calling them for our next project. read more

Everything I could've hoped for and more! We needed our front yard paved, gated in, and our front steps tiled. Framework gave us a great bid and promised to complete on an amazingly fast schedule. Having contracted for lots of work before, my wife and I were very skeptical. But Framework really came through! Job was completed in a very timely fashion and to a very high standard. Ariel and the entire Framework crew were a pleasure to deal with. I would absolutely hire them again. Alan Munro read more

I want to say big thank you to this company, I had a big pool project that was pretty complicated. I took couple estimates, and it was hard to determine who is the best one until this company arrived. the value for the great price was totally worth it! The most important part is that the communication was great since day one. they explained to me exactly what they can do and how much time it's gonna take and eventually it was even faster than I thought. I felt secure, mostly because they took care of all the permits that needs to be done on time. I'll definitely recommend on this company to my friends and everyone I know! read more

Feeling Blessed once again. Winning my lawsuit with this company was my biggest blessing but now my newest update is being able to sell the defective turf Framework installed for "AS IS CONDITiON" rather than the hassle and cost of a disposal fee. I was fortunate enough to find someone who will cut out the many bad areas and reuse the leftover parts in scattered areas of their property. read more

We've been living with the world's smallest backyard space because we had a makeshift retaining wall in our backyard when we purchased our home. Five years later and we were finally able to find an affordable contractor who would do the work we wanted without charging an arm and a leg. Framework go the job done in less than a month and doubled the size of our usable back yard space! read more

This company just completed a job for us. First of all their communication is first class always letting us know ahead of time when to expect people. They went to incredible lengths to match some 20 yr old brickwork, completely understood the urgency of the project, finished on time, and left the area clean and tidy. Thank you it was a pleasure. read more

We recently hired Framework Construction to remodel our master bathroom. Overall they did a great job. We are pleased with the final result. The guys that did the tile and plumbing were great, very meticulous. There were a few frustrating delays, some of which were not their fault but related to inspections and material shortages, but that's common with most construction jobs. Some of the finishing, particularly the dry wall and painting were more average, good enough but not great. Overall, We are enjoying our bathroom and it came out as we had planned. I believe completely in Framework Construction for all landscaping, fencing, pavers design and installation and all other work one might need to realize their vision of an exterior living space. Ariel was my project manager and was absolutely perfect, from the first consultation through every step of the work. I had fence toppers fitted and installed, and pavers designed and laid down in the backyard and side yard. Ariel helped me with several options and combinations of execution to keep me on budget while providing important feedback that ultimately allowed the entire project to finish on time and within budget. The end-result is more than I could have dreamed. Do not go anywhere else, people. Framework Construction is legit and the best out there. My sincere thanks to Ariel and the numerous crew who helped me create an inviting and beautiful outdoor living space, one that I will enjoy with family and friends for years to come. read more

I got in touch with Framework to do some hardscaping and our project manager, Jonathan, was great to work with. We actually shopped around a few different quotes but felt Jonathan wasn't a salesman, but rather was listening to our vision and provided lots of considerations to add in as well. Unfortunately we had to put our dream on pause at this time but the team has been very helpful and outstanding professionals. I'll be sure to get Framework back in the fold once we can pick this back up. read more

I highly recommend you read the reviews here and check out this company on that Better Business Bureau website. I was speaking with them for two months about projects and even had an agreement. Their sales rep, Gal, called himself a project manager. Turns out he's not qualified to consult on construction. Seems he's just a sales rep. I had been asking for normal details about the project and how and when it would start. Gal refused to answer simple questions. After no replies for days I hear from him at 6:48pm on a Friday: he text me that the plans we had for Monday were not going to work out. I text back asking what happened. His reply was "It's 7pm. I don't work day and night. I will call you on Sunday". That is ludicrous. So in 12 minutes he suddenly decided it was too late to text and I only asked the one question- which he dodged like the others. I wrote a Yelp review. A man who identified himself as the owner, Amos (Adam), contacted me and asked if I'd take it down and he'd take over the project. He came to the house for yet another walk through. Amos is not the name on the contract, the contractor license or the business license so I can't be sure if he's the owner. It's just was he said. He scouted the project and had a completely different assessment of the work and scope/cost. He was probably more accurate by my observation. That said, he also refused to answer basic questions shoot how they were going to accomplish the work. Started to seem like a bait & switch. Quote one price, prolong for two months and then come back with a higher price once they wasted two months of my time and me turning down other contractors. I pressed for more clarity and he said he'd get back to me. He then called four days later and said their company wasn't capable of taking one building the roof on my balcony but they'd still do the smaller add on work. I no longer had confidence in this company so i said their contract is null & void due to them changing the terms. Thankfully no money or work happened. Just a lot of wasted time for me and time I took off work to meet them for the multiple scouts. This may be a company that was successful in landscaping and pavers but not capable of expanding to bigger construction projects. I can't be certain. I would not work with them. Do your homework and make sure you insist on a permit if you decide to work with Framework Construction. read more

