This guy came on our property and talked us into switching from Greenex with a great hype. They were supposed to hear today between 1-3 for one service and 2-4 for the other. Guy never showed up and the guy called us saying we weren't home but he had the wrong address on the contract. So he gave us tw other times today and said they would be out by 6. No one showed and no one called. So I called him and cancelled. He tried everything to get me to stay. He said we weren't going to be schedule for 1st tomorrow without even asking if we were available. I told him to stay off my property and that he breached the contract. I'll stay with Greenex who has done everything promised from day one. read more

Do not believe what the sales people are telling you and once contract is signed the service is completely poor. He told me that any holes less than a quarter will be fixed part of the contract but never done. They gave me $17400 insulation and attic contract. Spoke to the manager and he was rude and didn't help. He said he would call back but never happened. $300 upfront and $61 monthly. For two years. I am seeking a lawyer help to get it cancelled. Later I realize that there are many others who are more straightforward and not make you sign a contract. Big rip off. read more

If I could give lower than (1) I would! Some technicians are knowledgeable but no one lasts there! Never get the same tech and NO ONE knows your issues as the left hand there doesn't know what the right hand is doing! Had a meeting with a supervisor (Harry) who couldn't be bothered to cancel since he went on vacation! Threw his office under the bus than be accountable. I strongly recommend NOT using Fox. Today, I found hornets (about 15) in my bedroom walk in closet. I immediately called Fox and had to beg to get an emergency visit as I am allergic to hornets, bees etc. A bite can result in anaphylactic shock. The service representative came to my house and was absolutely inexperienced. He said he did not have a ladder that would accommodate looking in my gutters. He said if he did he did not have sprayers long enough to reach the area. I asked him to try and locate the nest first and he said he is not allowed to go in the attic. He told me, " I am sorry....there is nothing I could do for you" He was leaving me in my house with a hornets nest knowing I could get bit and die. He recommended that I evacuate my house. He gave me no resolution on how Fox could help with the problem. He said he talked to his supervisor and the company cannot help and told him to leave. I have a service contract with Fox and they have charged my credit card monthly for services that covered quarterly maintenance and any other time I would have a problem. They left me and my family in a dangerous situation to fend for ourselves. I very rarely write reviews. If I could save just one individual from enduring what Fox put me through today, the review is worth it. They misrepresented themselves when they sold me the service as many of the reviews state. This was probably some of the most egregious behavior I have ever been subjected to. I was literally panic stricken and they did absolutely nothing. My own husband is in the service business. He services clients like they are family. If he serviced his clients like the service that Fox provided, we would be out of business. I have never used this company and never will. We have a do not solicit sign in our yard and our town does not allow solicitors without a permit. Apparently this doesn't apply to Fox Pest Control who has shown up 3 times to my house in the past 3-4 months. I tried calling the office and was told, "There is nothing we can do". Fox pest control serviced my neighbors house and two days later my cat was dead. I called the company and was told their products were pet friendly unless your pet was "sensitive". How would I know that? If there is any chance that a pet would be harmed I needed to be informed even if I wasn't the customer. We purchased a contract for preventive services. They never came out to treat. They sprinkled a little granular in the ground two stories below swarming carpenter bees (didn't work). After much cajoling, they did some treatment for spiders in the basement but never the preventive treatment I was promised at the outset. I cancelled the contract 6 weeks in. read more

I finally received a technician to come to my home after a week and I really would like to give a big shout out to Jesse and also to Harry the service manager who showed up today! Jesse was the customer service agent who I signed up with a year ago ,and he was so gracious enough to stay in contact with me via text after last week's episode of bees/ wasps that were found in the siding of my home and also inside! A week later Harry came to my home and sprayer the outside of my backyard, fence and the siding. He also sprayed the front of my home. I had a small bee hive growing in my light outside my front door and ,the roof contactor also had to remove a piece of siding in my home and he was almost attacked by a swarm of bees last week. Thanks again for coming out . I hope this will help alleviate the issue and not sure if the beehive is still there or i need a bee keeper but I feel a bit better now .I'll keep everyone posted. read more

First, I called and the operator took my contact information a tech called me within minutes and we were talking about my pest problem. Salesperson started to mention a package plan and suddenly the phone disconnected, I waited expecting an immediate callback, but the guy never called me back. Called the company back within 10 minutes and was being transferred all over. Hung up and tried again. I get transferred back to the original person and mentioned he hadn't called me back. He says he thought I was upset about the cost (which I hadn't heard the cost because the phone disconnected - on the other hand I was taken aback a bit that a package plan was being discussed before my problem was even physically observed.) Anyway, I responded, no, the phone disconnected. I wasn't upset that a package plan was mentioned. Okay, made an appointment for a holiday that coming Monday. Asked if this was okay, would they have anyone working, and was told, yes. But, I might be the last call of the day, but the tech would call me when he was on his way. Waited all day, no call, no show. Well I had made two appts one day apart with two different companies, so I could comparison shop as to which one was legit and the most reliable. The second company, which I won't mention the name here, also brought up a package plan and this time I responded that I preferred the tech to see the problem and explain the time span and the need directly related to my pest problem. The tech responded, no problem. They also have a pay as you go plan and said she didn't like pushing any packages on anyone. We'll see how it goes. But because this company never showed up, I can't recommend them. I guess the second company will be the better choice. If you can't show after making an appointment and don't call to reschedule, you're not reliable! So I can't give this company a higher rating. One star for answering the phone, I guess. read more

Stay away!!! This company is a complete scam. They use deceptive sales practices to sign you up for services you don't need or and didn't even request. We asked for a simple tick control service and discovered that they had signed us up to have our yard sprayed with a broad-spectrum toxic cocktail, designed to wipe out any insect life, including beneficial ones. And they make it nearly impossible to cancel a contract - with or without penalty. I finally was able to reach a representative after waiting over an hour on hold and cancel my service, only to receive a text two weeks later that announced they would be delivering the next "treatment" later this week. It took threats of reporting their crew to the police for trespass to get the service call stopped. I have no idea of what penalties they will try to impose on me for cancelling their service. read more

They demanded cancelation in writing (even though all their calls are recorded). They pre-billed me for 2 months. Refused to void billing. Took me to collection. Over the years, we have called exterminators. My husband went ahead with these people this time around because they were in the neighborhood. They keep PESTering me!!! Twice I have told the representatives that we already had a pest service and weren't interested, yet today they have come back a third time on their hoverboard! It is very disrupting to my husband who is trying to work from home. They get my dog all riled up as well. I would never sign up with this annoying company. Definitely a bait and switch, DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT! They will charge you but give minimal service. They spread out the payments to look like they are inexpensive, which is quite the opposite. Customer service is very pleasant, but do nothing for you. At the end of the day you still have to pay ridiculous fees, even to cancel their service. Awful. When I call to reschedule or follow up the hold times are at least 30 mins. The pest representative informed me when he showed up that they don't go into crawl spaces even if they are spacious. No value for the money. The service people are not friendly or professional. Service technician that came to my home with seemingly no knowledge of pests (the service that we were hiring them to do/ should be knowledgeable about).
