Amazing service for pedicure. They actually are very friendly here and take their time!

As a guy this was my first time getting a manicure and a pedicure. I had a great time! Tiana did a wonderful job. I knew I wanted black gel on one hand and something a bit more colorful on the other. When I asked her what she would suggest she busted out a bright green chrome coating to put over a bright green base! I love it! read more

Foxy Nails continues to be a 5 star experience! I was surprised when Don and Tina sold the business and wasn't sure if the new owners could keep up the high standards that were in place. Well I'm happy to say that the new owners are wonderful! They have made a few updates to the salon that are lovely and the salon is spotlessly clean. I have been very pleased with my gel fills and gel pedicures. They have lasted the appropriate amount of time without any issues. The products seem to be the same good quality as always and they continue to run on time which is so important. I'm so happy that Foxy Nails will continue to be my go to nail salon. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

I was pretty disappointed in my overall experience. I came here because it was so highly rated but walked away surprised it has such good reviews. They seem to specialize in acrylics and nail design, so if that's what you're looking for, they may be an appropriate salon for you. I had a deluxe pedicure (regular polish) and manicure with dip. The pedicure had a few flaws. The water temperature was cold, the technician did not push back or remove cuticles, and cut toe nails very short without asking. It looks like my feet haven't been buffed in a few weeks even though I just went a few days ago. The chair was broken so I was unable to turn on the massage feature. The manicure was also underwhelming. The technician was very rough when filing and shaped my nails into squares, again without asking. I prefer rounded. They also did not trim cuticles and the sides and tips of my nails are uneven. The dip polish itself came out a bit streaky and is not on all of the nail. One nail seemed to have debris in it and it came out with a bump. The technician finished letting my nails dry, told me to wash my hands and then left me without indicating the service was over or massaging my hands. Generally, the place was clean but not sparkling. It didn't seem unclean but there were some things that seemed less sanitary like nail dust and clippings in the space between the towel my hands were on and the end of the station. They had a wide color selection and repeatedly offered water. Overall, I think my disappointment was driven by the glowing reviews versus my actual experience. I will be trying another salon before coming back but it wasn't terrible. read more

Stopped by during a visit to my aunt after a trip to Vegas and came on her recommendation. I'm always picky about doing my nails and the cleanliness of places after having a bad experience at one. Foxy Nails was super clean! The owner I believe, Eric, told me he recently remodeled. Think it looks great and was super hygienic. My nails looked great after a thorough manicure. 10/10 Bring pictures to show! read more

Worst nail salon in Reno. Went for a simple mani/ pedi. Confirmed that upon arrival with friend. After the pedi they had a walk in group of three people. They immediately sat them down, then kept checking the polish on our toes every 10 minutes saying they weren't dry. They were, but they took the walk ins and didn't have enough people to do our manis. After 30 minutes of our "drying" time they said they didn't know we booked a mani. Sat us down and I experienced the worst manicure of my life- thick Lubriderm lotion was involved. A shiny buff is an additional charge. Doesn't round nails, merely clips and moves on. Salon was DIRTY and ALL equipment was REUSED. Towels on nail stations were not switched between customers. Many upset customers while inside. Was NOT relaxing. And was a very chaotic environment. Will NEVER return and would NEVER recommend. I'm sorry for posting this, but I just want to warn anyone who is considering to save your money, time, and risk of infection. read more

made an appointment for 4pm and got parked for 35 minutes at massage chair that didn't work. Waited so long the water got cold. No one even came up to me to tell me how long it would be and 35 minutes without any update is inexcusable as they Made the appointment. Will not be back read more

Wow what can I say, I have been to many nail shops here in the Reno area and by FAR foxy nails is the best! Eric is super professional and consistent very friendly staff as well, but the true icing on the cake is that eric is also very rememberable he even remembers my husband name and he has only been in once or twice! Just overall professional and very good people! Thank you eric and foxy nails read more

Foxy Nails is under new ownership. Erik and Tiana are amazing. I was sad to see the old owners go as I really liked them. But I could never find a truly great nail tech before Tiana came to foxy. She is a true talent and really loves her work, and it shows. I was never a regular for acrylic nails because I found in the past they were more trouble than they were worth, especially if I only liked how they were done half of the time. Tiana does an amazing job EVERY time. And she will adjust if you do not like it during the process. She manages to make the thick acrylics look natural at any length. And always makes me feel pretty. Tiana isn't the only great nail tech there though. Any time I bring my friends and family, everyone is pleased and we are a picky bunch! read more

Very posh looking inside. I was able to get in the same day, I forget the man's name but he was very fast and had a steady hand, he said he's been doing nails for 30 years and you can definitely tell. Shaping was perfect, good color selection. Immediately booked another appointment. I was getting Gel X nails before, they don't offer those here so I went with the hard Gel manicure, definitely going to stick with that service in the future. More gentle on the natural nail, sturdy as heck, no peeling or chipping, and he was able to add some length on my thumbnail that was shorter than the rest. read more

Foxy Nails - I gave Hannah a description of what I wanted and she picked the cutest decals - Nail Salons Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Eric did my fill and Lyra did my pedicure. Both were amazing! I have lived in Reno for a year and hopped around to different salons and techs and have been very disappointed each time with the poor quality of service. I am very particular about my cuticles being thoroughly cleaned of dead skin, the shape of my nail beds being natural and consistent among each finger/toe, and the entire nail being completely polished and neatly. They both heard the preferences I communicated before they started work and DELIVERED HIGH QUALITY SERVICE. My husband knows how important mani/pedis are to me and he noticed the details without me pointing them out. I am so happy to have found them and appreciate that the establishment is refreshingly well maintained with a pleasant ambiance. I wish the business much success. I'm a new regular! read more

Awesome staff and excellent quality in services. 100% would recommend everyone to come to Foxy nails. They are the best in town

Excellent customer service! Very nice staff and atmosphere! My daughter and I go here ans love it.