I would give this company 0 stars if possible. As a new homeowner, I trusted Framework to oversee different aspects of the home - primarily to install a new roof and two new windows. We understood that the existing style of roof (Spanish clay tile) would remain, but that ALL NEW tiles would be ordered (the existing tiles were cracked, discolored, etc). Despite having signed the contract in October 2023, the "work" did not begin until December 2023. Liav Dahan, our project manager, was extremely rude and evasive, often not responding to texts or calls. The subcontractors for the roof were constantly unaware of what the project actually involved, they informed me they were told to only work on the roof of the house, meanwhile, our contract involved both the house and detached garage. I asked numerous times about picking out the new tile, and they assured me this would be done later, and that they knew what we were getting. All the while, they never ordered any tile (or windows), going as far as to put the OLD TILE back on the roof. The old tiles were put back on the roof without my knowledge and consent, and I had to learn of this by catching the subcontractors in the act. When I told the subcontractors to remove them, they told me that they were specifically instructed to re-install the old tiles by Framework and that they would not remove them without their approval. They had the decency to cover the roof amidst the rain as I tried to work things over with them and ask about still ordering new tile (which they now tried to charge me extra for) but they completely ghosted me, leaving debris in and around my home, creating a safety hazard despite my numerous requests to at least clean up after themselves. Ron, Liav's supervisor, and Liav have only since reached out to threaten ME legally after they received notice that I've submitted this company to the Contractor's Board and Better Business Bureau (BBB). Please do yourself a favor and do not hire them for any work whatsoever. Do your due diligence, and see for yourself all their settled complaints on BBB's website. read more

I had my rooftop redone by Framework. They were responsive from my first message on Yelp and were in constant communication with me during the construction process. I was quoted by several companies and I chose Framework because the estimate was reasonable and the time frame which the work would be completed was the shortest. The project manager Adam said it would be done in a week, and it took 8 days. I've had my kitchen remodeled in the past and a 4-6 week project turned into a 3 month nightmare so I prepared myself for another possible failure. But Framework held their end of the bargain. I am so happy with the results. With all single family townhouse-like homes sprouting across Los Angeles, I definitely recommend Framework to get the job done if you're looking to add a little spice to your rooftop. The best part of working with this company was Nir Shik our project manager. He is a wonderful human being and a great communicator! Unlike the snake oil salesman we've had before with poor communication skills, high pressure sales, mediocre workmanship and unreliability this construction team, did what I asked on the budget I had and in timely manner. I was looking for an honest construction company that could rebuild our block wall and redo our front yard to make it drought tolerant. We had previously prepped it for turf, but costs on our backyard with another company had forced us to postpone that project. I used Yelp to search for multiple contractors for our wall and all of the others were trying to upsale me on a totally wall rebuild and to get structural building plans drawn up for it with an extra cost of $4,000. Plus one event tried to lock me in by signing a contract the same day he came. I made an appointment with Simona from Framework and she honestly told me that we didn't need plans and would work within our budget. I showed her the front yard and we came up with a game plan based on our ideas and hers together. I did save some money by pulling a permit with a phone call to the city and an online submission, but Framework could have done it if we wanted. The workers were very professional and did an amazing job. If and when we need work in the future, we will definitely be calling Framework! Thanks Simona and crew! read more

I'm updating the review based on the experience with the owner. I still feel as if I was lied to and the PM didn't know about gatorbar vs rebar or ACO drainage. We hired Framework last March after vetting several contractors for a backyard hardscape project. They put in a long path from the front yard all the way around to the back, leading to a faux deck. We originally wanted a wood deck to replace our old concrete patio but Simona showed us wood textured stone pavers instead. It looks great. So 360 days later we called Simona to come back and do the other half of our yard to tie the whole yard up. We used the path stones to create a lower patio next to the faux wood deck and it looks great. Remember to get everything, and I mean everything in writing with itemized costs and clear drawings that show every measurement. We would recommend Framework for any patio and hardscape project. read more

We were looking for a contractor to install pavers in our backyard and driveway. We got in touch with project mgr Ariel who came to our house to provide his quote. We signed the contract right on the quote day since the price was right and Ariel was nice enough to add additional side work without extra cost. The next day Ariel got the crew working right away and they finished the job, demolishing old concrete floor and installing new pavers, in less than two weeks. The crew did a great job on pavers and Ariel did a fantastic job on his end as a project mgr, he was attentive at the job site and responsive to phone calls and text messages. There were some work imperfections in the process, but Ariel got the crew to correct whatever we asked to. Overall, we're satisfied with Framework and the outcome of the job. We highly recommend the project mgr Ariel if you contact Framework for home remodeling. read more

So my wife and bought a new house and we set out trying to redo somethings. I probably went through 10-15 different contractors either on the phone or coming out and giving estimates and couldnt really get a straight answer out of anyone. I was ready to just bite the bullet and sign with someone who was clearly inflating his prices and refusing to itemize his bid when I just randomly called Framework. Cool thing was I got real answers over the phone. How much is sod pe sq ft? answered. How much is gravel? answered. Everyone else I talked to tried to make an appointment and come out and wouldnt give hard numbers.