Tiana did such an amazing job! She was so sweet always making sure it felt okay and double checking that I liked it! I came in needing a fill and ended up needing a full set and it was no problem for them. They were attentive and did an amazing job! They're so good I come down here from north west Reno just to get them done and it's worth the drive! The place has a great atmosphere aswell and is a very nice place to relax. read more

This was the worst salon I've been to in my life. The nail tech almost cut into my finger with scissors when trimming the tips, He dug the drill into my nails (several times) until it burned and I pulled away. He didn't put the acrylic over my whole nail so I asked him twice to please do so- he did on some but other nails look like I already need a fill. The nails were crooked and some nails had the acrylic adhered to my skin. Under my nails was acrylic chunks and residue. He told me to go wash my hands so I did that but after all that I wasn't going to let him paint my nails. I had asked him to fix things enough and not had them fixed so I figured I would have to fix them myself at home, which I did. They still charged me $50 for the set with no polish! Next, I got a pedicure. The water was cold the whole time, I asked her to warm it up and she didn't. She rubbed oil on my calves and wanted to put my pants over them after. I asked if she had a towel- she wiped off the oil with a wet towel and looked at me with dripping legs and said "okay?!l then proceeded to pull my pants legs over my wet calves. She put my shoes on and sent me out the door with completely wet toe nails. She put the hair rail down on the chair and handed me my purse like I needed to leave right away. Honestly, worst experience at a salon in the 25 years I've been going to salons in different states as well as abroad. For a spa pedicure and acrylic set without polish they charged me $83! read more

Yikes. So I'm upset that I went against my initial inclination and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but I'll never go back here. I initially had Tracy (sp?) for the first time. She was a very nice nail tech, my only complaint is these places double book and she started to rush towards the end but nevertheless and overall good job. Even though I had to go home and file them shorter and I think my nails didn't last as long because of that. It was my first time with gel x and therefore never had a fill or whatever gel x entails. I broke a nail and had the displeasure of seeing Hannah to fix it. She was just rude. Not very nice. Didn't greet me. Seemed inconvenienced. Just a nasty person. I remember she never said hello or was polite but someone else walked in after me and she spoke and smiled. I had never had gel x so I asked what was the polish for. She rudely said it wasn't polish. My nail was lifting she just painted over it and because I wasn't familiar with the fixing process I said thanks and left. Anyway, a week or so later I needed to get my nails redone because they were starting to chip and break, including the one she "fixed." So I called for the initial woman but I couldn't remember her name, just where she sat. They said Hannah was available. I said absolutely not! So we picked someone else. I got there and didn't remember who had my appt. Again they brought up Hannah I said no but I tried to give her another chance and I regret it. I asked Hannah again about the other woman. She said she was not coming back and she can't give out her information. I was like I just want to know what happened to this mystery woman who did my nails once. I'm not trying to stalk her but clearly, you're trying to make me out to be a criminal. Again, she was rude, didn't do a good job and just treated me differently then other less melaninated customers.. she asked me to wash my hands and I did and there were no paper towels. She had one flat on her hands and I tried to use it she moved away from me and curtly patted my hands dry. It was just weird experience. Once we were done, she tried to smooth it over by saying the nails were nice etc. They weren't. It was sloppy, bulged, lumpy and reflected her poor work ethic and attitude. People wonder why customers don't speak up and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but then you wind up paying for a service you hate. Otherwise, If I did, I'd be stigmatized for being "that" customer. read more

SHEELA WAS AMAZINGGG! my nails look so good i definitely would book with her again! I didnt have to wait very long maybe like 10 mins. This 5 star review is for nails. I dont get waxing or pedicures here but I can say that it's my go-to for gel nail fills. Don does great work. Although he's usually pretty busy so you need to make an appointment. That being said, it's the closest I can get to nails that I enjoy. I moved to Reno from Chicago and tried place after place and it was just a mediocre nightmare. read more

Foxy nails is like no other! Period. They are the best in the business. I've been getting my nails done for 40 years now from London to San Francisco and places in between. The day before my wedding, I decided on a whim to get my nails done (I usually prefer bare). I called in, and when I expressed the urgency they made me an appointment for a deluxe manicure just a half an hour later! I purchased the color I wanted at Ulta before hand. Although Foxy nails has a HUGE color selection, I am super picky at least for this specific occasion. I sat down with Cindy, and honestly was apprehensive. I had seen her name here on Yelp being associated with negative experiences. However, my apprehension was absolutely unwarranted! CINDY IS WONDERFUL. She was kind, and did a stellar job. Each arm got a 5 minute massage! My nails look awesome, and my experience here was amazing! Overall , I would highly recommend Foxy Nails as well as Cindy. read more

Took a friend with me here to get pre-vacation gel mani pedis. I had booked an appointment a week before. My first clue there was going to be a problem probably should've been that I had to ask the gentleman on the phone if he wanted my name for the appointment. So I guess not a surprise that when we got there it was packed and they were not ready for us. They overbook. We were not asked to choose our service, and both of us were very disappointed with the pedicure. Very rushed and the polish doesn't even completely cover the nails. I also asked like three times for a certain color on my nail tips and the lady just used what she had nearby. And kept saying " cute, right"? I just sort of gave up. My gel manicure was coming off within a couple of days. $85 down the drain. Was hoping to find a quality new nail place, but this will not be it. read more
